    I'm still wanting to get my hands on the 1st Techno, I'll be purchasing the Techno 2 after the holidays. Awesome video as always. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and the GP KNIVES family🎄🎄🎆🎇✨

      Both are well built and solid designs but I have to give the nod to the T2 for ergos and a slimmer more light weight design. Happy Yuletide! 🎄

    Damn good looking knife! Love GPKNIVES! Bought a lot of my knives from them. They have a great inventory and are a short drive from St. Louis Missouri.

      Yeah, they were discontinued so they are few and far between. Would be a cool candidate for a lightweight version though I found the handle to be a bit short for me.

    Can you speak on the TI? Looks more blasted than stonewashed. Is the TI more in line with the the Bowie or the Chef?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say more similar to the chef. Definitely stonewashed but I don't know what they do before they tumble so it could have been blasted before or could be acid to achieve the contrast.

    nice succinct review. found like 10 reviews but they were all in the 20 min range long. lot of gum flapping. appreciate you keeping it short!

    Had this knife briefly and returned it. I did the same thing with the Para 3. Both are just too short. I'm keeping my PM 2, still the best.

      Nothing works for everyone. I've had and handled a number of PM2s but some how they just never feel right whereas the Para 3 feels great. I roll with my Manix 2 LW for a larger blade.

    Steel lock bar interface or is it titanium on steel?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ti on steel like the original. The thickness/geometry of the lock bar makes it unnecessary.

    Rich man's CRKT Pilar. I keep my pilar.

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pilar is a great knife and all but this is a much different design. To each their own. I prefer a more svelte design myself but it you want compact and robust this'll do ya.

    The Techno 2 is not as interesting as the original.
    At least to me....

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To each their own. I'm not sure what prompted the switch from 1 to 2 but I would guess sales weren't strong enough on the 1 and they got customer feedback that led to the 2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      @@Gpknives the techno 2 blade is more like the original Mracins mouse folder.
