Hello JVN, I'm genuinely curious about the ethical practices behind your manufacturing process. I've been researching and paying more attention to how products are made, and it's become important for me to support companies that prioritize ethical standards. Could you please share some information about the steps you take to ensure ethical manufacturing? I believe transparency and accountability are key factors in building trust with consumers. Thank you in advance for your response
I love how uplifting and positive your videos are. I recently turned 40 and have decided this will be the year I embrace my gray/silver hair more. I'm not ready to to fully gray yet but I get highlights twice a year and my hair is curly so I feel that I don't have to worry about obvious regrowth. Thank you for your channel and making us feel beautiful.
I just shaved my head and started over, I had fun with my shaved head and I was so impressed with my natural silver color just beautiful! Now I am growing it long again. Solved! 🥰😇
This was JUST what, I needed! I was one of those people, who finally embraced my grey during covid-19. But being only 44, it still feels odd to have grey hair, it seems like it has changed everything, I knew about my hair. And I still sometimes feel like, I look so old. Not to mention what kind of colours look good on my, cut and style etc. So thank you for this video.❤ It means a lot.
Same! I’m 45 and let myself go gray during Covid but don’t know how to care for it now & do sometimes feel I look way older. Love JVN’s uplifting message & tips on this
I started going grey at 16 in my mid 30s I finally decided to embrace the grey. It was a two year process (with my stylist) to get back to my natural hair. There are times where having the natural hair I wonder if it makes me look older than I am, but overall loving my natural hair
I also decided to stop dyeing my roots around covid time, and I now have salt and pepper hair. I like my hair and have gotten some compliments but lately, I have been worried about looking older. But, I've realized that my face doesn't look older. It's still the same. I just fell back (temporarily) into believing the long held perception that grey hair = old. As more of us are letting our hair go grey, the less that perception makes sense since the age people decide to go grey varies. We all just need to remind ourselves (and each other) that we're still as beautiful as we've always been!
I am 71 & let my hair go gray in my late 50's....most freeing thing I had done in a long time. My hair is fine/thin with frizz! I recently discovered JVN (via TH-cam) and decided to give the Volumizing Hair Foam a try. I LOVE IT!!! I typically don't care for a mousse. They leave my natural shiny hair crisp & dull. This foam gives me volume, leaves my hair soft and the best part is no frizz. It's the 1st product I've found that controls frizz w/out leaving my hair flat. I look forward to exploring other JVN products. Thank you!
I'm 48 years old with virgin hair. Never insterest in color my hair. I embrace my grey hairs. Each one represents something that happened to me, and made me who I am now. Besides that, I realized that take care of my hair is different with those one up there, so I learn that moisture them help to manage them better, at least in my case. ☺
I decided to stop coloring at 48 years old and the first compliment about my silver highlights was from my now new boyfriend ❤ who happens to be younger- he absolutely loves my "crown". I never felt better with my now natural hair. ❤❤❤ Love from Germany and thank you ❤❤❤
Thanks JVN! I started getting greys when I was in my 20's. It started coming in hard when I was 30. Now at 37, I've been asked if I was my daughter's grandmother! WTF! Regardless, I refuse to color it because I think it's pretty cool. I get way more compliments than rude comments :) Thank you for this helpful advice. Silver foxxies unite!
I’m 24 and started getting some grey hairs at 20, I guarantee I’ll be grey at least halfway through my 30’s but I like it and don’t plan on coloring it 😊
Thank you! Taking care of gray/silver hair is completely ignored. I never realized how stunningly beautiful they are. I had a hard time focusing! ❤❤❤❤❤
I was hoping for beautiful white hair like my dad so when I saw it coming in, I gave myself a buzz cut. It grew in gorgeous and a toning mask and JVN products make it bright and shiny.
Thank you so much for this video ❤I transitioned cold turkey to my silver hair during covid, best decision I’ve ever made. I am now embracing my wavy/ curly hair to avoid heat tools. And you are right a lot of products do not say if it’s safe for silver hair. I used purple shampoo, conditioner and mask every two weeks or so, heat protectant for sure. Hi from Canada 🇨🇦 have a great day ☺️
I've got a different one for you: I had breast cancer in 2006, FEC chemo dropped all my hair out and it came back curly which was fab, then I got the cancer again in 2012 and this time had taxotere which made most of my hair fall out - having dyed my hair all my adult life I decided at that point to take advantage and not have to go through retouching grey roots every few weeks - weirdly this time the colour came back and now I mostly have salt/pepper with a cruella de ville white streak in the fringe 🤣 I got spayed a year later, all clear now from cancer but my scalp gets sebhorraic dermatitis so is often spotty and gross (am working on destressing but that a work in progress), and being post menopausal/post chemo my hair is thinner and has a floppy, thin texture a bit like baby hair, so not at all like traditional grey hair. If you have any tips I could use, would be most grateful :) x
About ten years ago I signed a pledge to shave my hair off to raise money for childrens cancer. At that point I was very grey but had been colouring my hair for donkeys years. After I shaved my head, when the hair was growing back I realized that I liked the way it looked so decided from that point onwards not to colour it anymore. Now its longer, below the shoulders, and does require a wee bit of work but its really worth it. I use the purple shampoo just once a month as I found I was getting close to looking like my Gran with the blue rinse lol. I use a satin pillowcase and found that has really cut down on the frizz plus put my hair up with a silk scrunchy. Sadly your JVN products are not available here in Malaysia yet but Im hoping our local Sephora will get them in soon. Thank you for all this wonderful helpful information. Love and joy xx
