But regardless of what you do, you don't ever loose 4 diamond pursuit until you climb the ladder. I like to think these types were intentionally lured into the sewers by Rais, and starvation made them unable to use their toxic spit or the majority of their strength, but starvation has left them with an insatiable hunger for human flesh, even throwing themselves off the platform on every attempt to get you... just a cool thought

There are so many different Volatile types in the code that I actually gave up trying to figure out which was which All I remember is that alphas are called Blue Volatiles in the code and that "volatile" is always spelt wrongly in said code
also also about the carnage where crane landed? was a Volatile nest remember the hunter nests the volatile has carnage sticked around the waist and you would know that those carnage contained alot of volatiles nesting
Until you start playing with 3 friends and go all out, guns blazing at night. Really fun to try to survive the whole night while killing as many volatiles as possible. Everyone gangsta until you have to fight a couple mutated volatiles at once...

Three years ago I did a 6-hour race in the middle of July that started at 6 p.m. and ended at midnight. My ultimate goal was to get 20 miles before it ended. When I was a half a mile away I had 30 minutes to get the last half mile, which is much harder after running so much in extremely hot conditions. I cranked up this song, and the feeling I got being under that much pressure, yet hitting my goal with about 20 minutes to spare was unbelievable. As odd as it might be, it's a great song to pull up if you're in any pressure situations.

The old version had a more intense drumming beat to it with some additional instruments and extra vocals; this can be heard noticeably in the first gameplay reveal. Apparently its file is still in the game somewhere because one of those map creators found it and placed it in a custom map called "Climb down to 21".

I play Dying Light almost exclusively on Nightmare now with 0 Gamma. When I first got to this segment in the sewers on nightmare, I died like 6 or 7 times because I didn't max my agility level, which was much better than just cheesing it with a night hunter booster and running past everyone at max speed. For the first time in a long time, it felt good to finish that part, as it wasn't just another obstacle. It was a fight for My life and Crane's life.
This piece makes me feel how awesome runners really are in such a hazardous world where any normal survivor wouldn't last a minute. Especially a runner like Crane who uses so many skills and tools to survive even in the night. While the night is never safe, a high level runner can survive out there unlike the rest with the use of the right tools and skills. Remember to keep moving and never slow down.

Funny fact, on my first playthrough I also got it on my first try. Played the game later probably like 5 times, never again have I got it on the first try. I guess when you play this for the first time you get such a stress-provoked adrenaline rush that your senses are just all heightened

I absolutely love the Middle Eastern instruments and vocals used here. Really gives the feeling of running from the horde of infected; who were possibly once decent people, underneath the shadow of the once beautiful city of Harran.
I absolutely adore the Middle Eastern vocals and instruments too! I can’t help but feel that within the infected bodies are conscious human minds. Especially when you see in parts of the game where the infected show human characteristics. Or, I suppose, in this case - anthropomorphic traits. Come to think of it - growing up watching zombie movies and playing zombie games I had always seen the zombies or the infected as the enemy. Until playing this game I never really thought about the human trapped within the dying corpse as what we call the infected.
While many of the infected are scary or gross, I think they should also be pitied above all else. They were just normal people driven crazy by mutated rabies. Crane is actually helping them by ending their suffering. It’s really tragic to see them like that. Especially the screamers, hearing them cry and scream in horror at the sight of Crane is both unsettling and heart wrenching; and hearing the bombers writhe in agony from their guts being on the brink of exploding is really disturbing as well. It Just shows you how merciless the Harran virus is. They are victims.
What I love must about this soundtrack is the vocals, she has an amazing voice. It’s as if her scream is activating your instincts to just run and get the hell out of where you are-just like in the part of the game where the soundtrack is used for
Use ziplines and high ground to stay ahead of the pursuing Volatiles. Avoid groups of zombies, as they will slow you down, and pits, as they are big enough to instantly kill Crane.
Never has a game made you feel so badass and terrified at the same time. Parkouring like you can't in real life, but STILL an air hair away from death!
Even if they want human enemies the main part of dying light 2, i hope the volatiles and other zombies still play a big part in the game, especially the night of course.

Try do a escape challenge : Jogging with this ost without pause / you stop jog. Otherwise you got killed by volatile.
