Don't delete your stuff, I'm pretty sure it'll still give you items you don't have. I hadn't unlocked the new melee weapons or bow yet but they still appeared as options on a few runs.
I know it’s been 2months but he’s saying to delete the trash you have on ur inventory so you can consistently get good equipment. Consider that if out of 10 weapons, 3 are yours and 7 are random; what happens if those 3 that are yours, are the trash ones? That’s why he’s advising to delete the trash. Is up to you to consider what’s trash and what’s not. I prefer having a good build of almost everything than deleting stuff for the sake of the gamemode
@@vincebeenhere That makes no sense, whether they are owned or no has no bearing on whether they will be selected as your options for that run, you could have 3 weapons in your whole arsenal and not have them selected for your next run, leaving you with trash default mod configs. What you should really be doing is modding all of your weapons. I wouldn't forma everything, but Catalysts are cheap enough these days thanks to Nightwave. Slots are the most restricting part, but if you're limited on slots you're only going to be keeping the best gear anyways.

Felt the need to say this because it's been a huge help, if ur running revenant then excavations and defense missions are free. Just enthrall a few enemies and they pull more than enough aggro every round to fly thru em. Hope this helps 🙌🏼

For Titania, prioritize Bombastine's Malice and the one that makes enemies you shoot more vulnerable to the next shot. My Dex Pixia was the radistion build, and once I had those running I stopped having issues killing quickly

If you’re playing with a team, steel path circuit defense is the easiest to fail at the longer you go, unless you build to negate damage and slow them down, killing them before they can get to it works too but highly unlikely that you’ll be able to kill all enemies before they get a lick off the defense obj since they CAN spawn in front of the defense obj

It mostly comes down to luck as most runs you get bad frames and when you do get good frames you either get bad weapons or bad teammates and good luck if you try to use khorra or gara as the odds of getting a decent statstick is essentially 0