Finally!!!! I have been waiting for some silver attention from JVN for a while. Thanks for the tips. Went silver during pandemic and went cold turkey on the color. It took 2 years to fully grow out and it was worth it. Just don't want any more chemicals on my head. If anyone is thinking about it, go for it!
I had to laugh at the comment about blue hairs. I had a neighbor as a kid who went grey early and her hair was always blue-ish. On the other hand, I once overdid it on a violet hair treatment. I ended up with purple hair and actually got a lot of compliments on it! 😄
I appreciate you saying embrace yourself and your age. I am turning 50 next week and I have embraced my gray hair for a long time now. Your video was so helpful. I started using argon oil at night because I cannot sleep with a silk pillow case.
Thank you so much for addressing silver hair. I am 41 and silver. It’s time we change the idea that silver/gray = old. I absolutely adore the Jvn shine drops for my hair-so much shine without weight. And I cannot wait to try the new mask.
Thanks for this. I spoke to a customer service star at your site about not having anything about us graying or silvering and here it is. Thanks so much. xx
Thank you so very much!! My white wizard hair thanks you. I have trouble keeping the yellow out of my hair, I will purchase some colored shampoo, and look for the products you recommend. Cheers!
JVN THANK YOU! I am 38 and my hair is getting more and more silver by the day. I am letting it just come in naturally, I haven't had this long of virgin hair since I was 15/16. But thank you for the recommendations. Some of it I've been doing other's I was unaware of so this helped fill in those gaps
These tips are great! I finally embraced my silver in 2023. I started by switching to semipermanent color for the latter half of 2022, so my gray grew way out from the root under the semipermanent color. When it was about halfway down my head (my hair is just above shoulder length), I went to a colorist in January who did heavy highlights with bleach to blend out the remaining brown. Now my old color is almost all grown out. I do blue shampoo no more than once a week to bring me back to a steely color. I never thought I’d love it as much as I do, but I get so many compliments on the color!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm 19 months into my cold turkey salt and pepper grow out. These tips are so helpful! Thank you for your positivity on aging. It is indeed a privilege. Love your channel and the kindness you radiate. ❤
Jonathan you are a beautiful soul! Thank you for providing this helpful information! I appreciate you and thank you for your valuable knowledge and for being so darn adorable! My daughters and I love to watch your videos/vlogs together! Keep them coming! 💜
I had hair with high and lowlights to blend my white and ginger hair. I grew it out during covid, and just now cut it into a badass pixy, all the colors are gone, and love my natural "salt and cayenne" hair. I love how shine product really looks sparkly on my white. I use all kinds of crazy products.
I did low lights of medium brown to start growing out my white hair & stop all over colouring. My hairstylist was on-board but moved during the process. I miss her. She was fabulous. Had to convince the new stylist to continue with this strategy. She wanted me to go blonde or all over gray. She spoke to a more experienced stylist who supported my choice & gave her advice on how to help me.
Thanks for all this good info! I've had grey blending done twice now with blonde and light brown warm tones mixed in with my new grey and white growth. It's very nice. It grows so fast I couldn't deal with all the white roots anymore but still wanted color.
I'm still at the stage where I only have like 20 grays but I still wanted all the great info in this video so I'm watching as JVN talks about protecting the scalp from the sun and I'm just floored because I've never even considered that before. I live in south Florida and I have never once thought about protecting my scalp from the sun even when I'm at the beach or walking out in 100 degree direct sun
I let my silver hair grow in about 18 years ago, at first in the front only and then finally all over. I have long, wavy silver hair now and I love your products! I’ve figured out a lot of what you said by trial and error and I have to say, you’re advice is spot on! Avoiding heat styling and sun (I like sponge rollers), so much moisture, etc. I love that you’re moisturizing drops are pink and not yellow, argon oil stains silver hair. When are you coming out with a purple conditioner if you’re own?
Thank you so much for this video, it was exactly what I needed! This is marked forever as my reference now! I let my hair grow silver during Covid lockdown and I have been caring for it, but you gave me so many new ideas and explained the reason for them… just perfect! ❤
My natural texture is curly/frizzy- I got a keratin treatment for the first time a year ago and it has been a game changer. I love my silver color and thank you for these tips!!
Love this video. Like a few commenters below I grew my hair out over covid and it was so hard to find any information out there about how to take care of my hair. Great tips.
Thank you, JVN! I appreciate you so much. ❤ Your expertise on this subject is just in time for me. I’ve started using your JVN line, and my hair is loving it! However, as a salt/pepper gray with white streaks and fine hair, I didn’t know what to do about yellowing. I think some color shampoo will help with that, while keeping with JVN the rest of the time. Good advice on protecting the hair from heat and sun too - time to get some conditioning mist!
