Federers level during his thirties was undeniablly better than djokovic and nadals level during their thirties he just was unlucky he had to face two players younger than him with a champion mindset

      Not at all.
Federer in his thirties: 4 Grand Slams
Djokovic in his thirties: 12 Grand Slams

This is quite easy to disprove by looking at normalized win rates against everyone outside the big 3. But then again, what else would you expect from a fed fan channel. Anything that has a basis in stats is turned on its head to suit the narrative desired. If Djokovic has better stats? His rivals were “old and injured.” If Federer had better stats, it’s because…he’s better!

    • @Mark-ut5oq

      @@mrbrightside5278
Djokovic won *8 more slams* in his 30s than Federer. Federer lost to Djokovic and Nadal a combined 10 times in his 30s, 3 of which occurred when both players were in their 30s. Only 4 of these losses were in grand slam finals.
Using basic math, even if you removed Djokovic and Nadal from the equation, Federer’s “capitalization” rate on these would be nowhere near 10 more slams. Meaning those 10 losses he had to Djokovic and Nadal, would not equate to anywhere near a 100% slam conversion rate in their absence. He would still have to beat their replacement in the semi final, and another player in the final. Without Djokovic or Nadal at ALL, Federer wins likely 7-10 slams in his 30s. At most. He still comes out behind Djokovic.
Let me put this in simple terms for you: in the best case scenario, where Federer never has to play Djokovic or Nadal in his 30s, he would win *14 slams.* That’s assuming every single semi-final or final match he lost to Nadal or Djokovic would result in a GS win vs another player (impossible). Djokovic, despite being banned from 3-4 major tournaments where he was the heavy favourite, has *already won 12.*

    Thats so mighty, damn...
We dont see anymore this beauty. Today, there are just heavy rallies left, right, left right, till somebody does the error or something like that. But look at these Clips. There were so crazy speed breakdowns, slices and stops. There were so heavy, heavy straight winners, like: "fck I have enough, maybe It's going to be too physical, I just load through. There is unbeleavable netplay. Setting the pressure and follow to the net.
I would say, if his knee wasn't that damaged, Nole, Rafa and co. would have a big problem. Djokovic Game is just very safe. Putting the ball nice all over the places with a good amount of pressure but with secure.
I still say: Roger made at least 2 Generations. Rafa, Djokovic - came at the early 2000s. But they got kicked as hell. And they learned.
Also, Zverevs, Tstsipas, Meddys Generation were schooled by Federer. Federer made these guys "big". Federer was the Benchmark. Federer is above any GOAT discussion. Federer has his own league, his own level.
Federer played an so monsterous Tennis, Federer had at least two Primes. Maybe its like a good red wine. Or a Whiskey. With the ages comes the Expierence. Combined with an absolutly crazy talent and mental strength.. holy father.

He was always keen on hitting a bnackhand fresh off the bounce as a shot in his repertoire, something monfils often will do/did a lot of to just win an atp title at 38, making him the oldest player in the open era (over federer by 2 weeks). Djokovic is starting to use a lot of these block type shots too now at 37.
