Watching you learn was so much fun - I had forgotten how wonkey I was at the beginning with bruised shins from the damned thing spinning out under me and the foot-plates cracking my ankles and legs. Many scrapes later, it was all worth it, right?
Congrats on buying a new EUC. The former one doesn't look as a good choice anyway. I made the same mistake once and forgot to put isolating piece under MosFETs. Also, it's very unsafe to turn the wheel on until you screw the motor and controller board to the chassis. It's better to connect battery port on contoller to the charger via adapter for test purpose. Don't connect it directly to the battery until you totally sure you assembled everything correctly.
That's a good idea with the battery charger, then there won't be such a rush of current. I'll do that next time xD I don't like the design of this old EUC, hard to work with it partially assembled.. The new one is better in many ways, also higher top speed :D
:-) The Mosfets probably never have been defect ....because as long as the wheel moves they are not. And: NEVER work yourself on a motherboard...alsways buy a complete new one. I would higly suggest that you buy a „real“ electric unicycle, because the one you own now is tech from 2015/2016 and is considered just a „toy“ and no real vehicle. ACTUAL electric unicycles have about 10 times the power and are much, much more reliable, faster, more powerful and safe! Do no safe money on the wrong side, Just my 2 cents....
Thanks for the advice, sounds like you have deep pockets, at the moment I can't spend much money on EUCs, I just happy I am able to ride EUCs for cheap. I would love to buy an actual EUC one day :)
@@BagheeraTube I totally understand, when no money is available, i am also not rich. The point i wanted to make is, that actual EUCs are just much safer, they dont „cutout“ anymore....and can not be overpowered that easily.
