Had to comment. After watching a half dozen videos on crock pot chili, yours is the best. You list amounts but I really like your explanations of some of the ingredients and process. Thumbs up and subscribed. Cheers

NEVER drain your greese in the sink! It will ruin your pipes, always trash it, or put in a small container and save it to use for other dishes in the future

@@ellebelle6410 do you mean to correct someone without sounding like a pretentious clown? No, okay 👍 I'd bet most people know what I mean, yet you're the only one who comes off as an unlikable person. Dismiss the information that will help people save money from replacing their pipes, we gotta make sure we show our annoyance with a grammatical error on a TH-cam video. Get behind me Elle Belle from Hell.

My thoughts exactly, never tip any kind of fat or grease down the sink, it is a complete no no. Grab a piece of kitchen towel and with a spoon push it around the pan, this gathers up any fat.

I made this exactly as your recipe called for and it was outstanding. Some comments state it is very spicy but I disagree. The liquid smoke sort of smooths out the spices which leaves a delicious lingering after taste. I can't wait to make it again. Thank you!!

_NEVER_ drain your grease into your sink. Pour into old jars then trash when full. Grease in the pipes causes clogs.

There was probably very little grease in what she poured off. The first to come off of the burger is good old water, added in the form of ice by the butchers to keep the meat cool while grinding. You’ll have fry the burger much longer than she to get a substantial amount of fat from the meat.

In addition to draining & rinsing your beans, you should drain & rinse your tomato sauce & diced tomatoes as well, and that's for good reason. All of the salt in the tomato products can throw your recipe in to complete turmoil, so you'll have no idea what to do!! Otherwise, you can just use less salt in your recipe. I always salt to taste, anyway.

Is this recipe specifically for a mommy like you with a hubby and kiddos? Do people with families only want to talk to other people with families, or is it that the only thing that mommas ever want to talk about is their family, and they want to remind people constantly that they're married with children? I guess there's chili for everyone, and then there's chili for the "fam."