@@ShugoAWay if it kills steel path youre fine. The decrees will scale your weapon. Also the 3rd defense is a no go unless you have a god tier team. Enemies will 1 shot the objective easy. I just beat the 2nd defense today with a buddy being frost and mag. Got to round 14 with enemy levels around 4900 after that. Left before the next defense.
For energy hungry frames I use Nourish for the extra energy boost, otherwise I will run out of energy. Melee weapons are just too good not to run naramon, so I can have full energy and deal tons of damage. But even when DE fixed the missions, after stage 14 the enemies will already deal a lot of damage to the target
I just use the Dexterity arcanes for combo duration if i want it. I still really like vazerin for the early and late game Or if you use unairu your operator can solo everything but defense stuff lol
Delete your gears? That is the most absurd tip i've heard in warframe. You still get those weapons with basic mods. With or without. So what's the big difference. weapon is like blood in this game i would rather suggest to build every goddamn weapons
I don't know if it is an update since this video, but weapons I do not have appear in there. I think if you have mastered the weapon it is a random choice. But I do believe I have seen weapons I have not gotten yet in there too.
It doesn't matter if you delete exces gear or not, the choices you get are from the entire pool of equipment in warframe not just what you own. The advantage of owning said gear is that it will keep the cosmetics and mod loadout. But you will still get generic gear you don't have with generic builds in the undercroft selections.
It definitely doesnt only pick random gear. I get the same secondary weapons all the time. Some slots are from all of warframe and some slots are only from your arsenal so you clean your inventory so the slots from your arsenal arnt junk Iv actually deleted gear that it was giving me for the run and then it picked something else from my arsenal when i went back EDIT: I just tested my claim directly above and the same thing did not happen. I had the ripkas appear and then when i deleted it it was still there I still believe the game has bias towards your gear though.
It will pick the best version you own. So delete the normal version of your weapon type. For example I keep getting kuva/prime version since I delete the normal version
trinity or any frame that can use pillage well (or even just condemn) are always pretty nice for shield gating without a gear wheel health tanking even with super high DR gets pretty hard round the lvl 1000 mark where the thrax with their magnetic dmg your adaptation is barely stacked against (if at all) start just blasting you for like ten's of thousands of pre-mitigation dmg if you get hit by the beams, jackal from the new assassination mission too if you get hit by its beams or artillery
Pillage is good no doubt but can be incosistent if you expect to get full shields on the pullback and there was no enemies in range and then you dont get another full shield gate and die. Very run on sentence but yeah not saying dont use pillage but it is a downside. The gamemode is just wack and boring anyway
Well, there is a lot of "interesting" things here, but lets just say circuit was really new a month ago. 1) Dont throw away your stuff, there is no point. 2) Dont use healthtank build in sp if your frame dont have defensive abilities like Mesa you are gonna get outscaled instantly, enemies scales too fast. 3)Optimize your loadout (mostly frames) around defence (and excavation a bit) because you can only loose if you fail dafence, any other mission is easy. 4) If your are playing solo just fish for good frames and 1 somewhat decent weapon (weapon that you can build properly atleast) would be fine. Good choises will be Frost (defence, cc and armor strip), Gara (good defence, cc, can armorstrip with helminth), Octavia (will not go wery far but dont need practically any weapon), Mesa (exhalted pistols ftw), Rhino (full range\duration stomping), Titania, Wisp, Nyx, Loki, Xaku, Baruuk, Revenant and etc. If u fish for good frame you can easy stay up to 3rd defence(leave before it), or even up to 4th (enemies will scale to 3000-4000+ lvls, so soloing further would be wery hard) 5) Cc is really important (Frost Avalanche, Nyx Chaos, Loki Ultimate, Necros Terrify with augment etc), without decaing key its hard to survive on shieldgating, and only some frames can survive with healthtanking. Banshee Silence is most important one because it stop Traxx (their magnetic spamming ghostly form) and Eximus abilities, which is very important. You can play without silence solo (There is less Traxx units, and you probably cant go to lvl cap), but the more ppl you have in group, the more you need it. 6) Some frames cant really stay circuit solo, but can be really good supports for a party like Saryn. TL:DR: Optimize arond defence missions, use Silence, Armor strip abilities and CC. You can go to somewhat decent lvls solo with decent defence frame and all the way to lvl cap with atleast 1 friend.
Main mode I'm concerned with is defense. I can pretty much handle all the others regardless of what gear comes up, but def is the weak link. Prob the thing i need mosts are what helminth abilities help the most for def segments.
Great info. I have literally everything except the regular frames I trashed in the Helminth. It hasn’t hurt anything … until now. I would recommend caution going crazy on the clearance until we know both exactly how the randomized works and we are sure DE doesn’t change the system two week from now because of the complaining. ‘Cause that never happened before. I feel like they are sending us mixed messages - they want us to use more stuff, warframes and weapons, but in the SP circuit mode there is just so much stuff that is forever not viable in there. Also on the other hand, nearly all the weapons they chose for the list of new incarnon-able one, with a few notable exceptions, are in that category. So very mixed messages from them. But yes, when you are forced to look at it that way, the percentage of permanently crap or otherwise off the current meta weapons out of the total right now is probably like %80. I feel DE should probably look at THAT issue more. Still, and I’ve said it elsewhere, the thing that is fun for me as a veteran is that it forces me to look at, and strategically consider, the arsenal as a whole. We have never had that before. Of course, the exact same thing seems to make a lot of a lot of veterans want to rage quit, and I totally get it.
After some consideration, i think having a disgustingly huge arsenal isn't totally a bad thing. At least you will be able to mod the gear that the game randomly chooses since you will probably own it. So I dont think veterans in the same situation as you should take my advice. Since i spent my warframe experience only keeping things I like or thought I would need its probably more worth it for me to widdle down my gear even more so the slots the game chooses from my arsenal are more powerful since the slots it fills with random gear are most likely going to be ass. Also i thought of the same point myself. I love that this is making me consider my my arsenal as a whole. I have so many prime frames and meta weapons I kept just because I should and never touched them. Now I can see I have to use them in the circuit, go to my orbiter and throw on a forma and a build, level it up in the circuit, and then repeat when it comes up again. So it will be a vast improvement to my arsenal in the long run. I jusy hope they improve the circuit to make it more fun. Not enough interesting decrees, defense and excavation take too long since not everyone has optimized frames for it, survival is too easy since it gives you life support. Right now its fun but it will fall off and it really doesnt have to.
@@Doth_ At the very least I have to hunker down and go through all my “trash” stuff and mod them well. I was just rolling my eyes at how many of the MR fodder things that popped up in circuit that had almost no mods. Some of them were from years ago when I didn’t even have too many maxed out mods. It is going to be a delicate balance between encouraging people to branch out and frustrating them. I expect DE to tweak some things. I know my least favorite degree of difficulty change methods they have tried in the past were the assortment of the same as normal play, only gimped. I get that is very easy for them. But I didn’t become a space ninja so I could limp around a map and whack enemies with a wet noodle!
Why delete the unused gear? That is exactly the opposite I would do.. There might be a bias towards gear you own, but that doesnt really save you in any way. It is far better to have as much stuff as possible so you are more likely to get good gear when going to circuit. Even with just a potato and some mods on a level 30 weapon it will most likely be miles and bounds better than the standard mods the game can offer for any piece of equipment the game can give you, cos they almost never include primed or galvanized mods. Second point is also that the gear selection in duviri never gives you any prime, prisma, wraith etc etc weapon variants unless you really own that weapon. Like if you sold your viper wraith you will never see it, just normal viper. That applies to frames also, tho I dunno does the game give you excal prime or umbra if you have both. Another tip I remember someone saying was that make sure you have armor strip on whatever frame you are using, but I think that is wrong. The most important thing to have is some form of cc. You can easily get ludicrous amounts of damage from decrees and most frames have some form of scaling damage too in their abilities. So just some form of survivability, just rolling guard and one augur mod should be more than enough to stay alive as there are no null bubles, so your worst enemy are those extra thic overguard shields. If you are doing solo circuit like I do, frames like vauban and zephyr are going to be top tier. Both of these frames have an ability to keep enemies in incapacitated state for long periods of time so you have to do whatever... kill them, run around looting the area and find decree fragments, or heck, take a toilet break or whatever. On the countrary, some of the worst frames to pick would be valkyr, trinity, and yes, even mirage, as these frames dont offer much in terms of cc. Of cource helminth could fix a lot of problems and make every frame really usable by subsuming either something like ensnare, tharros strike or something else that is a strong cc or armor strip in the case of a frame that has strong cc already.
First, use rivens for those "bad" weapons and throw out the good ones. Second, use 10 warframes, only 10 (prime if possible). Third, play duo if possible, bcz excavation missions are faster in duo
Feels like DE shot themselves in the foot with this one. If they force players to clean out their weapons and warframe inventory, say good bye to anyone purchasing slots.
The irony of not being a long term player with memory of how to best handle things with a forced randomizer to get a strong incarnon for endgame you will be gimped on.Also they are nerfing rivens for incarnons so long term this will just nerf more stuff to make this game more mobile friendly as in casual.

