    I watched several videos on replacing Civic rear drum shoes (and wheel cylinders) and this was by far the best. Thanks!!!!!

    Nice video. I changed my honda civic 2013 brake shoe same way. Tips for beginner: first remove the adjuster spring. That is not that hard. Then remove both side anchor pin and mounting clips and then lift the both shoes from bottom slots and then remove the bottom spring without any tension on it. After that just slide the both shoes upward and you can easily remove the top spring and adjuster. I followed same guide in this video for new shoes. I just used screw driver and simple plier for whole replacement process.
    Thanks you for great video. 😊

    When I bought my used 2011 Lx it had Drums, something told me get Discs on the rear Seriously a lil small voice said get Discs. I never looked back. It's so much easier with Disc brakes! Thank God!

    also, if you can't remove the drum because it's baked tight...the two holes on the drum are for the M8/1.25 bolts...screw it in and keep going until you separate the drum. You can use one or two at the same time.

    I don’t understand how you’re supposed to re adjust the adjuster lever after you’ve installed the drum. Do you just leave them fully loosened? Because if you tighten them back you can’t fit the drum back on, but if you don’t tighten them back you have no braking power. Please help

    Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for this video! I found out to my amazement I had these drum brakes on my 2012 and while it took much more than 15 minutes as well as a whole lot more cuss words I got the job done. Also a thousand curses upon that top retention spring. Y'all make it look so easy and I just about decided to cut it off before it finally slipped out of it's hole and was replaced with a brand new spring.

    Brakes have no pressure. Bleeding doesnt help. Whats the issue?

    • @TRQ

      +@khairt1731 We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

    Use a shop vac or compressed air to spray out and clean the dust off everything. Never ever do what this guy did in the video. You do not want brake cleaner or parts cleaner getting in or around the rubber seals on the little piston in there.

      Haynes repair manual does not recommend to use air to blow

    • @LawfulBalcony2
      @LawfulBalcony2 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What I learned is for brake drums only, use brake clean at first so dust doesn’t aerosolize because in many cases the brake dust is harmful and can contain asbestos so never use compressed air