I really enjoy seeing your passion and realness, thank you! I'm male with long hair that is mostly 2A with some 2B, and I've gotten a lot of grey hair around my temples, hairline, and crown. The grey hairs are so brittle, prone to frizz, and a completely different texture, and some other sections of my hair are turning a lighter shade of brown and the texture is changing too. These parts are much drier, whereas my regular hair is shiny and gets greasy a lot more quickly. It feels like I'm having to take care of two completely different hair types and I've been trying to force the aging hair to be like the rest of my hair. I think you're right that I should just accept my hair for what it is and live with it ❤, or cut it all off 🤣.
Love this video, I have curly grey hair fully grown out. I have air dry cream and the drops so I am delighted and will be using them to style my hair and get some shine ❤
I am in love with your hair!! Love love love it! Also, i am 7 months into growing out my grays, i did not have it blended so i have a very strong demarcation line but have learned to style it completely different than i used to style my (colored) hair. I figure by about October i should be long enough to comfortably cut off the majority of the colored ends. Thank you for this video the amount of useful information in it is priceless to me. I will now go buy a lot of the products mentioned in your video (though i already have my blue shampoo, figuring i'd move to purple when it's all gray - i'm very careful in how i use it). Anyhow thank you beautiful for the wealth of information here! ♥
2 weeks late, but headed to the website to check out the nourish line! Thanks for all the tips! I was using heat protectant during the day but I think I'm going to switch over to your stuff for the UV protection.❤❤❤
I want to try you top rated products, but I am very sensitive and need fragrance free options. Please please consider adding fragrance free formulas for the many of us who are sensitive.
What to do with grey hair when your skin tone is warm. The purple shampoos that tone down ‘brassiness’ make my hair ashy, which is not good with warm complexion Love your channel, Johnathan ❤
Thank you! I never expected to get my dad's hair but I do and so can't get out in the sun much because it actually starts turning blonde again which looks like, well, you know, weird.
Silver hair yellows from heat, sun and product. A purple shampoo and/or conditioner can help with that but yeah, heat protectant is super important for silver hair.
Hi Johnathan - Soooooo glad I found you. what a charming guy~ This video has been so helpful - I will watch again for product recommendations. Thank you - new subscriber.
Love my silver hair and not tied to paying for coloring, but I can now splurge on better shampoos etc. including JVN products! Can you recommend good Velcro rollers.
thank you so much for this, love love love! I've transition to my natural silver early 2019 and have zero regrets. However, it is not zero maintenance to keep that silver sparkly and bight, so thanks for all the tips :) and my heart goes out to Tan, omg the heat is not our friend and it's really hard to keep that yellow at bay. I love my silver and I've never had so many compliments now that my hair is natural.
I’m from a long line of proper southern ladies. Our motto: Clairol to the Grave! My grandma-in-law had brownish hair until she died aged 92. But she never, ever, admitted to coloring it. Just miraculously stayed brown. #nopehoney
I'm at my wit's end with my hair. I have a long curly hair that is just breaking. It's also super dry and frizzy. I use hydrating shampoo and conditioner and always a hydrating leave-in and it's still like that.
Purple shampoo and conditioner actually make my hair purple even when I leave them on for just a short time. I prefer using Oribe Silverati shampoo and conditioner, which are silver colored. They are expensive, but I think they're worth the price!
Hello first of all thank you for all the information You're really good 👍 Okay to start with I found my first silver hair At around 16 years old. Okay will L'Oreal Feria extreme Platinum remove for highlight the already faded bonbar from my hair as I used a level 3 n and 3 nn with a Ion 20 developer what would you suggest I do and I'd like to thank you for all the information you gave us and please keep it up I look forward to seeing more of your videos TY so much😊 PS I missed the dark hair color the density of it yes I get the light horseshoe around my face but at least it's very easy to correct. And I do have to say this I used to use Revlon colorsilk darkest Brown and I got a lot of compliments on it I am not bragging in any way whatsoever I cannot stand to hear people brag in any way whatsoever. I just let mine grow out but I was surprised to see how many colors I had in it because I had silver I had blonde I had Brown especially a lot of caramel and dark brown in the back😊 I'm not just saying I'm did ono very well-known cosmetologist who is very good and has a very good reputation in my hometown refused to do my hair because she said it was too beautiful. The cosmetologist called me after I had made an appointment to go lighter and that's when she said this. I'm not saying that!!! The cosmetologist said that?😊 I'm a DIY most always I know bad me bad me... I'm just thankful to have hair on my head. Also I'm going to have to go straight to your channel I need to know about glossers.😊 Anything you can do to help me I would so appreciate it❤😊😊
Jonathan🌈 I have the T-shirt I've always wanted you to have so we could be twinsies. In pastel rainbow colors with a tape cassette on the front it does say 80s baby 90s made me I love it I think of you when I wear it🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I stopped getting my hair colored professionally and started putting arctic fox in my hair (without bleach) to let the line grow out. I figured, if my hair is going to be white at 37 I might as well use that base for fun colors!
Hi! I’ve been staying on my gray hair for about 3 years. All of sudden my hair mask is working on me. I started having dry scalp. It’s winter here NY. Hope you can help me to find a good hair mask for this time of the year. Thanks♥️
I love this video ❤ My smokey grey hair has never been so healthy since I started using JVN products, taking onboard your tips, especially using conditioning mist at night before putting my hair up into my silk scrunchie, that starts tonight! ❤❤❤

