    Many observers are obsessed with Posolo Tuilagi size, but Gazzotti, with linked Nouchi and Jegou were the most impressive players of this WC.
    England have some promising talents too, but not a strong collective.

    Perhaps these young lads could play a little bit more rugby and a little less on their opponents' nerves. All the teasing didn't do England much good...

      Due to how good the French attack is… you can’t be organised when the French are dominant upfront in attack

    You know, instead of cherry picking the rare few moments England did something worthy of the highlights reel, check out L'équipe's 20 minutes reel which does proper justice to this match. It's entitled "Coupe du monde U20 - France-Angleterre : De 0-17 à 52-31, la remontada explosive des Bleuets". You left out some of the best plays, simply because it was on opposition ball. Smacks of sour grapes.

    • @CGM_68
      @CGM_68 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It actually portrays the opening 15 minutes far better than this England Rugby reel. Ironic, FFR out doing even your video editor.

    How on earth can we have such an ineffective Midfield? Been totally hopeless in both attack and defence across all games. A serous concern, especially if you compare with the Irish. On a positive note, Cunningham-South continues to impress and Chessum had a long overdue decent game

    • @rinz9627
      @rinz9627 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cunningham south overrated af. The standout players for England have been the front row. Chessum doesn’t set a foot wrong and is a great leader. Greg fisilau work rate unmatched

      They didn't choke, they ran out of steam. The yellow card and the penalty try was the turning point, France just got stronger and stronger after that. They were always huge favourites to win.

      Sorry but LOL Apparently we didn't watch the same match and its objective evolution. ^^
      The French would have won in the end even without the yellow card for the English. And on the other hand you quickly forget in your comment the 2 French tries canceled by the referees when they were good, in any case the second at least...
      It's been 10-15 years of hard work undertaken by the FFR (French Rugby Federation) to build pro teams even among young pro players, monstrous, as the French know how to do when they really want something and they use all their means material and human to get there (The French did the same thing for Football in the end of the 1970s after decades of disappointment, the whole world has since seen what it looks like with the overall results and the world domination of the French Team Les Bleus). This hard work simply pays off.
      I remind you that the last 2 U20 Men's World Cups were won by France and that it is therefore in its 3rd consecutive final...
      PS: Don't make false generalizations about what I think of the two teams as a French supporter after this match. Because what I'm also convinced of, is that the two teams offered us a nice show with a great match at a very high level. It promises a lot of fun and ... stress 😛for both fans sides in the future at the Grand A in the Tournament and the World Cup. 😀

      @@clio2rsminicup I agree on most things you said but do not understand the first point you made: the comment you responded to didn't exactly minimize French impact, did it? anyway. I think it is the outcome of the FFR's will to force TOP 14 clubs to have a minimum of JIFFs (joueurs issus des filières de formation - in other word, french youngsters) at every game, together with something we (the French) do quite well : formation. People don't realize how many tennis, football, rugby players in Europe were formed in (and by) France. It is tremendous. Back to rugby: if the FFR could make another rule, like, for example, capping the number of minutes played per game in a single year by a player, we would be back to back World Champions...

    I hate....HATE... how long refs allow mauls to go on for when they aren't moving

    • @liammelia6843
      @liammelia6843 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      On the other hand, 80 points were scored in the game, so it can't have been much of an issue. If anything, more mauling tires out forwards and makes more space for the backs. Better than endless charging and mini-rucks as we saw a few years ago.

    • @mrdrevilporkchop666
      @mrdrevilporkchop666 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@liammelia6843 I just think teams have gotten too good at coaching how to spin a maul after seeing exeters dominance from 5m out a couple seasons ago. For a defending team to stop a maul for even a few seconds is so rare and an incredible feat that’s not rewarded by the ref
