First time I’ve seen the Moon Presence’s animations so clearly, and some of them are really beautiful. I always thought it was an underwhelming boss fight in terms of difficulty, but a really enjoyable one considering the lore and context
Tbh I feel like the main reason it felt underwhelming was its placement. It makes a lot of sense where it is, but unfortunately most people are still on the high of fighting gehrman when the moon presence shows up, so people expect it to be more of a challenge
I find it cool in that context tho. It's like I've overcome this game and Gherman, you aren't even a challenge now. It makes sense to me. Same as the Nurse, I've never struggled with it, not like with the DLC bosses that are crazy hard.

My personal favourite has to go to the Amygdala in terms of its alien nature & different design compared to the ones you find scattered across Yharnam. My least favourite goes to Rom; it’s a loaded baked potato with legs & no discernible attacks/attacks that make no sense. My meh favourite has to go to Ebrietas; I like her design, but she looks like the precursor to Lady Dimitrescu’s dragon form in Resident Evil 8.

@@Matrim42 Super Underrated Comment
Moon presence can seriously be annoying at bl4. If she had more health she would be considered a difficult boss. But of course health pools do matter a lot.
Without fail, I forgot Rom was there until the end of each match. Needless to say it was funny af whenever the camera panned over to her

Facing off against Moon Presence right off the bat is already a defeat sentence.
If Rom was closer to the action, they would have damaged her more and activated her teleport and her spells. If she had been casting meteors on everyone the whole time she would have won for sure.
And also Kos couldn't summon lightnings, which would have done some pretty serious damage to multiple enemies
