is it really a spoiler when it comes to Hank Green? it's like playing against a energetic person that gives his all but comes out having a great time while losing
OMG Britt is FANTASTIC!!! She's always so serious on SciShow Psych but here we get a chance to see her personality (and it's pretty dang awesome) She's funny and sharp and goofy and competitive and will watch all of the back episodes to analyze Hank's playing style so she can beat him with the numbers - good job! I'll be watching Psych with a (little) better understanding of the presenter now...
If i were a fabulously wealthy person I'd build one of those fancy mausoleums, and set it up with a trigger so if anyone sneaks in it would start playing "spooky scary skeletons" progressively louder before a motor started shaking my coffin in time with the music.
I actually got a commercial during the commercial break, I think it's the second time it happens to me. It was for Cialis which I found funny when Michael said "That was my favourite commercial." Note that youtube creators do not know what if any commercials we get when watching their youtube videos.
SCISHOW: Please put BRIT up against a staffer who's NEVER PLAYED THE GAME! ("Let's see where those spreadsheets get you now, Brit! Muahahahahahahaha (cough, hack, wheeze) Hahahahahahaha....")
Does not change the game mechanics (we're just putting a new player out there), but does prevent her from using stats to game her way to a win. This will force her to rely on her knowledge of trivia more and less on what the other player will do.
I had a really hard time not laughing during the explanation about chins...because Stefan Chin talking about chins made me think of him talking about Chins instead...
I know this would take more time, but I think the quiz show would flow better if the contestants watched the explanation clips during the show so they could react to them. Like, the way it is now, the person with the info says some really interesting fact and then the contestants move on like nothing happened, while still commenting on other things. It's seems jarring. Like, on Holy F-ing Science there's this vibe of people learning about stuff and reacting to what they're learning, which I like - it makes the information seem relevant and interesting. It might not be worth changing, but I think it would make the informational part of the show seem more important and worth thinking about.
13:13 “Put your hands on your face and feel the skull underneath and think: ‘I’m gonna be dead some day and it’ll just be my skeleton’” “I had a lot of coke today”
I can relate with this aspect of Brit we are seeing here! Specially being in school I have this same kind of excitement for knowledge and competition relating to science! NERD ON GIRL!
The answer to the chin riddle, in my opinion, is that humans are great at thinking, so the chin supports us while we are engrossed in this process. As depicted in the statue of the Thinking Man. This is just my whacky opinion though.
I'm not sure I've seen the contestants have so much fun before. The synergy between these three is magical! I bet you all have a great time at the office! I loved it!
My 5th grade science project was on whether cats have a dominant paw. I basically used this as an excuse to play with a lot of cats, so it was a great decision. Most of the cats in my experiment had a dominant paw, and more of them were left-pawed than right-pawed. These results should probably be taken with a grain of salt though since I had a small sample size and I was 10.
Elephants preferring their right tusk for digging actually kind of makes sense. Elephants are a species that learns from others, where a calf might've seen it's mother digging with her right tusk, and just learned to do the same. So it isn't so much a preference, but rather they only made an attempt with one tusk and maybe never bothered to use the other. Meanwhile, they may continue to use their right tusk for digging, because they want to keep the left one sharp as a weapon.
I'm not surprised that Michael's tie smells good. I got a hug from him before one of Hank's shows and he smelled good then, even though it was hot outside. He was super sweet too! Sadly I didn't get to meet Hank but just meeting Michael was enough to make my whole week.
I think chins developed cause humans started walking upright and constantly faceplant, chins then develop to protect your teeth and noses becomes more prominent as well.
Michael:"we're gunna head to a commercial break for some commercials"
*No commercial plays*
Michael: "that was my favorite commercial"
Me: Saaaaaaame
OMG YOU PICKED ME!! Haha I just ordered a bunch from DFTBA today too 💜 so honored to say that I LOST SciShow quiz show!
Aww.. congrats?
Spoiler alert! :-)
Sarah Caskie spoiler...

is it really a spoiler when it comes to Hank Green? it's like playing against a energetic person that gives his all but comes out having a great time while losing

Plus she's a dime 👌
I felt the exact opposite, every time the camera zoomed in on her or her mouth opened I felt a sting in my brain.
"Put your hand on your face and feel your skull underneath and think 'I'm going to be dead someday and then it'll just be my skeleton'"
Jfc Hank

@@arthas640 the lich king would say that.
4:08 Brit, host of SciShow Psych, attempts to Psych out Hank during a question about Psych.
That's what I call Psych-ception.
5:14 somebody please make a gif of Aranda's face so I can lmao it for the rest of my life
Alice Mary dude I know that😂😂
i didn't even realize until i scrolled past your comment! That is a gif worthy gesture if i ever saw one.

