Nobody's been "begging for first party games like the rumored 3d Mario". Nintendo fans have constantly been asking 3rd parties and indies if they're bringing their game to the Switch.
There's only a few people who only bought a switch for 1st party games and try to buy everything they can on other consoles, who hate that 3rd party / indie games want to support Nintendo, because that means that all the money they spent buying all those other platforms was a colossal waste, especially when the switch version of a third party game turns out better, more optimised, or "complete edition" of the game they had bought on some no-name-brand platform.

It happens every time Sony is in the news, and today, Sony's in the news for their PS5 controllers being (surprise, surprise) an exact copy of PS4 controllers functionally, but PS4 controllers not being compatible with the ps5. So as usual, sony fans are pretending to be toxic Nintendo fans just to try and bury that bad news under "but Nintendo fans are bad and they hate indies and third parties!"

@@isaacgutierrez139 To be fair, I've played literally every single Metroid game (huge fan) and as far as I can tell, none of them are nonlinear. There is always an exact order of things you have to do. It's just finding WHERE and HOW to do them that's the challenge.

Or maybe they didn't want to spend too much on voice actors. It's reasonable as long as the gameplay is exciting. Additionally, ancient creatures probably didn't have a language we could understand.
I hope like this guy is just narrating the whole thing like occasional hints but the most part telling us the story of what happened and talking. The voice acting is top notch and I want more lol.
