@@2MinuteTennis yes. it was so good that I have just shared to a few of my weekend tennis friends. I am sure that they will appreciate it. thanks Coach.
moving the wrist from flexion into extension like that (kind of a "flip") reminds me of how in a lot of throwing or hitting motions, we move in a similar way. for example, a lot of players on their forehand, have a racket flip where the wrist moves from radially deviated to ulnar deviated OR how their elbow moves from internally rotated to externally rotated right before the hit. Pitchers do a similar thing with both their wrists and elbows when throwing !
As for the timing when to look at the ball. I heard from one of the best coaches that you should look up before you release the ball so you could see the spot in the air where the tossed ball should be. What's your opinion on that, Ryan?
Officer; why you driving so fast Tennis player; officer, so I have a lag and per Ryan that will result in me rushing to work. Officer; my apologies, have a good day and good luck out there!
Hi Ryan, Great analysis:) I'm also surprised to see he isn't getting full advantage of the pronation and do agree there's room for even more speed! Instead of learning the pronation mechanical, I would just ask to contact the ball like a short hit versus a hard push. If the player get's a short hit the pronation will happen by letting go. If the player pushes to much (force) of guiding for control, the racket face will follow the target instead of flipping over in a pronated position. I was wondering if you can imagine what I mean and wondering what your thoughts are on focusing on a quick hit versus mechanically doing the movement (with players who allready use a continal grip and have a basic throwing motion in place)? Greetz, Paul
Interesting thing, that his toss and contact point is more to the right of the body and not above the hitting shoulder. The only question is it better or it works only for him, because this guy serves so biiig

Sir you rocks.. Super nice lessons😂❤🤘

Great break down! Now can you please download these tips into my brain 😂

That is 100% correct. Look up just prior to tossing. And toss where you’re looking. Thanks!!!
Question: isn't his right step-up foot a little ahead of his left? Especially on this backhand side?
Yes. But it works for him. Venus and Serena did the same thing.
Hi, could you analyze his second serve, please?
Fantastic analysis. Do you think he’s not getting as much long access rotation due to that initial wrist curl? (wrist flexion)
Officer; why you driving so fast

Dude I use this excuse every time I’m pulled over and 60% of the time it works… every time.

Does the height of the player change any of these mechanics?
@@tails89us nope. Everything is the same.
Thank you for your response!

Is he using a western forehand grip?
Nope. Continental.
@@2MinuteTennis I’m taking about his groundstrokes.. can you look at that when you get a chance and let me know if it’s western.
@ ohhh gotcha. Yeah I’ll do a FH analysis on him soon. Thanks!
@ thank you.. can’t wait for that one.
man, I never knew you're supposed to look at the box for longer before looking up to the ball..
Venus has that curl also