You're not wrong, but usually, the builds are pretty dang bad. No galvanized or prime mods and a lot of the time they throw on physical elemental damage mods which are bad 98% if the time. I dont know if the default config gives you a weapon arcane, but i doubt.
@@Doth_ for someone testing the regular mode, its gonna be just better than going in there without mods at all, for us who can do Steel Path easily those standard builds won't cut it.
The regular mode is very easy, and fun. You could choose the warframe and weapons at random with the default mods in every case and be successful. The hardest part will be remembering how to use the warframes you haven’t used in a long time, or ever if you are new. It’s kind of like a warframe pop quiz, and kind of fun BECAUSE of that. But SP is a mode, even in the rest of the game where you know in advance what you are getting, that is very hard to survive unless everything is optimized. You don’t need 3 great weapons, but unless you have a warframe that can completely do without like Octavia or Saryn, etc, you need at least one optimized weapon. Default mods on random weapons will be virtually useless in SP.

The alternative is to have a really good build in every existing weapon which would be at an astronomical cost of resources and practically impossible for many players right? Thank you for your vids! Same with weapons, i have prime versions only, and few normals, but game gives mee RNG from all in-game weapons, even ones that i never had. So deleteing weapons from our hoarding collection is invalid.

When Duviri runs its course (as it inevitably will once everyone wrings all the incarnon adapters they want out of it), then those items I deleted/sold will still be gone and will either have to be reacquired or just stay gone. I'd rather, if I had to, run one link of an SP circuit at a time with a crap frame/weapon loadout than to sh!tcan all my "less than optimal" gear for the sake of efficiency. With nearly 5K hours in the game, I have time to burn if that's what it takes.

I’d love DE to weed out the worst of the bad weapons as I’ve had runs where I had no weapons to choose that could actually kill something before I die of old age.

Vazarin Focus school is a good counter for this. Heal the objective and Revive teammates Instantly / Faster.