Me too 4 months in
I just shaved my head and started over, I had fun with my shaved head and I was so impressed with my natural silver color just beautiful! Now I am growing it long again. Solved! 🥰😇

Agreed! I naturally started greying at 17!, hid it till about a year ago and I’m in my late 30’s I’m so over it and ready to see the natural pattern.
Same! I’m 45 and let myself go gray during Covid but don’t know how to care for it now & do sometimes feel I look way older. Love JVN’s uplifting message & tips on this

The color of your sweater is perfect for you - it glows.

I’m 24 and started getting some grey hairs at 20, I guarantee I’ll be grey at least halfway through my 30’s but I like it and don’t plan on coloring it 😊
You are so right about aging, thank you ❤ You're the positive voice we need these days 🧘♀️

Such practical and professional advice .Thank you .Answered a lot of my questions .
Try sulfate free. My daughter and granddaughter both really benefitted from eliminating those sulfa-based chemicals.
I heard that rosemary oil rubbed into the scalp is as powerful as some of the chemical hair regrowth/strengthening serums and non toxic
Bless u for surviving Cancer twice…
You could try T-Sal shampoo...it's for seborrheic dermatitis. It has salicylic acid and works really good. That's awesome you're cancer free!

Wow! What a comprehensive and informative and positive video about getting one more year older! Thank you, darling.
Honestly, I love seeing super old grandmas with blue and purple hair, even if it happened by accident, they’re rocking it
Same 💜

Thank you so much for addressing silver hair. I am 41 and silver. It’s time we change the idea that silver/gray = old.
I absolutely adore the Jvn shine drops for my hair-so much shine without weight.
And I cannot wait to try the new mask.
Thanks for this. I spoke to a customer service star at your site about not having anything about us graying or silvering and here it is. Thanks so much. xx

Thanks for the info and the inspiration! Glad you’re here on this planet sharing your light ❤
JVN, you are everything and truly an inspiration and icon (to me very much so). I just adore all that you do and who you are. Thank you. XO
Thank you so much for this video! I'm 19 months into my cold turkey salt and pepper grow out. These tips are so helpful! Thank you for your positivity on aging. It is indeed a privilege. Love your channel and the kindness you radiate. ❤
JONATHAN! I love and miss you all the time!!! You make the days so much better! Thanks for being your beautiful, amazing self.

You look STUNNING!
Thank you Johnathan! I’m about 15% gray at age 25 and looking for some more shine! ✨ I think I’m going to try your instant recovery line ☺️

Ok, JVN, I'm over here having my own Queer Eye makeover. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, my grey curly hair and I thank you!

