It was a close one for perfection that's for sure. Could have swayed either way with a few different dice roles. I think the lernaean's wiping out the assault squad put them in a lot of trouble. otherwise, they might have had a chance to do significantly more damage in the EC back line.

AL players myself, was glad to see you running the Headhunters with combi-weapons and also the lack of armor, though I daresay you could have benefitted from a Scorpius yourself to bust up some of the EC troops concentrations. Also-- I was a bit surprised to see that some of your bases were trailing off the board edge -? Around 31:19 when the AL Tac squad was trying to get away from the inevitable large blast template. Amazing looking armies and the board is superb. I like to see a lot of scenery. We tend to do something similar with the only gaps being wide enough for a Land Raider.

I think the turn thing goes both ways. 4 turns is deffo something they did to speed up events/ games for events and it does benefit some legions. However , the 6 turns also benefits some legions. It allows the big shooty legions to sit back and blast for a few turns and still allow time to move onto objs at games end when opponent is badly beaten. My guess is who you play/ what legions you see in your gaming groups will have an effect on which number you prefer for turns
Both are valid points. It would be interesting to try something like 4 turns, 5th on 2/3+, 6th of 5/6+. Would make strategy come more into play. Might have to test that here.
Yes, they were a very big deterrent in the AL force. It didn't see combat, but it did its job of completely denying access to Jason's backfield. I'm sure you'll see them dishing out their full glorious carnage in future videos 😉

TBF, there was no intent to have their bases hanging off, that particular terrain piece was knocked about a couple times during filming!

Thanks for the support. Unit coherency is 2", so the AL Las boys were good. We've made some nifty little guages to quickly check coherency as well 😉
