      If it was not a "reset" Tan truck, it doesn't flake like that. Mine came from Sealey painted Tan. Well, they all start OD green, then get the Woodland or Tan after that. The ones that were painted after the fact to go to theater are horrible!

    pity you don't have the big trailer they have the same platform dimensions as the truck I think.
    then you could have turned the camper into a caravan.
    or a winter caravan, then the camera should not be left standing in the winter.
    thanks for the video . Sincerely, Hollandduck from the Netherlands

    • @NEILSWORLD
      @NEILSWORLD  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, there are trailers that have the same size bed and tires as the truck that the camper would sit on nicely. I'll figure out something to do with this trailer 🤔😁

    • @hollandduck79
      @hollandduck79 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NEILSWORLD
      are those full size trailers actually expensive ?
      I have absolutely no idea what something like this would cost.
      I only hear that the price of normal trailers for behind the car / pick-up has become crazy much more expensive now from double to even 3x the normal price.
      here in the Netherlands we are not bothered by that and not even from the wood to cut, while here all the wood has to be imported from other countries

    • @NEILSWORLD

    How light do you think you could make one of these? I live in alaska and I’m interested in making a moose buggy out of one but we do have some considerable mud bogs to get through so weight is a big deal.

    Nice! Can you show more of the interior build out this time?
    Is that going to be your camper truck while the tan one becomes a dedicated work/plow truck?
    Are you putting a winch in or swapping yours over?
    I look forward to the build progress updates. Keep up the great work.

    • @NEILSWORLD
      @NEILSWORLD  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will definitely do videos of the cab interior build. You got it right this truck will be dedicated to the camper. I haven't decided what to do about the winch yet, I sure don't want to be without one.

    Love the videos of your plow truck. Got me thinking about one (upstate NY here). Quick question: does the heater actually keep you warm? My experience with military vehicles (granted it's 40 yrs out of date) is heat was a luxury. Better off starting a fire inside. 😆

    • @NEILSWORLD
      @NEILSWORLD  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The heat control is a pull rod and I only have it pulled out about a third of the way.

    Two questions. Do you feel a huge power or drivability deference between your trucks? Do you put hwy gears in your trucks?

    • @NEILSWORLD
      @NEILSWORLD  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn't to call it a huge difference in power. No, I don't feel the need for the higher gears.

      I flew to get my truck with a whole box of tools. No problem at all with the tools in checked baggage. The handgun (inside the tool box in its own locked box) was a hassle.

      I only went with the backpack I was wearing and a heavy jacket and snow pants took up most of the room in there. I brought the jacket and snow pants because the high in Vermont on the day I was driving home was 10°F and if I did break down I didn't want to freeze. Did not bring any tools. 🤞
