I LOVE this series or melodrama!!! I just wish I could find it in order, i.e., episode, followed by episode 2, et seq. Either that or I wish I read, spoke & understood Mandarin Chinese. I don't know if I am envious of the life of the Empress, Empress Dowager, Consort, Concubine, Noble Lady, et al, or if I pity them. I only know that I would be scared to eat or drink anything, even if I prepared it myself! I'd be driven mad by paranoia that someone was trying to constantly poison me.