Thats a good point. You might not get a great stat stick with a riven but you can turn every melee into a stat stick still

4) If your are playing solo just fish for good frames and 1 somewhat decent weapon (weapon that you can build properly atleast) would be fine. Good choises will be Frost (defence, cc and armor strip), Gara (good defence, cc, can armorstrip with helminth), Octavia (will not go wery far but dont need practically any weapon), Mesa (exhalted pistols ftw), Rhino (full range\duration stomping), Titania, Wisp, Nyx, Loki, Xaku, Baruuk, Revenant and etc. If u fish for good frame you can easy stay up to 3rd defence(leave before it), or even up to 4th (enemies will scale to 3000-4000+ lvls, so soloing further would be wery hard)
5) Cc is really important (Frost Avalanche, Nyx Chaos, Loki Ultimate, Necros Terrify with augment etc), without decaing key its hard to survive on shieldgating, and only some frames can survive with healthtanking. Banshee Silence is most important one because it stop Traxx (their magnetic spamming ghostly form) and Eximus abilities, which is very important. You can play without silence solo (There is less Traxx units, and you probably cant go to lvl cap), but the more ppl you have in group, the more you need it.
6) Some frames cant really stay circuit solo, but can be really good supports for a party like Saryn.
TL:DR: Optimize arond defence missions, use Silence, Armor strip abilities and CC. You can go to somewhat decent lvls solo with decent defence frame and all the way to lvl cap with atleast 1 friend.
Main mode I'm concerned with is defense. I can pretty much handle all the others regardless of what gear comes up, but def is the weak link. Prob the thing i need mosts are what helminth abilities help the most for def segments.

Great info. I have literally everything except the regular frames I trashed in the Helminth. It hasn’t hurt anything … until now. I would recommend caution going crazy on the clearance until we know both exactly how the randomized works and we are sure DE doesn’t change the system two week from now because of the complaining. ‘Cause that never happened before. I feel like they are sending us mixed messages - they want us to use more stuff, warframes and weapons, but in the SP circuit mode there is just so much stuff that is forever not viable in there. Also on the other hand, nearly all the weapons they chose for the list of new incarnon-able one, with a few notable exceptions, are in that category. So very mixed messages from them. But yes, when you are forced to look at it that way, the percentage of permanently crap or otherwise off the current meta weapons out of the total right now is probably like %80. I feel DE should probably look at THAT issue more.
Still, and I’ve said it elsewhere, the thing that is fun for me as a veteran is that it forces me to look at, and strategically consider, the arsenal as a whole. We have never had that before. Of course, the exact same thing seems to make a lot of a lot of veterans want to rage quit, and I totally get it.
After some consideration, i think having a disgustingly huge arsenal isn't totally a bad thing. At least you will be able to mod the gear that the game randomly chooses since you will probably own it. So I dont think veterans in the same situation as you should take my advice.
Since i spent my warframe experience only keeping things I like or thought I would need its probably more worth it for me to widdle down my gear even more so the slots the game chooses from my arsenal are more powerful since the slots it fills with random gear are most likely going to be ass.
Also i thought of the same point myself. I love that this is making me consider my my arsenal as a whole. I have so many prime frames and meta weapons I kept just because I should and never touched them. Now I can see I have to use them in the circuit, go to my orbiter and throw on a forma and a build, level it up in the circuit, and then repeat when it comes up again. So it will be a vast improvement to my arsenal in the long run.
I jusy hope they improve the circuit to make it more fun. Not enough interesting decrees, defense and excavation take too long since not everyone has optimized frames for it, survival is too easy since it gives you life support. Right now its fun but it will fall off and it really doesnt have to.
@@Doth_ At the very least I have to hunker down and go through all my “trash” stuff and mod them well. I was just rolling my eyes at how many of the MR fodder things that popped up in circuit that had almost no mods. Some of them were from years ago when I didn’t even have too many maxed out mods. It is going to be a delicate balance between encouraging people to branch out and frustrating them. I expect DE to tweak some things. I know my least favorite degree of difficulty change methods they have tried in the past were the assortment of the same as normal play, only gimped. I get that is very easy for them. But I didn’t become a space ninja so I could limp around a map and whack enemies with a wet noodle!
Why delete the unused gear? That is exactly the opposite I would do.. There might be a bias towards gear you own, but that doesnt really save you in any way. It is far better to have as much stuff as possible so you are more likely to get good gear when going to circuit. Even with just a potato and some mods on a level 30 weapon it will most likely be miles and bounds better than the standard mods the game can offer for any piece of equipment the game can give you, cos they almost never include primed or galvanized mods. Second point is also that the gear selection in duviri never gives you any prime, prisma, wraith etc etc weapon variants unless you really own that weapon. Like if you sold your viper wraith you will never see it, just normal viper. That applies to frames also, tho I dunno does the game give you excal prime or umbra if you have both.
Another tip I remember someone saying was that make sure you have armor strip on whatever frame you are using, but I think that is wrong. The most important thing to have is some form of cc. You can easily get ludicrous amounts of damage from decrees and most frames have some form of scaling damage too in their abilities. So just some form of survivability, just rolling guard and one augur mod should be more than enough to stay alive as there are no null bubles, so your worst enemy are those extra thic overguard shields.
If you are doing solo circuit like I do, frames like vauban and zephyr are going to be top tier. Both of these frames have an ability to keep enemies in incapacitated state for long periods of time so you have to do whatever... kill them, run around looting the area and find decree fragments, or heck, take a toilet break or whatever. On the countrary, some of the worst frames to pick would be valkyr, trinity, and yes, even mirage, as these frames dont offer much in terms of cc. Of cource helminth could fix a lot of problems and make every frame really usable by subsuming either something like ensnare, tharros strike or something else that is a strong cc or armor strip in the case of a frame that has strong cc already.
First, use rivens for those "bad" weapons and throw out the good ones.
Second, use 10 warframes, only 10 (prime if possible).
Third, play duo if possible, bcz excavation missions are faster in duo
Feels like DE shot themselves in the foot with this one. If they force players to clean out their weapons and warframe inventory, say good bye to anyone purchasing slots.
The irony of not being a long term player with memory of how to best handle things with a forced randomizer to get a strong incarnon for endgame you will be gimped on.Also they are nerfing rivens for incarnons so long term this will just nerf more stuff to make this game more mobile friendly as in casual.

