- SLAVA UKRAINI! IT'S TIME TO PROTECT UKRAINE TODAY, BUT IN HOI4 MODERN DAY MOD!
Remember that this is all a video game and for entertainment, this is Millennium Dawn, a HOI4 Mod that lets you play HOI4 but with the Modern Day map and politics which makes for a lot of fun situations because real life politics are a lot more complex and interesting than just classic WW2.
This is a Hearts of Iron 4 Mod called Millennium Dawn that let's you play Modern Day HOI4 where you can experience any country you want and in this case it's Ukraine.
And after Tommy played Modern Day Russia in Hearts of Iron 4, it was only right for him to play Ukraine in HOI4 2022 as well.
Tommy will start off in the 2017 start date where we have the world in real life setting where you have Trump as the president of the USA, Merkel leader of Germany and Putin leader of Russia.
As we get close to 2022, Zelensky will take reign of Ukraine and protect it from the unjust situation Putin will put him in.
It is time for Ukraine to stand up to Russia and it is time to save Ukraine in Hearts of Iron 4 with the help of Tommy and in this case NATO.
THIS IS MODERN DAY UKRAINE IN HOI4! WE WILL HOLD AND WE WILL PROTECT OUR HOME!

The fact that there is war in this region is extremely sad and we really really hope it comes to an end soon, Ukraine's territorial integrity has to be maintained and the worst part is that the people living in both of these countries have to go through it all.
Don't blame the Russians, blame the Russian government and those Russians that support it, I don't think most Russian people want this and so try and be empathetic towards them and obviously to Ukraine and Ukrainians.
We are all humans at the end of the day and we shouldn't let stupid ideologies, fantasies and terrible leaders and governments tear us apart, hopefully one day we are all united and live in honest harmony.
One day that will be a reality and I honestly can't wait for that day, but for now let's keep striving towards it and we must hold governments and leaders accountable until that day happens.

I don't think any rational person coming at this with an objective point of view can be okay with what is happening to Ukraine when they are the ones who got attacked and their territory invaded.
Naturally this is all very complex so it's hard to properly word it in a short comment, but I wanted to make that clear.
If I were to write everything about it, we would be here for hours so I'm gonna summarize it quickly and I hope you guys understand that.
I think what is written here will be pretty obvious and a normal take though.
Naturally I wanna add that you should not blame Russians as a whole, blame the Russian government and those Russians that support what is happening right now, I don't think most Russian people want this and so I want you to be empathetic towards the normal Russian who is suffering due to the stupid stuff Putin is putting their country through.
Be capable of separating the people with the government, I think we are advanced as a society now to finally do that instead of not learning from history and the stupid stuff humanity did back in the day.
Naturally you should be extremely empathetic towards Ukraine and Ukrainians who are having their country invaded, but man it's not a race to the bottom, both deserve your empathy and support.

As a Ukrainian, the mod could really use some work on its events and focuses, there was so much wrong with the nomenclature
you could actually just hit up the devs and tell them what to fix, i think they would unironically appreciate it, probably on their discord or something
I'm sure they'd be happy to have native advice/help, I have heard Brasilians praise the MD focus tree as if it was made with actual Brazilians helping with the details, so they must really care for the expertise when it is available, unfortunately they didn't seem to have it with the Ukranian one

Also, try comparing Poroshenko and Yanukovich? You know that Poroshenko used to be in Yanukovich-Azarov team since 2012, right?
So, Poroshenko did not personally give that order. I suppose Kolomoisky (who also owns the channel which Zelensky company put their shows onto) might’ve pulled a stunt to put Zelensky’s talking head into the president seat, because he’s loved by people and he’s easy to control (you know him, his friends and his family well), that stunt among the other things being the Servant of the people

In reality, Zelensky also wanted to end the war in Donbass (and don't write here as if the war started because of the Ukrainians and their decisions, especially considering that it was russia that sponsored the terrorists), which was perfectly clear from the same Crimean platform and the cease-fire agreements, which were constantly violated by the so-called LPR and DPR, and Ukrainian soldiers themselves had no right to return fire, which at a certain point led to bad sentiments in the army itself and its commanders, as they could do nothing.
The rest of the nonsense about "Poroshenko was on the Yanukovych-Azarov team in 2012" (I'll surprise you, but at the same time all those who were in the government after Yanukovych was ousted remained exactly the same. It's a shame that devs called the war in Donbass a "civil one". It was provoked by Russians, and they sent some of their troops there back then.
It's still a civil war, or was until last year. Not any different from the kind of shenanigans the CIA pulled in some countries, only this time it was Russia instigating things instead of America.
