    Thank you, ma'am!!! Since I started to follow your tips and vocal exercises my voice now has a strong tone and my range has gone a whole step higher. I'm grateful to have found you. You already got a prospective student here :) God bless you and hope you are recovering fast

    When I started my college voice lessons, my sound was woofy and dull. All my teacher ever said was to use forward placement, sing into the mask. It helped a little, but it wasn’t until much later that I learned about ring. The guy I heard it from referred to it as ping. But still I had trouble developing it. Thank you for these simple exercises. I can already tell that they will be helpful.

    You make learning fun. I loved and laughed at your Woofy moments - but more importantly how to navigate your voice out of them ❤️❤️❤️

    I never got a clear reason why this exercise is used and what it improves, until now. Thanks Victoria.

    I'm 75 years old and still love to sing. Your course is helping me especially with good warm ups. I love to sing hymns, show tunes and Russian folk music. I love and understand good singing since a child with my Russian parents, being an immigrant myself.😂❤

    Starting the NY with coffee, breakfast, and vocal work!
    Ovwr the past year your videos have helped me recuperate my voice and relearn everything as my voice lowered to contralto from mezzo (Covid & Menopause 😅) Yes that's a thing!
    Got back to singing karaoke to build confidence and test the audience interest in November & December 2024
    And I have gigs! Yes! A local bar/nightclub. So starting out 2025 with a song in my heart!

    I used to have that ring effect in my early/mid 20s , you feel this ring sensations (nose/cheek bone areas with vibration) especially when stretching a note or word. I feel i lost it (maybe coz i stopped singing in a band, 6years now) but good to know now that I can revive it in a more healthier way, with better and sustainable technique. "NNNNG" all the way from here on, lets gooo! Thank you Victoria, youre the best voice teacher!

    I learned from you in this video I've been doing NG wrong - Thank you for sharing the NG exercises on "Young" it worked right away!!!!!!!🥰😍 I am in your "Program." It took me a while to figure out navigating through the different exercises but they are VERY HELPFUL. I want very much to attend your online class on April 27, 2024 but I have a prior commitment. 😪 You are a GREAT teacher!!!! Sandra Taylor

    thank you for all the knowledge which is very easy to understand simplifying exercises to maximize results, after 12 years of learning to sing all the methods that I learned actually spent a lot of my time. I'm from Indonesia and I've followed the basic warm-up and it's very effective without hurting my vocal chords before practicing Once again I thank you

    6:44 Amazing how Vicotria gets it right. That cavity of the gulp is no forest, knock on wood, it's forstal, celestial. The soft palate might throw it up. To gulp it down is such a feast - it may even ring. The word ring might refer to the ring of Wagner as some bell of canto (sorry, this has just occured to me...), however, it there where the rhythm hides its source. You gulp it down in some regular rhythm "when" (of course, if) it's good manna. And, it's not there. You do to it, to eat, "more more encore",

    Is the 'ring' you speak of the same as what the Italians call 'squillo?" Oh, and nice to see Elvis turn up on the channel.

    Hey Victoria! Quick question. Does the NG exercise also hook you up to the right amount of support if you're doing it correctly? I do feel my core engage a bit when I do the NG without really intentionally engaging the abs. Thanks :)

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure, it does help with breath support because you would probably feel throat tension making that tiny sound without support.

    I think the ring is what the Complet Vocal Institute call the " necessary twang". For me it feel the same, but I am a noob.

      I cannot tell without seeing and hearing you. Remember that sensations will vary from singer to singer. You may be just fine with what you are doing!
