    1: have I need to mention my JDs to show that these are aligned to my study I am intended for?
    2: have I to mention that If I will send the transcripts, degree, affidavit for supporting for fee by my parents although mentioned in the sop that they will fund me?
    3: have I need to mention that my intended degree is not offered in Pakistan but the relevant degrees available are not meeting the requirements as I am facing problem in my job and intended degree is the best solution?

Could it be more straightforward like it is really your dream to live and immigrate in canada because of the great impact and influence of your relatives living in canada and more of the universal health care package and the good quality of living and you wanted to start the journey by applying through a student visa because you wanted to apply for express entry but apparently you fell short of CRS points?

    Hi, Rachel! I’ve been watching your videos, and they’re indeed very useful to us who are planning to apply for study permit in Canada. Regarding SOP, how many pages should I write? Is it okay to write an SOP with more than 2 pages?

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes the page number does not really matter. As long as you can explain all the gaps or concerns you have on your application, any number of pages should be fine.
      Since I have a short history prior to submitting my application, I kept mine in 1-2 pages only. But your situation may be different. 😜👍

    Hi Rachel! Thank you for all your help. I just recently watched your videos. In LOE, since we will explain why we choose that program, let's say my reason is only because it's the closest fit to my work experience, do I still need to talk about future plans and proof of future plan? I mean is it necessary? Because to be honest, I will study in Canada to get PR. I may have future plans here in the Philippines but not as soon as I finish my program. Please advise. Thanks ahead Rachel and God bless your good heart! 😌

    Hi again rachel, thank you for your videos^_^. I really need to ask you, in our case my wife was accepted in The university of Winnipeg to study a english program for 1 year and 4 months to be able to get the required english lvl to start a course in the university, but we dont want to apply to that course until we know the results of the english classes and to avoid having to present the funds to that course too on top of the english program. She want to apply to extend the study permit once she is done with the english program, but we dont know what to say in the SOP
    1- She finished high school back in 2010 but never went to the university for economical issues.
    2- She is just applying to the english full time program maybe Canada could think of it as an unnecesary course to enter to canada, unless we explain them that the english is just the first step to get the real goal wich is study in the university and them coming back to our country with her knowing english and having international studies, so she can conquest her dreams in our country.
    3- But them if we explain about the studies after the english they can ask us for more money now right?
    Im desparate and confused, thank you a lot for your help.

      Hi Esleidin. I’m wearing the shoes of the immigration officer and the first question that comes to mind is “why can’t you learn English in any other country?” I like how you’ve explained the transition from the first program to the degree and I believe a well-written SOP should be able to convince the officer. If there’s any other way to learn the English, then after that apply for the degree in Canada, then I think she should do that. All the best.

    Will stating in my SOP that I am actually planning to work in Canada after completing my program be a good thing? or do I have to play coy with them by stating 'I'm just here to study' to better my chances of getting my SP approved?

    • @ariellegomez2013
      @ariellegomez2013 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      never ever say that you're actually planning to stay in canada! a student visa is just temporary so the visa officer must trust that you will return to your home country when it expires.
      im not an expert on canadian visa since im also applying myself but ive seen way too many family friends make the mistake of writing that theyre using the student permit as a pathway to permanent residency and then get suprise that they got rejected with no chance of repealment. so much money and effort wasted :(

    Hello Ms.Rachel! I just wanted to ask some questions regarding the sponsor, do you think it's okay if I will be having a non-relative sponsor for my student visa application? And if so, is it okay if they are U.S. citizens? And also what advice can you give me on how will I defend that situation on my SOP. Thank you so much! 😊 God bless! 🙏

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Joycee,
      The letter of intent that is required from the university should be different from the Letter of Explanation. One is required by the university and the other is an optional document required by immigration.

      Hi Rose,
      Are you doing your study permit application on your own? It seems as though you are getting some bad advice that could lead to a refusal or a removal from Canada.
      I suggest that you get legit professional help on your SOP as this could lead to some legal trouble for you later on.
      If you need to be connected with an immigration consultant, please fill out my legal referral form found on my website canxvisa.com

    Hi Rachael, thanks for sharing this really informative video. Its pointing me to the right directions already.
    I was wondering if you can help a brother out. I recently got denied because there officer felt I might not leave after my stay. I think its probably because of the course I'm going for. I've got a bsc and the agency I did the application with initially got me a wrong course: a certificate program instead of post grad or masters. So I'm doing it on my own now.
    And I'm thinking about reapplying with my short course certificates & totally excluding my bsc from my application. Is this a safe play?

    • @maureenanthony7193
      @maureenanthony7193 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, I thought I should share my (non-expert) opinion on your question.
      Since IRCC already have your information, I would strongly advise that you do NOT change the information they have on file, rather, request for your GCMS notes to understand the full reason for your denial, then work from there.
      If you think it was because of the course, then you should apply for a post graduate course along the line of what you studied or your work experience. A strong SOP (very important) and good financial standing should help with the rest. There’s so much I can say about this but this should guide you.
      I wish you all the best.
