Hi Jean. Do most of the food outlets and eateries in Shanghai accept cash payments? If not, what’s the most convenient payment mode for foreigners, including Singaporeans?
hi hi Boon Cheng! So sorry i'm like 4 months late to this comment hahaha.... actually before we went we heard a lot of talk that cash wasn't accepted but that wasn't true on the ground. We had some occasional problems w Alipay but we always managed to settle with cash in those cases! but Alipay + WISE app was our go to for most payments lah
