I don't speak English but I seriously wanted to comment (so if something is wrong... it was the translator) in one chapter Zeus talked about a certain Danae, it seems that according to mythology He appeared as a shower of gold (just like what he wanted to give her in the chapter) and impregnated her, causing Perseus to be born, so it seems that poor princess Danae must already be pregnant Even though according to the series they are technically teenagers, and until now they have shown it as the first deception, now imagine when Hera finds out that the other is going to be a father.

What I really like is how well Hera is written. She comes off as mean and superficial, but deep down, she's extremely insecure and knows Zeus isn't faithful. Instead of ending things with him, she chooses to stay with him because she loves him AND cares about maintaining this perfect image of herself. Sure, Zeus and Hera talk about working on their relationship, but deep down, they don't trust each other. They had a chance to talk things out, but one conversation isn't going to solve their problems. It's sad cause now Hera is going to use underhanded means to keep an eye on Zeus while trying to hide the obvious flaws of their relationship. Little does she know that in the context of the series, everyone either knows or will find out about the true nature of their relationship, which basically means the facade she's creating is utterly pointless.

One thing this show nails is writing relationship drama. Both Zeus & Hera are written really well. I like how we get to see the former’s cheating & how it affects the latter first. (It’s the most well-known thing about the pair.) Now, we get a glimpse of the other side. Zeus cheats b/c Hera makes him feel unappreciated & small. It doesn’t excuse his actions, but them plus this dialog lets us know that he is deeply insecure. He feels like he doesn’t measure up to his father. He’s drawn to Hera b/c she always seems so strong & put together. He wants to be that. (Little does he know it’s just a facade.) On the other hand, we have Hera. Now, at first, she just seems mean & shallow, but the truth is she's extremely insecure in her position, & thus overly conscious of her image. To boost & preserve said image she stays w/ Zeus. It’s all about staying on top of the social hierarchy. Moreover, the social stakes are much higher when your social life is for eternity. Hera knows that. She isn’t allowed to have a flaw, b/c having one means she loses her place at the top. It’s honestly exhausting just to think about. Worst of all? In the end, it’s all pointless. Everyone will find out the truth about them eventually. Mortals included. Thus, causing all of Hera’s possessive actions to be for nothing.

In Greek mythology I always felt sorry for Hera. She wasn't cynical or vindictive before she met Zeus. She was prideful but has every right to be since she is a Goddess of Marriage and protector of women, family and childbirth. She was a figure head to humanity especially women hence reputation to her is everything since they seek her. Just wish in this animation series she goes a different path and leaves Zeus.
It's nuts how much each episode improves on the previous one in every regard. Animation, sound effects, background music, character movement, little details, it's really cool.
I love how they add some mythology accuracy lol Hera getting easily mad Zeus turning into a bird (which was how he tricked Hera into marrying him lol) And Hera calling Zeus a player🤣
this really summarized the toxicity of their relationship well but also how Hera was really such a psycho and the fact that she would stop at nothing to off Zeus's victims (the women he tricked and the children produced)

I just discovered this series an hour ago thanks to an IG reel and I'm so glad i did it! It's an amazing show! I can't wait for more content, so far my favorite characters are Aphrodite, Persephone, Hades, Eris and actually Hera, she is really well written and this episode portrayed really well his relationship dynamics with Zeus, so realistic. All of the character desings are gorgeous! This needs to be picked by some major platform, we don't have enough greek mythology content outhere.
So glad to see this continuing! Worth the wait- and so well done. The animation is top notch, and I love the fact that you don't shy away from showing the toxicity in their relationship (or others.) People really gloss over that aspect of Greek lore if they don't know it deeply- it's rather sad how many people hold them up on a pedestal when in reality, the people who dreamed up the stories were looking for DRAMA based on Human interactions instead of some shiny fluffy story about perfect people.
Everything about this episode was perfect. The beginning makes a reference to the Mean Girls movie and at the same time is faithful to the story of the gods, the toxic relationship between Zeus and Hera being shown like a teen movie. How creative the creator is, he uses current and old things and brings them together in the present in a magical way.

