- * I made a remaster of this video, you can watch it here: • A Tribute to Bloodborne :D
I can usually tell what I like or don't like about a game and why I like it or not, but that's not the case with Bloodborne. I just can't express the love I feel for it, and as much as I can spend a lot of time thinking about the perfect words to describe it, I'll leave that for you. Share in the comments your thoughts about this masterpiece, I'd love to know your experiences!
"Bloodborne is like a friend to me, the kind of friend that makes you sure things are gonna be okay."
- ShinigamiEater
and if you enjoyed the video, please consider giving it a like! it was really tough to make since I edit on the cell phone, I know it's far to be perfect, but I tried my best. anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

Now we only nee a remaster for the actual game
Aye. The night and the dream were long. Aye the age of fire burned longer then it should’ve. My friends, we’ve been Chosen undead, Bearers of the Curse, Unkindled Ash, Good Hunters and Lonely Wolves. We’ve soared to the heights of Anor Londo and delved to the Depths of the Chalice dungeons. We’ve met every challenge with an unbreakable will to rival that of a certain Wolf Knight. and now as we head into a new world with new trials I beg you to Hearken unto that which we’ve accomplished. To the bonds forged and the Prey Slaughtered. So what do you say, Tarnished? Shall we venture forth together into this new realm together?
I'm not able to type such a deep text with a deep meaning, but indeed, my friend.
we lived all of this, and now we have a new world to conquer.
may the good blood guide our ways fellow hunter, because in just a few days we're going to be part of something bigger, and of course, we'll do that together.
Please stop you are breaking my heart
This is beautiful. We all have different lives, beliefs, feelings, but we are all fellow hunters.
You forgot the hero of Demon's Souls. The one who wanted to save that land and be remembered as a hero. He had a heart of gold.
@@Halberick .....while you write such moving text, i'm still waiting for a PC porting to play this masterpiece🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
The game that saved my life. I’ll see you all in the morning light, my fellow hunters.
May you find worth in the waking world
And let this all become just a long forgotten dream
What do you mean that it save your life?
@@smoker5989 It was the first Souls Game I ever beat, I often times chose to stay home and play it instead of going out to do pills with my “friends.” My love for that game that they use to make fun of me for actually is part of why I won over an ex-girlfriend of mine as the passion I had behind showing it to her and explaining the lore of the game/how the lore of the game helped with my depression is something she adored about me. Even though the relationship didn’t work out we were together for 4 years and she made me a better man. The community and people I met within it also helped me grow as a person. I can go on and on, but if I never downloaded that game I would NOT be here right now; or who I have become at the least.
@@raymondkubiak1044 i love hearing stories like this. makes me happy to be apart of this community
After my fathers passing.. I sold my bike and got a ps4.. I was out of gaming since school. I had no idea.. I thought ill play some racing games, a bunch of shooters to pacify my mind and stay away from emotional stress. And then the first game without knowing anything about it i bought was Bloodborne.... It was a privelge fellow hunters to hunt with you... to slay you in Mergos loft, to assist and invade... and to know, after all i love fashion souls too.. And that though the nights may be long, souls maybe dark, unkindled or lost humanity - there is a warrior in all of us.. Godspeed Fellow Hunters.. May the good blood guide your way.. The music still haunts and I get still get chills when i hear those boots, tbose footseps treading to slay... ❤
Still my all time favorite game, even after the release of Elden Ring. This world will always hold a special place in my heart.
Same here, elden ring is a close second but I don't think it has the capability to pull me into its world and immerse me into the lore and settings that Bloodborne does so beautifully
same here! Elden Ring is like an enhanced Dark Souls title and really shines in that aspect. However, Bloodborne's lore, characters and setting still appeal to me more :) (and I think it has more replayability, especially the DLC)
it was your first from soft too I see
@@CostasSavvides Funny thing is DS2 was my first fromsoft game, Bloodborne just hits differently though
yup I agree
It's not just a game, it's also a way to fight against life and escape from it at the same time. They are not just games, they are feelings, experiences and a salvation from this dry reality in which we live because, despite everything, just like the hunter, we must rise from sleep and continue fighting our own beasts.
such beautiful words to read friend, beautiful to read indeed. couldn't agree more with every single one of them. may the good blood guide your way!
@@Halberick Thanks dude
Completely agree 🖤
I love this community
So very well said.. *Deep Respect* And remember, "A Hunter is Never Alone." 🖤
I really love this. I think I realized this game was truly special when I discovered Gascoigne's story, and his whole family's tragic fate. I love the fact that the player never gets to know the truth about Viola : did Gascoigne kill her, or did he go mad after finding her dead body ? Both options are equally tragic, and I think Gascoigne's story really sets the tone for the whole game. It's a real masterpiece.
It truly hurt when I saw the older sisters body at the bottom of the latter after giving her her sister's blood stained ribbon. It felt like I was personally responsible for both their deaths even though there was nothing that could have been done. No way I could have know.
@@ravenclaw3439 the night's long, and full of beasts. You'll become one of them, sooner or later
I lean towards him finding her there. First time we see Gascoigne he is hitting a corpse over and over again. It could be the beast that killed Viola.
