Connolly died in 1997 and Tucker in 2002. So who are these guys?

I like both Steve and Andy and I am glad they are still able to do what they love most; however I do feel like as far as being more "entitled" to use the name it should obviously be Steve as the original band was Brian, Mick and Steve and they held auditions for a 4th member which turned out to be Andy. Fabulous four in my opinion! But yes, I most definitely agree with you that Steve should have dibs on the Sweet name. One more little tidbit of opinion...if you haven't read the book titled "Are You Ready, Steve" by Steve Priest you are missing a great read! There's so much about the band and their struggles in the beginning and A LOT of comedy; an A+ read for sure!

One of the great sounds of the glam rock era.... I grew up on a staple diet of these and a few prog rock bands. Can you imagine the storiesthey would have to tell... mind you the guys have gained a few pounds since the seventies.... you have to admit gigging with them would be a scream for us older musos
I know this is mimed but this singer has got a great rock voice. I'd really like to know how they sound live. I'm so glad these classic Sweet songs are reaching a wide audience and hopefully being appreciated. 🙏🏾💜

It’s sad because I used to listen to them back in the day. Not all of the original members but a few. I have Sweets songs on my iPhone, and will listen to that, and remember back to better days. Don’t need this video to do it.

Nothing plugged in? Look closer. They have their cords plugged into wireless transmitters. I used one back in the early '90s. It's a little thing called "wireless" technology. Look it up.

Truly it's not the original "Sweet" line up, but the fact that they partnered in Kirk Hammett to come and do this tribute, really stunning and fascinating!
And no, nothing is plugged in because of use of wireless transmitters, and if you listen closely to Kirk Hammett on lead vocals, no they are not lip synching. In my opinion I like that more and more people pay respect to the forefathers of the music industry by doing tributes to keep th music alive.
