I love Jianbing! I won't ever forget the first time I tried this in front of my apartment in China. The best streetfood! Could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The jian bing that I encounter are more like korean pancakes with the ingredients all mixed in the flour batter. This is more like a crepe with ingredients added after the pancake is done. :)
That Jiangbing looks pretty good! I'd like to try one. I've seen Blondie in China rave about it too. I wonder if you can get them at Chicago's Chinatown restaurants? That's the closest Chinatown to me.
Is it supposed to be vegetarian only? Would be more interesting if they could put some meat in it - like a crispy burrito! Good video though and interesting history to this particular food. Subscribed!
