  • This is 'The Beast'. a 39.2 metre, 128.6-foot explorer SuperYacht that, as the name suggests, has got some serious credentials when it comes to her specifications.
    If you like explorer and expedition yachts that come with a military-style twist, then I think you will like this boat.

    I love this boat! The warship styling is impressive and a nice contrast to the plain white yachts we see so often. The luxurious interior is wonderous!

    Hallelujah , what a stunnig ship !!! Are real masterpiece of ship construction , that's that what I'm looking for ! The design and building quality are on top , also all others looks from .master craftsmanship of first class . The crane is made from a company here in Austria , not far from me , thats the best you can get on the globe . Machine room , 3 ABB Pmg motors what catch my eyes , also one of the best electric motors you can buy . Its looks the ship builder is a real ship builder from profession of his heart. Maybe you get the change to get more details from this swimming dream . Thanks a lot for this great vid 👍👍👍

    The front lift area folds down amd can store jet skis, can be set up as an observation deck or layout deck. But only with calm seas obviously. They can also carry a submarine on the back, or at least used to.

    I have watched your review several times on this yacht when you first reviewed it. I think this is a awesome yacht. It’s nice to see someone thinking outside the box and willing to build something that stands out from the rest of the Explorer Yacht’s. I like the camouflage paint scheme from WW2.
    I love the deep sea fishing boat that they bring along with them. The interior of the yacht is very nicely thought out to make the most of the space. I did not think it would be finished to such high luxurious standards I was pleasantly surprised. The Beast is a questionable boat if spotted in a pair of binoculars I think pirates would stay clear. I hope in the future we see more catamaran yachts. I have no issues with yachts being built from aluminum there’s different grades and thickness just like steel. Aluminum is a practical choice if you asked me this question 50 yeas ago I might have a different option. The Beast would make for a great platform to carry a submarine.
    I can think of a couple catamaran yachts he hasn’t yet reviewed I will send them along to Yacht Buoy.
    Great Review as always Thanks 🙏

    I had heard about this boat. You think it will be Spartan and minimalist inside and then you see it is actually white luxurious and is very robust

  • @kfeltenberger
    @kfeltenberger 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I agree, very impressive. For me, however, that's where it ends; it looks like they crammed too much on for the size; there's no real deck space for the owner/passengers other than the flying bridge and a small area on the bridge deck. It's nice, but really think it's a page from Soviet warship design; let's add *all* the things!

    To me, an explorer's vessel is not only a machine that can tackle all mother nature can dish, but also how many people you need to operate it. You did a video blog about Arsen yachts, yet you have not done one about the real explorer yacht family of FPBs by Steve and Linda Dashew. Incredible machine, capable to go into polar regions with a crew of two. That's the ultimate explorer yacht. Fending for yourself in the wilderness, thousands of miles from civilization just two people, now that's an adventure.

      If you look through the videos that Yacht Buoy has made you will come across one that he made about the New Arksen 85 they took over production of the FPB Explorer yacht’s your referring to. They have turned the FPB into a very luxurious Explorer Yacht even the layout is identical to the original. Do your own comparison.

    Just seems like having such a heavy tender on one side and one so much lighter on the other would cause this Cat to be out of balance . Sure they must have some type of way to counter balance this load .

    Actually I like the concept but this boat sucks as a real explorer yachts A real explorer yacht would have a steel hull! I also agree there is no place for real relaxation.

  • @jaybee9269
    @jaybee9269 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I like big boats and I cannot lie.
    This one, though…the color scheme is ugly and depressing inside and out. Ugh. Plus, it’s aluminum? A material that has its place but not in my boat hull. A gross abuse of resources all told.
    They can keep this one.

    Bouy! For crying out loud WTF are you doing?? I am getting fustrated with you. Your channel claims to be about explorer/expedtion yachts. I would reason that most of your subscribers like myself have a fantasy of one day piloting such a yacht into the Artic, or around the great horns of the world, explorering the off the beaten track of the Pacific ocean. Most of your content feeds my fantasy right on. Then you pop in the 43' Helmsman, and this Beast. From one rediculous extreme to the other. I purpose you use a check list when deciding on what yacht to feature. I am going to help you get started with your check list of what an explorer yacht is.
    1) RANGE min 4,000 NM. 2) Can it be owner operated? 3) Designed for heavy seas. 4) Heavy redundancy in its power plant, navigation systems, stearing systems, water making, 4) Opulent in it's interior comfort. 5) Capable of safely navigating the Straits of Magellan. You can add to this check list, just is just an example for you. The Beast does not check these boxes. I don't know what I am going to do with you. Maybe send on a walking tour of Devaul Streeet in Key West during fantsey fest dressed as a hula bouy. Be happy, be safe

      😂 I love Key West so if I am going to get sent there as punishment then think I’m just going to crack on 😂

      Range 4000 miles is quoted.
      yip I would con that. Twin screws wide apart bet you can spin it around on a dime . It is not that big that two could not take her out .
      Cats cope well with heavy sea provide you recognize the strengths and weakness as in any hull type. Don't try to drive it hard into head seas, as you go off the sea the effective water line increases giving you the advantage of a longer boat . Cats do not roll and you don't have to waste energy with systems to combat that .
      Two hulls two rudders two engines two fuel and water tanks are pretty much standard in cats over 30 feet. Navigation? All you need is the appropriate paper chart, Compass,Sextant, Time piece, tables and the ability to use them, The rest is just icing.
      Its built by Kiwis. We know what heavy weather is down here in the remote south Pacific.
      I suggest a pat on the head and encourage him to find more like this.