You’re fabulous and make everybody feel fabulous just watching your videos and taking your advice. Thank you.
Love you and your beautiful soul…thank you for giving us gray gals some tips!!
So happy to accidentally find your channel just now, JVN!! Watching QE makes my day. You make the world a better & fun place. ❤️🙏🏼💯
I let my silver hair grow in about 18 years ago, at first in the front only and then finally all over. I have long, wavy silver hair now and I love your products! Avoiding heat styling and sun (I like sponge rollers), so much moisture, etc. I love that you’re moisturizing drops are pink and not yellow, argon oil stains silver hair. When are you coming out with a purple conditioner if you’re own?
Nourishing shine drops are an essential part of my silver hair routine
I love you, your products and your energy. Thanks for helping me with my graying hair. I learned alot from this video. Take care.
Thank you for this video! I need all the tips to take care of my hair!
Not graying anytime soon, just needed some JVN energy first thing in the morning.
I've often wondered if I should go all silver or gray. Love this video and really helpful!
Such an informative video! I want to note: I LOVE your hairstyle in this video !
I’m in love with your beard. It’s gorgeous
My hair is mostly grey with some blonde foils. I’m thinking of bleaching the bottom half and dyeing it a nice pastel colour 😅💜💓
Thank you for this great information and for those positive, inspiring words at the closing of the video! 🙂❤
The purple shampoos that tone down ‘brassiness’ make my hair ashy, which is not good with warm complexion
Love your channel, Johnathan ❤
Thank you for this comment, I have olive complexion and battle the same issue😊
These are all great tips! Thank you!!
Just discovered you here and im loving ❤️ you and your advices and videos thank you hun 😊
Yas Jonathan!! I'm ready to rock my silver hair and this was so helpful. Thank you!
Love you for helping me and US!
Love listening to you , optimistic vibes and so 🥰
Thanks for the great advice and tips. I embraced my gray hair last year and this information is so helpful.
I’m 26 and going so gray. Thx dad for the premature grays 🥲
thank you so much for this, love love love!
I learned a lot in this video! #9 is awesome and why I just subscribed. 🙂
YAY, thank you for making this vid ❤ I have grey hair and this is most excellent info Xx 🙏
Your hair is Gorgeous! How did you style the amazing curls? Thank you for including us older graying ladies.
Geez! You are a super-duper smarty pants! I will keep these tips in mind for when I need them. Thanks!

Love you, Jonathan, and you are indeed Gorgeous ❤. Great video 🎉
Hello first of all thank you for all the information
You're really good 👍
Okay to start with I found my first silver hair
At around 16 years old.
Okay will L'Oreal Feria extreme Platinum remove for highlight the already faded bonbar from my hair as I used a level 3 n and 3 nn with a Ion 20 developer what would you suggest I do and I'd like to thank you for all the information you gave us and please keep it up I look forward to seeing more of your videos TY so much😊
PS I missed the dark hair color the density of it yes I get the light horseshoe around my face but at least it's very easy to correct. And I do have to say this I used to use Revlon colorsilk darkest Brown and I got a lot of compliments on it I am not bragging in any way whatsoever I cannot stand to hear people brag in any way whatsoever. I just let mine grow out but I was surprised to see how many colors I had in it because I had silver I had blonde I had Brown especially a lot of caramel and dark brown in the back😊
I'm not just saying I'm did ono very well-known cosmetologist who is very good and has a very good reputation in my hometown refused to do my hair because she said it was too beautiful.
The cosmetologist called me after I had made an appointment to go lighter and that's when she said this.
I'm not saying that!!!
The cosmetologist said that?😊
I'm a DIY most always
I know bad me bad me... I'm just thankful to have hair on my head. Also I'm going to have to go straight to your channel I need to know about glossers.😊
Anything you can do to help me I would so appreciate it❤😊😊
🎉thank you Johnathon for this very helpful and clear video ! and thx for addressing aging in the anti aging dominant culture- ❤
Gawd I love you! 🙌🏼
What kind of thing would you recommend for someone who has dark brown hair and is getting quite a lot of grey in some areas?
What great tips. Thank you!
80's Baby 90s made me🎉❤️🧡💛💚💙💜😘🌞😻😽
Jonathan🌈 I have the T-shirt I've always wanted you to have so we could be twinsies. In pastel rainbow colors with a tape cassette on the front it does say 80s baby 90s made me I love it I think of you when I wear it🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Just found your tube channel. Love you from the tv show!😊
Great ideas, thank you so much..
I stopped getting my hair colored professionally and started putting arctic fox in my hair (without bleach) to let the line grow out. I figured, if my hair is going to be white at 37 I might as well use that base for fun colors!
Nice,I really like your take on aging ❤
You're freaking delightful! 💜
Thank you for this video, brilliant !