“Beasts all over the shop, you’ll be one of them sooner or later” father gascoigne
@@nenadmilovanovic5271 i think so too
Bloodborne is by far the best game From Software did. This isn't a game, this is a Masterpiece. Of all Times I could've been born, I was born just right to witness Bloodborne
Which is why it baffles me that it’s the only form soft game that lacks 60fps :(
The eyes see stuff better at 30 fps, and high fps makes games easier anyway
@@ididntaskverified3663 That has to be a joke right? Get your eyes checked buddy
Apparently you never took classes in tv production or film
@@ididntaskverified3663 yeah, movies and series are different you clown
Love the game hate the endings not because they were bad but because I knew my journey the hours the raging the happiness the beautiful storytelling was….. over.
Also because it leaves us at cliff hangers
@@-mr.cthu-128 just play ng+ 5head
I felt that the first time... but when I got to the platinum it really struck with me.... I cried so bad
The part with Ludwig at 3:26 gave me chills, the way the music cuts out a bit after he says his line is perfect
I'm so glad someone noticed that!
Bloodborne has literally saved me from depression
Ironic considering the dark and depressing world and story of bloodborne.
It's a masterpiece tho
"A corpse should be left well alone" 🥀 🖤💔
An old Powder keg Hunter said these beasts are still people. He’s right. They are. And they’re in pain and must be laid to rest.
This game is my all time favorite. The story demonstrates the folly of making power our only focus, as so many different factions strive to ascend to the status of great one, but in the end, they all fail, and everyone ends up as mindless beasts, or worse. It shows us to be content with what we have and what we are, and to realize that we are who we are for a reason, and we don't need to ascend to some superhuman version of ourselves to be valued in this world. Gascoigne's daughter at the beginning of the tribute brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for this
I agree with every single one of your words. and thank you for sharing that. I'm glad you felt something while watching, I definitely got emotional while editing too.
this game is a masterpiece.
It also shows that to ignore the physical, the mental, the spiritual, any aspect of life is folly. The scholars sought liberation of the Mind from the Body, the Church sought to elevate the body, and the soul, but was ignorant of the Eldritch Truthes and their dangers, and the hunters ignored the soul, honor decency, in pursuit of the old blood in the village of Kosm.
All of them fell, because they lacked something, the 'Good Hunter' is strong of mind and body, and in the ascendance ending pursues awakening and secrets without giving into madness or seeking an 'easy' way out.
Besides that, they do it having come there a weakened person, unable to carry on and seeking salvation, but in the end they saved Themselves, the game shows that rather than trying to 'transcend yourself' the only way to Ascendence...is to elevate yourself, to become the better You through effort and perseverance, that no matter how strong the 'medicine' the only true cure...comes from within you.
None of those who don't play these games understand what these games are to us who do play them. To us, they are a life we never lived, yet we still experienced through the eyes of the characters we play as. They are a life we lived, even if we didn't Live it.
Couldn’t agree more. My latest play through of Bloodborne had me follow a subconscious story for my character. From making a pure strength build for the lols, to fighting every corner of the world to prove that strength. Trying other weapons for the fun of it but always going back to the Kirk hammer when in a tough spot. Just wanting to collect the beast claws for fun and wanting to see them at their most powerful.
Falling in love with the Claws, boosting them up so high. Feeling their power when tearing through bosses and upgrading them in the DLC. Fighting pvp with them but could never beat the guy with Gehrman’s Scythe. Continuing the story up to Mergo’s Wet Nurse and killing her with aggressive ease from the claws. Now finally walking up to Gehrman for the second to last fight, but… I couldn’t. I wanted to see the strength carry on and beat him and declare myself Great One of Beasts. But talking to him and his mercy. I knelt. In my final moments, I didn’t feel that strength. I felt the weakness of giving myself up to the beast.
I wanted to continue that character in new game + but I couldn’t. He chose humanity in the end. He chose rest. I can’t believe that a game made me so emotional over a initial meme build but. It happened and I couldn’t be happier for it.
Even though Elden Ring is Fromsoft's magnum opus, Bloodborne still has a perfect place in my heart.
It is by far their best game. Elden Ring is good, but it doesn't hold a candle to Bloodborne IMO.
Elden Ring just has many holes, great first playthrough but if you're a fan and consistently play it, ER is one of their worst games which ironically still makes it a decent game by default lol
I always considered it the other way round
@@Sohelanthropus I agree it's not as fun to replay as the other souls games only the first playthrough is really fun
I still haven't picked up Elden Ring because I'm satisfied with the Souls content we have. Whenever I think "maybe I should get Elden Ring" I just boot up Dark Souls or Bloodborne and that urge goes away. To be honest, Elden Ring didn't make the mechanical leap I'd hoped for so my hype died as soon as I saw gameplay of it. I'll pick it up eventually, I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but I'll wait for the price to come down a bit first.
Miyazaki outdid himself with this one
I can’t watch the beginning minute without shedding tears for Gascoigne’s daughter.
My first soul's game.... No regrets
Greatest game of all time in every aspect. Getting bloodborne themed tattoo today purely for the sentimental value this game has for me. Thanks From Software
that's awesome friend! I plan on getting one in the next few years too. this game is a pure masterpiece, and it was really important for me as well
@@Halberick hell yeah bro! Great edit, thanks for this.

