I'm sorry to hear of Frank's passing---I'm sure he had a great life with a warm and loving family. Frank and Sarah are now playing over the Rainbow Bridge---maybe playing with my beagle Bailey. HUGS.
Yes, we're on the Daily Drool. We lost Sarah about 3 weeks ago, due to a stroke or something similar, unfortunately. So now it's just Frank the Tank...:(
Yes, Frank is a big lug with a wonderful disposition. Sarah is very sweet but is less laid-back than Frank...they make quite a pair! Thanks for your comment.
One time, my mom was reorganizing the meat drawer of the fridge and when she went to close it, it wouldn't. She looked down and saw our basset, Abraham, acting like a virtual door stop! He was hoping for a free snack.
It wasn't a double door one like yours is and she would paw at the bottom corner until it opened. I caught her red pawed doing it one day, for months I thought I had been losing my mind and shutting the door tight LOL
Oh - this video is priceless. Darling little hungry Frank - standing like a soldier in that frig.....oh I would love to give him snacks of cheese and meats and savories - he is so adorable - I wish I had one just like him. What a character! Sarah is beautiful as well. Are they littermates?
OMG, that would be a pain to open a child lock every time you want something! It would be an even bigger pain, though, to have your basset eat everything out of there! How did he get it open?
They are actually about as smart as a 3 year old child, and that's not bad for a dog, They can act dumb sometimes but they are mostly just very stubborn. If you got a basset before researching to find out about how they are, before buying it, then the basset hound isn't the one who is stupid here. Shame on you for doing that to that poor dog bassets get emotionally attached to people very easily. poor puppy dog.

This is so funny! :) my basset does this too. Sometimes he will lay in front of the fridge like he is worshipping it. :) haha
I'm back to see Frank in the fridge...again. Never get tired of this one!

I think he was just enjoying that cool fridge air.
Nahhh he knows that’s where the food is lol
Basset hounds seem quite food motivated. Heh. Must be that nose.

How are Frank and Sarah doing?
Is Frank still alive
Our 10yo Basset would have had the whole contents of the fridge polished off in the time it took me to watch this video. How old is Frank?

My husband wont let me get a dog, can I claim Frank as my virtual dog thru You Tube?
