This show takes place in the time after Hercules meets Zeus as a teenager at his temple in the movie and is told by Zeus to go train with Phil. So this entire show is during Hercules training years with Phil, all the gods know about Hercules at this point. In the movie they skip past all of this, to him being an adult at the end of his training.
I love how Aphrodite had to check to see if Icarus and Cassandra were human knowing that humans were responsible for creating Satyrs and Centaurs