Dont, this isn't true. You will get random weapons in the circuit REGARDLESS, because it is RANDOM and it all comes to RNG at the end of the day. You still get weapons you do not own, and alot of the crappy ones, no matter how many and which you have in your arsenal.

Even if you're given a weapon that you never used or unlocked before, they give you a default mod config so not every weapon is gonna be useless.
You're not wrong, but usually, the builds are pretty dang bad. No galvanized or prime mods and a lot of the time they throw on physical elemental damage mods which are bad 98% if the time. I dont know if the default config gives you a weapon arcane, but i doubt.

@@Doth_ for someone testing the regular mode, its gonna be just better than going in there without mods at all, for us who can do Steel Path easily those standard builds won't cut it.
The regular mode is very easy, and fun. You could choose the warframe and weapons at random with the default mods in every case and be successful. The hardest part will be remembering how to use the warframes you haven’t used in a long time, or ever if you are new. It’s kind of like a warframe pop quiz, and kind of fun BECAUSE of that. But SP is a mode, even in the rest of the game where you know in advance what you are getting, that is very hard to survive unless everything is optimized. You don’t need 3 great weapons, but unless you have a warframe that can completely do without like Octavia or Saryn, etc, you need at least one optimized weapon. Default mods on random weapons will be virtually useless in SP.
I didn’t buy all these slots just to delete em 😅

The alternative is to have a really good build in every existing weapon which would be at an astronomical cost of resources and practically impossible for many players right?

lol but it does not work like that. I have ONLY prime frames in my "inventory" normal versions were feed to hellminth, and i still get normal versions in circuit/duviri.
Same with weapons, i have prime versions only, and few normals, but game gives mee RNG from all in-game weapons, even ones that i never had.
So deleteing weapons from our hoarding collection is invalid.
This is such a stupid fucking mission type, it requires players to own every single fucking Warframe and weapon WITH steel path builds by which point there’s no need for any of the shit that’s in the circuit because they either already have it or don’t need it.

@@Doth_ It's not a matter of being a "hoarder", that stuff not only represents hundreds of hours farming, building, leveling, etc., but also tells the story of my journey within the game. When Duviri runs its course (as it inevitably will once everyone wrings all the incarnon adapters they want out of it), then those items I deleted/sold will still be gone and will either have to be reacquired or just stay gone. I'd rather, if I had to, run one link of an SP circuit at a time with a crap frame/weapon loadout than to sh!tcan all my "less than optimal" gear for the sake of efficiency. With nearly 5K hours in the game, I have time to burn if that's what it takes.

@@Doth_ yeah, that’s not going to help as the weapons are random whether you have them in your inventory or not, so deleting them isn’t going to eliminate them from spawning. The only downside that exists as I see it is level 0 warframes for those who have them but haven’t levelled or put a real build on them. I’m not sure why many people who are running steel path would have those, but I did see a L2 with a rank 0 Nezha. I’d love DE to weed out the worst of the bad weapons as I’ve had runs where I had no weapons to choose that could actually kill something before I die of old age.