Easily Fromsoft's best game. They truly peaked with this gem. Elden Ring is a close second, but it just doesn't hit the same.
This game helped me a rough time and is a masterpiece. This is actually making me tear up lol.
It's *not* just a game - it's legacy, masterpiece, a little piece of soul, what we have searched for so long, and finally have found, at least for me - Bloodborne is the game which I've searched for so long
Me too my friend me too glad you found it ❤🎉
No game made me cry like bloodborne did, a masterpiece this game is
Man, even the thought of ending the game, made me cry on my first playthrough.
Omg this make me wanna cry .. i spend more than 700 hr in this game
Never hv been regret it .
I miss this .. we have been grown so fast .
3:50 that shot with the Shadows of Yharnam emerging from the fog gave me chills! Bloodborne is every Horror fan's dream game and only Fromsoft could have pulled it off.
The most sad thing after killing Gehrman the message says prey slaughtered he is no longer a Hunter
The game I have tattooed on my body. Thank you, Miyazaki.
There will never be another Bloodborne.
I'm sharing this as much as I can with my friends. You did a really nice job with this.
thanks friend! I hope they can enjoy it as well!
This game is one of my favorite inspirations for creating a dark world. I wish the game would never end.

That shot with the moon presence descending and the player hunter with his hand outstretched is iconic
this hit my emotions hard. Bloodborne got me through Covid, Isolation, Loneliness. Thank you for making this video, this will forever be my all time favorite game.

Bloodborne will go down in gaming history as one of the best games ever
We are all born by the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood, fear the old blood
Earlier this year, I was in a really bad place mentally, with school, myself and all sorts. This game was how I escaped my problems, coming home every day and getting lost in yharnam. Thank you Miyazaki, you saved me ❤
Bloodborne is more than a game, its an experience
I said I will keep coming back and always commenting because you did a great job. This game charmed me. I fell in love with it so much. Great tragedy.
I'm an old timey gamer that grew up w the Atari 2600, and Bloodborne is no doubt the best game I've ever played. Even though From have been making the same game since King's Field, and just adding more bells and whistles, it's like watching a Model T evolve into a Lamborghini Diablo over the years. Bloodborne is the Buick Grand National of the gaming world. Always a beast.
From a young gamer to a relatively older one, I'm glad you have joined us on the night of the hunt. See you in the morning, hunter, when the Presence is slain and we all awaken together and see light
My favorite game, I know that have Elden ring and others but, this game saved my life, I was thinking about end it all but, then I buy this game and started, started playing the difficult, the gratification of learning how to play, hearing the histories, everything, made me feel better and more motivated, now I'm playing dark souls 3
The night is long and it was the best night of my life, I’m glad so many had joined me in the endless hunt.
Every time I find myself in a strange point in life and I can't really make heads or tails, I open up bloodborne, or any from game really but bloodborne is a masterpiece in its own right, and just kill a few beasts, it turns out to be for my own good, you know it's just what I do to get through life.
a hunter is a hunter even in the darkest of nights I see...keep on your hunts friend, and may the good blood guide your way
this is my fav youtube vid of all time
Hearing the voice of the little girl freaking breaks me, I don't know why I'm so emotional
“I tell you I will not forget our adage”
I nearly cried. Beautiful. All the voices of the tragedies across yharnam. Seeing them all go mad, become beasts or die. Thank you for an amazing experience
I will see you all at the coming of the morn. Thank you.
It is not just a game it's a masterpiece and she will always the best of all time
Came here from the Dark Souls Tribute. U did a really good job with this, definitely deserves more views¬
thank you friend, I really hope more Bloodborne fans have the opportunity to see this, think they'll like it too!

