"Angron? What an ally! Curze? Good luck." This is why i love Jaghatai he always says it like it is, even when he butted heads with the Emperor he still agreed despite his own history of tyranical emperor killing because he saw that he was preferable to the latter options
He had all the best arguments against Horus and the others, if he was a little bit more diplomatically gifted, he might have convinced Mortarion to switch sides away from the witches and sorcery. I think it was unfortunate, as well written as it was.
@@orangesnake2256 I agree. I really think if he had been able to further talk with Mortarion and explain his viewpoint more that maybe he could’ve swayed Morty back from chaos….maybe.
The last fight between these two was INCREDIBLE and The Khagan was just beyond belief! I don’t have the words to describe how well it was written and just how EPIC it was ❤
Make a playlist? Negative. Try for a 40k dream? Oh yeah! I cannot fall asleep to Baldermort's gravel nor Arch's cadence, but content like this works pretty good.
To be fair to Horus Lupercal, He would fully keep his promise to Mortarion here. The 14th Legion would be the first Traitor Legion on Terra by the express command of the Warmaster.
There is a Short story about a Death Guard Terminator hunting a specific Blood Angel during a Siege because they had insulted Mortarion hundreds of years earlier.
This does make the rivalry between the Scars and Death Guard far better than the Unstoppable Foe (Scars) vs Immovable Object (Death Guard) that it seems to be inspired by. But in the end, it just makes the decision to start the 30k timeline at the Horus Heresy look even worse. It would have been good to see the Dusk Raiders and Star Hunters working together pre-Primarchs, then seeing how things changed, and finally to how the Death Guard and White Scars reacted to one another, post-Primarchs.
It needs to be someone Guilliman can work with. The Khan is too much like the Lion in that they do things their way. So someone else is needed. Im leaning towards Russ since he is one of G man's Dauntless few. He will no doubt still squabble with Bobby G but he will work with him for the sake of the Imperium.
@@obsoleteMAC Hmm, the emperor children's are growing in numbers lately, and Fulgrim is not far behind at all. I wonder what GW plans for the Fulgrim and emperor children to do in the settings?
@@vontheunknown7982 Honestly Id like to see an implosion of the EC. When Demon Fulgrim comes face to face with clone Fulgrim backed by Primaris Marines. Though outnumbered it causes say 1/3rd of the EC to switch to the clones side. It could be a fun story that can branch off into different ways depending on the writer. Demon Fulgrim can still win but the battle causes him to break from Slaanesh as he continues to find "pure perfection" that isnt a slave/servant to anyone.
@@obsoleteMAC Hmm, I don't see that happening? 🤔 Clonegrim would have to escape the infinite collection/ship and I doubt GW will you use him, not to mention where would he get Primaris Marines?
Im pretty sure that the White Scars (so Jaghatai) are like the dwarves of the Old World/WHF 😂 they are the ones with a book of grudges in 40K (besides the Votann now)
I disagree with the concept of their duel on Prospero being a stalemate. One of them retreated and the other was still standing there ready with his sword out. Their mutual deaths on Terra, THAT was a stalemate (even though Jaghatai swept one of Horus' most powerful assets from the field with minimal return for Morty's sacrifice) Mortarion ran away because he was about to die, like his first meeting with the Emperor he just wasn't quite strong enough to finish the job⚡
Morty is a shard of NURGAL after all and khan knows the truth about it. He also stands with the emperor knowing full well he and his brothers will be disposed of just like the thunder warriors. That’s probably what’s frustrating for the traitor legions because they understand that they are nothing more than tools after all the suffering and hardships even as children watching his friends not survive the medical implants by the hundreds. The final insult is no matter how hard or successful they become it’s irrelevant to the emperor who will just get rid of them later anyway.
Lol poor space Marines only being tools for the entirety of mankind. Almost like everyone has to have a job to keep the economy and the nation going. Astartes just want to live hot girl summer forever.
I love how Jaghatai's Primarch superpower is having common sense and how in this universe that makes him ridiculously overpowered.
There are a handful with that power
Is it possible to learn this power?

I'm hoping that the 3rd loyalist Primarch will be the warhawk, but who do you guys think is going to be?
The strongest hints have been that it would be him, but plans can always change.

He was not mocking him ,just telling him pure truth!
Truth hurts the delusional
Guilliman would NEVER have sugar anywhere near his tea in the first place, the fault was Mortarion's for asking
Jag: im not into the treacherous stuff
Morty: u wot? and i took that personally, eternally
Finally, this is my favourite dialogue.
the way in which jaghatai chose to explain himself to his brother really was all a matter of wording that could have resulted in the complete opposite
The keshig approve of this action.
