While I am super late to the party here, I wanted to thank you for pointing me at the Manix line. After hearing your thoughts on the Manix I picked up the CPM154/s90v CF version of the manix 2 (used for a steal) and fell for it completely. Now, after this video I've ordered the XL. Thanks as always for the thoughtful and solid review!
I traded a dude one of my Benchmade knives (can’t remember which one) for a all black Manix 2 xl, really like it! It’s not small but it’s a worker that’s for sure.

I have had the pleasure of carrying both the manix 2 XL and a true pocket behemoth (kizer megatherium) the manix 2 XL was awesome aside from the lock stick, when I first started carrying I was paranoid about the 3/4" of ass hanging out, not so much anymore.

I got a blacked Manix 2 XL then the Manix 2 half serrated. There’s only 10 grams difference between the two. My Manix 2 has full liners, the XL is milled out. I prefer the XL.
I was gutted when Mark Catlin left but I’m really liking Andrew Cullen too, a proper decent nice bloke who knows his stuff and conveys it well with all the info, Pompey is definitely on the up big time,,COME ON play up Pompey.

Hmmm... Well... The Manix 2 XL is bigger for sure. If I was going to have just one, it would be the Shaman because occasionally the XL is just TOO big.
Thanks SD! I was leaning towards the Shaman, but the 'low' price on the Manix XL was tempting me after the price increase on the Shaman. Buy once, cry once? Now I have to promise myself which knives I won't ever buy that add up to $180... that's what I'm doing to try keep it all under control. Now there will probably need to be a couple of Bestech, Steel Will, and/or Cold Steel that I won't allow myself to ever get. Sigh...

I've carried my Proelia and my Slipknot wallet in the same pocket lol. It's not a bad option to have your knife next to your wallet where I'm at, makes people far less likely to try and run your shit. Thankfully I've only ever had to use my tools for work and nothing else.
Why is the manix 2XL Less expensive than the pm2
There similar you have a point. But the pm 2 is like 150$ now at lots of places same as the manix 2 xl. (I want one but can't seem to make.up my mind) have the manix 2 let bd2n and really like it.

2020 got manix 2 xl coming in bhq trim.
Would you choose this over the Para 2? Can this be Spydie flicked?
It can but I wouldn't choose it over a pm2 or a pm3

Manix xl seems to be a beefer knife. Here people take about breaking the tip of the pm2 all the time (done it myself kind of hurts)