Wow. I am scared for Echo and Hera’s peacock. This excellent short video implies a lot of greatness. Hera is a great actress around Zeus and a vixen around Echo. Also, Athena and Aphrodite are great besties to be around to handle anything, especially Hera’s nasty demeanor. Bravo to this series!

Such a great episode! Your art and storytelling get better and better. I love that you dived deeper into Hera's character and the relationship with Zeus and why they don't just break up. That's a perfect explanation to me why they would stay together. I never understood that in the mythological stories, but you made it understandable. I also adore how you show Hera's state of mind with her outfits and make-up. Moreover, it is great how you show the toxic behaviour of both of them, and how that works. Zeus really was good at playing the innocent and because we know that Hera is obsessed with him, at one point, I really felt pity for him and it was wonderful to see why he doesn't just break up with her. They are both very bad for each other but they can't break out. To make it short: I truly love your art! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Worst of all? In the end, it’s all pointless. Everyone will find out the truth about them eventually. Mortals included. Thus, causing all of Hera’s possessive actions to be for nothing.

@@Hannagiris It’s not contradictory at all. I agree w/ you completely. What I was trying to imply is that Hera was already insecure in her position at the top due to regular status drama, & Zeus’s cheating made it worse. I get now that I didn’t do a good job there.

In Greek mythology I always felt sorry for Hera. She wasn't cynical or vindictive before she met Zeus. She was prideful but has every right to be since she is a Goddess of Marriage and protector of women, family and childbirth. She was a figure head to humanity especially women hence reputation to her is everything since they seek her. Just wish in this animation series she goes a different path and leaves Zeus.
THE VOICE ACTING IS ALSO SO GOOODDDD
It's nuts how much each episode improves on the previous one in every regard. Animation, sound effects, background music, character movement, little details, it's really cool.

I just discovered this series an hour ago thanks to an IG reel and I'm so glad i did it! It's an amazing show! I can't wait for more content, so far my favorite characters are Aphrodite, Persephone, Hades, Eris and actually Hera, she is really well written and this episode portrayed really well his relationship dynamics with Zeus, so realistic. All of the character desings are gorgeous! This needs to be picked by some major platform, we don't have enough greek mythology content outhere.
The animation and the writing are AMAZING! The fact that everyone sees how toxic they are to each other means you're doing your job right!

So glad to see this continuing! Worth the wait- and so well done. The animation is top notch, and I love the fact that you don't shy away from showing the toxicity in their relationship (or others.)
People really gloss over that aspect of Greek lore if they don't know it deeply- it's rather sad how many people hold them up on a pedestal when in reality, the people who dreamed up the stories were looking for DRAMA based on Human interactions instead of some shiny fluffy story about perfect people.
Everything about this episode was perfect. The beginning makes a reference to the Mean Girls movie and at the same time is faithful to the story of the gods, the toxic relationship between Zeus and Hera being shown like a teen movie. How creative the creator is, he uses current and old things and brings them together in the present in a magical way.
I’m waiting for Hera finding the Burn Book and writing everything she said about Eris or Athena being a sneaky little beetch or something

Wow. I am scared for Echo and Hera’s peacock. This excellent short video implies a lot of greatness. Hera is a great actress around Zeus and a vixen around Echo. Also, Athena and Aphrodite are great besties to be around to handle anything, especially Hera’s nasty demeanor. Bravo to this series!

Such a great episode! Your art and storytelling get better and better. I love that you dived deeper into Hera's character and the relationship with Zeus and why they don't just break up. That's a perfect explanation to me why they would stay together. I never understood that in the mythological stories, but you made it understandable. I also adore how you show Hera's state of mind with her outfits and make-up. Moreover, it is great how you show the toxic behaviour of both of them, and how that works. Zeus really was good at playing the innocent and because we know that Hera is obsessed with him, at one point, I really felt pity for him and it was wonderful to see why he doesn't just break up with her. They are both very bad for each other but they can't break out. To make it short: I truly love your art! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
