Subcon.FDS is a Super Mario Bros. 2 EXE game, developed by MosaicArts & it centers around a haunted Famicom Disk System ROM, simply entitled "Subcon", which is actually an altered version of the 1988 platform-game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System, entitled: "Super Mario Bros. 2". The full game version was released on Game Jolt, on January 27, 2025. Kind of weird how it ends. It's like a bittersweet ending, where you saved at least one person, but the rest is still 'gone' in some type of way. This is a good game with gameplay in it, but this makes me wonder if there's going to be a sequel with how it ends with Peach turning into one of the Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic members.

@@kevinurbanovici yeah like in that cabin fever 2 game, which has like half of the main game in a crossgame quest. Only after doing everything you can get the true ending.
I think Playhide (and a bit of Anti) are talking about the mainline versions of Mario,Luigi,etc as they are the ones with most of the adventures (and for Playhide specifically talking about how peach was only known as a damsel in distress and even a few times she’s been in the limelight was for a short period of time in games (mostly SMB.2 (but even tho you could say (maybe) even her modern version as well.

While there are some bugs with this one, it was worth the wait, I can tell Crucis Mortem, the other Mario 2 horror game, is going to be fantastic once its development is complete

I think it's more just sloppy design then horror because the problems go further then just the text shaking a bunch

there actually was from Doki Doki panic! It was Lina, but either the dev of this creepypasta game forgot to add her, or they didn't know about Lina who is indeed Peach's counterpart since Lina can hover like her in the game.

Mhm. This game is "definitely" an horror game where *the protagonists of the series kills literally everyone in this game INCLUDING an "I am god" RIGHT at the end.* You are absolutely right. Definitely right. This game was OBVIOUSLY the same as the others and the antagonist definitely didn't pick an random enemy instead of Mario.
