    It is a wonderful service. Although it might not be perfect in all musical aspects, it has great authenticity and depth. A wonderful worship!

    I sang on this performance; strangely I don't remember the anthem "The plum-and-wasp is boiling in the kitchens". Maybe just getting old. :-)

    Not much given to compliments, I found this interesting vocally (except fo the basses), musically and for the repertoire.
    It's very difficult to maintain a boy and men's choir in such a small provincial town. Seivewright did a wonderful job.

      The Canticles (Walford Davies in G) were also performed on the album 'O Worship the Lord' recorded in by Carlisle Cathedral choir April 1981. In my opinion (due to better microphone placement) I appreciate the album recording a little more.