Its not just a game.... its a masterpiece we've been waiting for.... let the hunt continue fellow hunters!!
Its once in a lifetime MASTERPIECE💔
2023 and I still playing...
The Hunt continues.
Hello my good hunter
ooopa! Tio do ramen, também conhecido como a criatura mais forte do multiverso, como é que tá?
I remember the first time playing this after a hard brake up and i was suffering bad depression crying in pain every day until i sat down and played this saved me from thoughts live isn't worth living every time i think of giving up i play this for hours on end crying out loud to myself saying that i can fight my own nightmares thank you so much bloodborne my favourite video game of all time
What makes the game epic is that the hunter only does what he must but in some way or another he ends up sympathizing with those poor beasts who, after all, are still innocent people.
There is a strange feeling that I had when I played this game. It is a mixture of fear and sadness. When I learned the story of all the hunters, I felt sad for them. It is not just a game, it is my life.Thank you Miyazaki for this masterpiece
To think it’s almost been 10 years.
When I had no one, this game was there.
The rush of happiness, the feeling of guilt; the feeling of hatred. All in one.
I will never forget this game.
Till we meet again.
What a delightful video it is. Thank you for your hard work at making this love letter to the game, good hunter.
For me no game ever came close❤
I wish I could play it again for the first time
As much as i try to forget the dream
The call of the hunt keeps calling for me beyond the reaches of the deep watery ends of my sanity. For it was this world that took everthing and gave everything. Oh how i can still hear them ... the bells
so distant and yet so crystal clear of sound . The slaying of prey that gave the feeling of prowess but also the the loss of so many fellow Hunters that made me go on till the Dream was over....hoping to forget and wake up but here i am still hearing the call....only to be pulled back in it
And I say raise your weapon of choice my fellow Hunter I raised the burial blade and will stand by your side.
Plugged in and updating my PS4. This video is just what I needed
The world of Bloodborne is distant, dark and unforgiving yet it always makes me feel cozy and at home whenever I come back to it
Can't believe this masterpiece of a game is 7 years old, I was lil kid back then now I'm 1 year away from graduating college, man, time fucking flies
Gehrman is the first Hunter and yet the last Prey
Bloodborne is no game. It is a way of life. (Joy gesture)
(Hunter's Rally gesture)
Today is 9 years from release the game , happy birthday hunter
The hardest thing is seeing those who helped you on your hunt devolve into madness from the clutching oppressive nature of the Great Ones.
No matter how hard you try, you can't save everyone, even worse those that you do save are only spared for a while longer and may be subject to even worse fates than being devoured by beasts.
Bloodborne feels truly and utterly hopeless, there's nothing you can do for this suffering world around you other than simply watch and suffer with it.
We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood
Brilliant editing! deserves way more views
thank you for your comment friend! I'm glad new people are having the opportunity to see this, it's really important to me :)
I’ve recently come back to this game. Been having some rough times and I figured I’d finally beat it. It’s definitely been a journey. Also those shots of the hunter walking towards the bosses are epic
The Fallen Leaves...Tell a story .... Of a Hunter... That became a squid 🐙
Best game i ever played
Holy shit this is beautiful… a masterpiece of an edit for a masterpiece of a game 😭
Sadest moment was finding Eileen in a bad way after fighting The Bloody Crow of Cainhurst
The hunter's perspective is what makes it epic, he knows that a single slip against those biblical sized beasts will cost him his life and he doesn't stand much of a chance against them.
and still the best ever in history
"A hunter must hunt"
Best Game ever !!!

This game, I fell in love with everything about it. It made me want to see what came before and after from fromsoft's library. It even helped me find a amazing manga known as berserk which Bloodborne takes some inspiration from. Bloodborne helped me get through some hard times in my life and meet some awesome people.

"NOOOO! Now I'm walking up!! I'll forget everything!!"
Cool video. My only criticism is the lack of Djura, perhaps the most interesting and moral character in the whole bloodborne universe. "The things you hunt, they're not beasts. They're people."
I totally agree, that was really my bad.
when I made the video I ended up having to choose between Djura and Alfred's dialogues, and I decided to put Alfred's because there is a cutscene for Logarius.
Since I don't have any means of recording other than the PS4 recorder, (which is stuck at 720p and it's really inconsistent) if I wanted to show something while his dialogue was playing, I would probably record some shots of the burning beasts throughout Old Yharnam, and some enemies just walking around.
So I didn't do that because the quality wouldn't be so good
Also I had to choose some specific scenes and dialogues because the song is not too long, you know?
but I totally agree with you mate, Djura is one of the best characters in the game without a doubt.
when I fought Ludwig for the first time, the "They're not beasts. They're people" statement made me feel really uncomfortable and really added to my overall experience
This made me cry. Thank you 😭🙏🖤
