He never embrace the celebrity craziness. My Hero Ace. His memory will forever live on. They thought they silence him but the opposite happen. Thank you for this video ACE. 👍

Every parish in Jamaica has its own history, when your in Kingston its more of a party style plus work ,so the streets of Kingston is always busy but when you visit the north coast its a different lifestyle, You put those two together and there you have this beautiful island of Jamaica, We have our problem has do many countries but that don't take away from the fact that this island is special

so I visited this just a few years after Bob's death and it was a totally different place then - it is a shame to see how commercialised the placed has been made - we were not charged to visit the home but left a donation to the village / Hamlet. It was nice to have seen the area as it was so soon after we lost Bob, to have seen the Hamlet just as it was and not what it has become for tourists.

Yeah the wall was put up so people can have peace on the tour. There Was a couple that was on the tour with us that drove there by themselves. Although there wasn't a lot of people there it was because of what happened in 2020 everything kind of slowed down but things are slowly getting better again. In previous reviews prior to visiting the tour I did read a lot of people saying that it was not wise to go there without a tour guide because sometimes people can get aggressive. Which explains the wall. But I do agree your experience seems to be way better cause the wall can be distracting but it is necessary. But I want you to understand once you pass those doors where you stop filling about filming things change drastically but that's an experience I can't share you have to see it for yourself.

ACE there is so much more for you to learn about Bob Marley, I am from St. Ann, I went home one year in the late 80's and took my Parents to Bob Marleys house where he was born, just the little house and his relatives were there, my parents did not realized that Rasta was real People. I will never forget that day they cooked for us and I watched my parents enjoyed what the Rasta Man cooked. They told me many thanks for the enlightening of the Rastafarians. So from that day my father called me his Star. Then I took my Husband to meet Bob Marley when he came to San Diego. What a beautiful world and beautiful people we all are. Bless Up Yu Self.

So much to celebrate about our peoples ("Out of many...) and our nation. Thanks, Ace! Love you openness to embracing many cultures.🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲❤️

👑 Bob Marley was a prophet sent from the most high to enlighten the people in righteousness 😢, he was like Christ who also came with a message that the rulers were not comfortable with, for he would of enlightenment the people, but this would of caused a problem for the elite who wanted to have power over the people and did not want the people to rise up. All Jamaicans should be listening to Bobs words today and make Jamaica a better place. EMANCIPATE YOURSELF FROM MENTAL SLAVERY ♥️ Wake Up Jamaica 🇯🇲 ♥️🙏🏽

Awesome vlog. I loved it now I wanna take a trip to Jamaica and visit Bob's home. What the gentleman was saying about the Rasta culture is very true. Go to the rasta man or Woman and they have the natural herbs to heal you and they do not eat meat. I grew up with Bob Marleys music as a child, I was born after he died ('82 baby) but my father always played his music. Thanks for sharing 🇻🇮 hope you get to visit the U.S.V.I

One day Lord willing I will be able to visit the site myself. I cry when I think of how I could have met him after college. The song I sang while in school so long I didn't know he & the Wailers sang.
Thanks for the video he is still truly admired, & thought of so highly. Jah love.
We must remember the Lord God Almighty controls our being. And all are here in our own time, by His command!
We have to be taught & learn the truth of God, obey His commands, & only then will we know why we are on this earth.
I believe Bob N. Marley knew.
    Stay safe, stay blessed!

i feel that maybe Dennis Brown or Jacob Miller would break reggae into the mainstream world they were in the same generation of artists after peter tosh and jimmy cliff and burning spear ❤

Check out chronixx !! Some say he’s the new age Bob Marley!! Koffee is also putting/has put Morden reggae on the map as well !! And lots more like jah cure , Richie spice , gyptian etc !! And ofc men like garnet silk , berres , Peter tosh , Glen Washington, barington levi, sizzla from the more upcoming era around Bob time !! Very cool video I’ve never really seen any one did a Bob Marley tour in Jamaica mostly it’s just about the beaches, waterfalls , food and other cultures in Jamaica! 🇹🇹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 blessings ❤️ 💛 💚 🦁

"Cold ground was my bed last night, and rock my was pillow too" - Honored to have paid my respects to Bob in 9 Mile on 2 different occasions. It's disappointing in a way how commercialized it has become since my first visit in 2009. .

Bob was the king , Dennis was the prince, crowned prince of reggae they used to call him. Furthermore , Garnet silk was supposed to be the next Jamaican reggae king , but sadly died in a house fire trying to save his mama