I'm not sure that would change the result that much unless you also changed the game mechanics. What do you think?
Does not change the game mechanics (we're just putting a new player out there), but does prevent her from using stats to game her way to a win. This will force her to rely on her knowledge of trivia more and less on what the other player will do.
This made me smile for 22 minutes. Britt seems like someone I would want to have a beer with.
Love her passion and knowledge on SciShow and HFS... Data-driven SciShow Quiz Show!
“Hank said it smelled really good”
“It does!”
How did that situation come up?
Hank: "hey, can I borrow your tie?"
Michael: "sure, here you go"
Hank: *sniffs tie* "it smells awesome!"
Michael: "uh, coool, ok"
SomeoneBeginingWithI of course I’m a fool
I laughed at how happy/amused hank was as he said "it was" lol. Happiest confirmation ever :D I really want to smell that tie..
They kinda end up by your nose when you're tying them. ;) th-cam.com/video/9BMhFmNzw-o/w-d-xo.html

Brit is just too awesome, and maybe just a tiny tiny bit competitive! Loved this episode!

“Everything’s made up and the points don’t matter!”
Enjoy the episode and don't overanalyze things, please.
The twist in the end with the wagers was awesome, way to go Brit! One of the best SciShow Quizzes so far imho.
I believe in you Hank
Clash ForLife you got liked, you you you.GOT LIKED!
Hank doesn't exist. Belief doesn't equal evidence. Educate yourself about the truth.
@@brookeconsole5719 wow that was the stupidest thing i have eveeeeer read in my life, do u know what he actually mean
I like Brit. Yay Brit.
Brit is wearing a tie. It's around her head, love it
I love the energy between these three!
Yes, Brit is extreme, Hank is just laughing the whole time, and Michael... Well, he just looks scared.
Side note: Wearing that tie as a bow is absolutely hilarious. Best thing I've seen so far today.
Wow, didn't expect metagaming in the quiz show. Made for an entertaining change of pace for sure :D
13:16
Well....thanks for starting my existential crisis..
XD
"Ah can feel mah bOOOONes!"
hahaha!
Everyone else is calling out Brit for various reasons, but I think this was probably my favorite episode of Quiz Show ever, mostly because of her
Yeah....this might be my all-time favorite Sci-Show Quiz Show....my cheeks are sore from smiling and laughing....
Brit is awesome and she was amazing on HFS! More of her plz.
I loved the back and forth between brit and hank along with mike.... loved this episode so much.
Brit is an awesome person what an episode
Brit is my favorite contestant so far; so expressive!
Brit is my spirit scientist. the lack of consistency in SSQS is maddening, also don't tell my advisor that i watch SSQS.

