Hello All, This video is super helpful for a newbie like me. Anyway, I am assigned to build a VB Script/macros to perform the following (I have zero experience to build VB Script/macros) Let say I have excel file named Test.xlsm There are two sheets in the file Sheet 1 is list of items like the below (in reality this list is very long) Item # Description 100 ABC 102 XYZ ... ....
Sheet 2 is kind of lookup table like below
Item # Item Name 99 Test 99 100 Test 100 101 Test 101 102 Test 102 103 Test 103 ... .....
Here is my challenging: I need to build VB Script/Macros to run over the sheet 1 and replace (under Item # column) 100 by Test 100 102 by Test 200
As you see the script has to "go" over sheet 2 to look for item name that associated with Item #100 and replace "100" in sheet 1 by "Test 100" and "102" by "Test 102". I am wondering if someone has already done it and guide me to the right directions how to do it Thank you so very much.

I have the exact same thoughts. Over a month ago, I was binge watching Leila's Excel tutorials (I repeat, binge watch Excel tutorials). Then, I said to myself, enough for now. But, I guess, I have to catch up. LOL

:) it's challenging and fun & I agree, it's not something that makes perfect sense immediately. Takes a lot of revisiting and learning and re-watching to get the hang of it (at least it was for me) But once it clicks, it's really useful. It also helps with logical thinking and problem solving skills.
