Hey, I have been following a lot of Excel Guru's out there but none of them have explained that well especially with VBA and macros. Your tutorial is simple and short. Thank you so much. Your fan in Papua New Guinea
Thank you so much for teaching this. I think VBA is very tough work before seeing your videos. But you teaching this simple. I try it with out errors .
Finally i had finished until custom navigation video (around 21 videos) and even i can do this pretty good until now as i had practiced good and done without watching the videos AGAIN and im doing well Thank you so much TIGER SPREADSHEET SOLUTIONS for the practical way of teaching!! really superb :-)
@@deepafrancis5148 Check out our Excel Userforms for Beginners series which has an example of a dropdown list in a userform - this may help. Good luck.

@Tiger Spreadsheet Solutions !! Thank you so much for this great video. I just came across your channel today and watched 10 different videos until midnight. You solved my years frustration in just few hours. I just can’t thank you enough. You deserve a million likes!!!!!
I once told my lecturer that there is a possible way to run VB in Excel though, but i had no clue how, he laughed at it. Well i got proof now. Thanks a mill* sir.
Good morning, Am new to VBA and am passionate of learning Thank you for that amazing video and the way explained it Will continue watching your videos and learn more about VBA
I am greeting a feel that this will be the best VBA teacher I've come across on YouTupe... I'm enjoying it already. Thank you so much for the wonderful first video. I watched a lot of videos and none of them takes time to explain the basics.
Taking numerical methods for chemical engineering and required to learn Excel VBA. I was totally clueless about excel let alone VBA prior to this video... Thanks for showing the basic stuff...
Awesome, You're "clear and concise". You move slow enough where I don't have to keep hitting stop, then I work my code and push start again. Highly recommend. Thank you
Too good to be true. Years of frustration and misunderstanding replaced by a meaningful understanding after one viewing of the beginner VBA videos. Thank you very much.
Ah - thank you. A lovely Christmas comment! Please do spread the word about the channel. Happy to hear the videos are helping people out there - remember there are plenty more on the channel :-)
Thank you so much! I'm taking a class where the professor knows so much she doesn't remember how much we might not know, and this is a VERY helpful video for catching me up :D
Abby, that's my biggest complaint about most people who attempt to train or teach - they don't seem to have a solid understanding of what foundations we need to learn in order to understand what they're trying to say. I'm liking this video series so far. It teaches the basics.
Love the way you explain each task and you have a nice clear voice!!!!! I was in shock that I understood what I was doing as I followed you....unlike others you just so sassy and smooth at explaining. Kudos !!! 😁😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗
Many thanks Ms. Vasquez. - I've never been called sassy and smooth before but I will try to channel that in future videos! Please check out the other videos on the channel and good luck :-)

Hi, great work. You were born to teach. Question. I have been trying to modify a code to update a whole column with a single click. Example - An annual price rise percentage. I have found a code and with a small adjustment I can highlight a cell and individually adjust each item with a click but this is quite a laborious time consuming task. I don't know if this is even possible, but watching you and seeing how powerful excel is I think it could be done just not by me. Anyway fantastic video.
Mark - many thanks! Wouldn't it be best to but the price rise % in a cell that cells in the columns reference, and then simply adjust the figure in the cell?
Tiger Spreadsheet Solutions Hi thank you very much for answering. I will have a go and see what I can do. After watching your film on the buttons I had it in my head that it would be fun to to click a button to change a whole column, not thinking there is probably a simpler work a round. It's quite addictive trying out new things on excel. One again thank you.
Mark - yes it is addictive. I always tell people to treat it as 'play' if at all possible; this should maximise learning and the quality of the spreadsheet solution. Good luck!
Thank you! You made this easy and non-frightening. My goal is to use code for scientific calculations at work and the macros will make it easy for end level users. I look forward to more of your instructions.
This guy has to come from a long ancestral lineage of renowned English instructors, professors, and documentary narrators. I need you to explain life for me too.
Happy New Year Year everyone Thanks for a great video. Very informative. Question: when you create a new module, will this work for all your workbooks/spreadsheets - or is it designated only towards the spreadsheet that was open at the time you designed the module?
Peps - happy new year to you too and thanks for the comment. No, code can work with any file. VBA can even open and close other files - it's super powerful but can cause problems if you are not sure which file or sheet is active. So, make sure you are explicit about the active file and active sheet. Again, this all comes with experience so don't let this consideration stop you practising! Good luck.
BTW Choose Tools ➢ Options to display the Options dialog box, ensure the Require Variable Declaration check box on the Editor page is checked, and then click the OK button to enable Option Explicit by default
Thank you so much. I have followed most of the video recordings and I have done some real startups with myself. However, I need some help with the VBA protocol. How can I share my worksheet with you?
