My Mother N'Law has one it's been great. Great Visabilty, Good Ride,Comfortable seats, Great features. We take it with 6 or 7 people on 300 mile round trips and love it! Love the way the center seats fold up. These vans are great for the money.
We just bought one yesterday from Kia Brampton and will be getting it tomorrow!!!!! Soooo excited! It was apparently the last one since they are rolling out the 2020 soon! Can’t wait... would’ve liked the LX+ for sure, but the L is what we can afford for now price-point wise...
Thank you for doing a review on the base model. Far too often reviews are always done on the high-end trims which are often twice the price of the base model. For those of us looking for a van but can’t justify a $45-$50,000 vehicle this review is certainly helpful.
That's exactly why we do these. I like doing reviews of the high end models because there is so much to talk about. In the case of the Sedona, there's a real value to buying this car in this trim. It deserves the coverage that we give it, because it sells well for us!
I'd love to DO a review on the highest trim level, but we don't tend to stock that vehicle. It's a low volume vehicle for us, so we would likely only see it here if one was ordered. If we ever get one, I'll do a review for sure!
I have to disagree about the Honda/Dodge/Chrysler thing...my husband is a warehouse manager for a core company (has been a core buyer for probably 30 years) and I can tell you with no uncertainty whatsoever, that Ford and all their lines are the worst vehicle on the market to buy, followed by Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. Honda products are just better, now, whether the Odyssey has issues, I don't know, but by far they won't be as bad as the issues Ford and Chrysler have, lol. We are a buy American family, but made a concession for Kia because so many are made in America now and they have the best warranty out there! Thanks for doing this vid though, we are considering a Sorento right now! Hope you got some sales from it too :)
I used to manage a fleet of medical courier vehicles. The company went cheap, delivered 5 Caravans, and my problems began. Within 2 weeks, all 5 had check engine lights. I would drop one van at the dealer, then drop a different one off as I was picking up the first one. That was a permanent cycle: get one, leave one. Also, I can verify that those "stow and go" seats are absolute garbage. Chrysler decided to sacrifice seat size and comfort for the stupid gimmick. Thank God I'm not dealing with those POS' anymore. (Cue the DUUUURRRRRR but my family always drives them and we NEVER had any issues DUUUUURRRRHHH.....)

I definitely prefer the entry level vehicles. Many fewer electronics to break. I love this van. Can you remove the 2nd row seats? Where is the spare tire? I would come to your dealership to look at it, if I weren't 2000 miles away.
Wait, you're going to let a couple thousand miles keep us apart?? Haha! The second row seats can be removed, but they require tools to do so. Most of our customers use the very handy fold up system to create the space that they need. You can see that demonstrated in this video: th-cam.com/video/_OslsusNyfI/w-d-xo.html&t The spare tire is located in the middle of the vehicle underneath. You can lower it using a bolt in the floor of the passenger area. It sounds more complicated than it is. I hope that helps!
While the lower trim levels of the Sedona no longer have Satellite Radio, they do have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. My guess is that most people buying the lowest trim levels are budget shoppers and are less likely to pay the subscription to Satellite Radio, meaning that they are less likely to benefit from that feature. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have no additional cost to use. Keep in mind that these lower trim levels without satellite radio are priced significantly lower than other competitive minivans. You can always move up a trim level and still be at or below the price of our competition.
My dad got a sedona but when i get in i dont know how to get out. Theres a button i press near the back part of the front seat and a door handle next to where i sit. I dont know what to press or pull to get out from the inside
At 1:25, you mentioned, "That's where Dodge is starting with their Pacifica." What you need to know is that Chrysler makes the Pacifica, and Dodge produces the Grand Caravan. Also, did this guy even check other reports, such as the IIHS or KBB reports, because Consumer Reports is not the most accurate.
@@Eman1900O In Canada we don't have the same issues with brand perception that Kia seems to have in the U.S. We already have one of, if not the best, warranties in the country. Perhaps that dealer feels that they need to do this to sell more Sedona's? We don't face that challenge here, we sell plenty of them by doing business as we do.

Hi, try touching the key fob to the engine start button when you try to start your vehicle. It sounds like your key fob battery is dying, this will allow you to start your car until you can get a new battery.
Brantford Kia Yes that is true, sorry. I was referring to cars from the 2019 MY which already see a price decrease compared to the 2020 models from most minivan manufacturers. But yes, if we are basing the pricing on MSRP your points holds true, my fault for not looking at it from that perspective.