This is my favorite episode. She is the best! Sorry Hank.
She is scaring me before the first question, and I love it, she is so intense and thoughtful. She is my favorite
13:04 Hanks chin monologue might be my new favorite thing
Brit is my new favorite person lol
I LOVE Brit! Please get her her own comedy show besides hosting scishow psych!
I LOVE how competitive she is! Especially the smack-talk. XD This was the BEST Sci-Show Quiz Show I've ever watched. Thank you for this!
13:13 “Put your hands on your face and feel the skull underneath and think: ‘I’m gonna be dead some day and it’ll just be my skeleton’”
“I had a lot of coke today”
This is far and away my favorite SciShow Quiz episode. I think it's also the only one I've even finished watching. Thanks.
I didn't get a commercial so I agreed with Michael when he said that was my favourite commercial
Brit is the most brutal competitor on SciShow. Doing the math and analytical research to win? That's impressive and kinda frightening...
Brit is so cool. Like, I love watching her host videos but it was awesome getting to see this side of her.
The SciShow office must be one of the best places to work! I love how much nerdy fun you guys have. Thank you!
I love Brit! She is so cool!
This has been my favourite scishow quiz show by far!
11:36 "night tiiiime.... DAY TIME!"
Who is the leopard king? What flavor punch? The lore of scishow quiz show continues to grow more complex!
This episode is hilarious, Brit has me dying
A tie over his hoodie? Hank's a gang member!
But seriously, It's rather fun to watch the SciShow people being more informal.
Brit is a gift :D This was such a funny episode ^^
All of you are fantastic! You folks crack me up and make learning fun!
Hahhaa omg I love Brit 😂😂😂😂 can't stop cracking up!!!
I don't what Brit did but shes HYPED as she's normally more chilled on psych and it's weird seeing her so bouncy
Only humans faint? But what about the fainting goats?
BeinDraug i was thinking this too
I don't think they truly faint as in lose consciousness. They fall over when startled because their muscles seize up
Correct sir! the condition is called myotonia congenita
They don't faint, they just seize.
Not all humans faint. I've never fainted in my life.
Brit owned the system big time.
Yeah, Brit is quite attractive and wicked smart. Her "quirks" are stupid awesome IMHO. 11/10 would give her awkwardly long hugs
I can relate with this aspect of Brit we are seeing here! Specially being in school I have this same kind of excitement for knowledge and competition relating to science! NERD ON GIRL!
This was very entertaining!
Thanks for sharing, guys
Brit moneyballed SciShow Quiz Show

Love it. Miss this show.
I will now be wearing all my hoodies with ties.
I just found scishow quiz show! You guys should TOTALLY bring it back!!!
It's great how much fun they have

“someday there’ll be no humans left to remember humans were here.”
no big deal.
Brit's awesome! This episode was great.
Got really suprised when it actually went to comercials. LOL. Great show. Keep it up.
First Quiz Show that I've seen completely
I love Brit's spunkiness in this show. You go girl!
I love how Brit's assertiveness sparked controversy in the comments
I wouldn’t call it that
13:00 thats y i love this guy. Also Brits competitiveness? Love it
I'm surprised the last question didn't contain something related essential for warfare. Because of phosphorus.
Been looking forward 2 this match-up. Now bring on Stefan & let him show Hank how it's done. lol ❤ u guys
I'm not surprised that Michael's tie smells good. I got a hug from him before one of Hank's shows and he smelled good then, even though it was hot outside. He was super sweet too! Sadly I didn't get to meet Hank but just meeting Michael was enough to make my whole week.
YAAAAAY! BRIT! LOL: thank you for being you 😂
You really divide the comment section - and I love it!
When Brit learned that the points don't matter and she just yelled "what!?" I felt that
Well played Brit :D you did your Math and you won, great game :D
This is by far my favourite Scishow quiz show 😆
She minmaxed Scishow Quiz Show! That’s fantastic!
She's definitely the best contestant I've seen in the show!
"Had a lot of coke today"
-Hank Green, 2017
Finally a competitor who uses some game theory in their final bid!
Also I have YTRed, so no ads. So "That was my favorite commercial" was even more hilarious
I don't really like the hostess of ScyShow Psych (maybe because I don't really like psychology), but she proved to be reeeeeally smart in this video.
5:14 Michael's face! XD

Why are nerdfighters so judgmental toward this girl, she is just having fun
What about the fainting goats?
Ah they're really human?
I love how sassy Brit gets when she's wrong.
Honestly just love watching Hank look so defeated at the end. It's adorable.
Damn! I think I’m in love! Brit is everything I adore in a person ❤️
I'm glad to find that so many people are with me!
I just love Brit's reactions to everything :D
So different from her SciShow Psych role!
I always LOVE when she goes off script! You can find her in the show called Holy Fuc*ing Science doing just that!
I think chins developed cause humans started walking upright and constantly faceplant, chins then develop to protect your teeth and noses becomes more prominent as well.
That was my initial thought, but people usually seem to hit their chins below the fleshy part when they faceplant.
I think this is the first one, where I have actually bursted into audible grinning. Well done!
I love Brit! She's the best!!!
