For me it wasn’t hard because I changed the entire throttle tube and everything. I didn’t just try and remove the grip. But it you don’t care about the old grips, slice em with a utility knife and make your job super easy.
@@WideOpenThrottle Piece of cake ! Thanks for the help. I just cut them right off. I am looking for a new speedometer. Not sure of one. How’s the one you have?
@@alruz6209 I like the one I have. Takes some time to get it dialed in perfect. Have to use a gps speed on your phone and keep tweaking the numbers in the settings…once your past that part it’s great. Has engine temp, tach, miles, keeps track of several thjngs
@@WideOpenThrottle you attention to details really shows through, brother 👍It's like building a model kit, but more detailed, more expensive, and you can ride it (the best part) 😜😁
Small ADVentures if I had a bike like yours mine would be dirty. That just means your enjoying it for what it was built to do! It’s a lot of work to keep my bike clean...but that’s part of the enjoyment for me
I like having it because it’s different. But it really is kind of a headache when you want to do something and have to remove it. I only keep it because everyone takes it off!
GOD LEVEL I’m in the Woodbridge area. Have you tried going on the Honda Ruckus group on Facebook and asking there? Also a forum just opened up totakruckus2020 ... wiring is really isn’t that hard to be honest. Email me wot49cc at gmail and I will send you the link to the ruckus service manual. That will help you with your quest.
I have a stock ruckus, well the only thing that I have upgraded is the exhaust for a two brothers. Do you ride your ruckus often? I have seen a couple of Honda groms in the area but I’m always in my car when I see them and I haven’t had the time to approach them.
GOD LEVEL two brothers is a nice pipe...when the weather is nice I go out every weekend. I’m not into riding in the cold at all. I can’t stand it to be honest. I’ve seen pictures of a few hooked up rucks at a car show near me, but I have yet to see one riding around. There was a guy in my area riding a stock one but I didn’t see him at all last season.
Danny Stackpoole at the moment I’m running 38/78 jets and shimmed. The weights I’m running are 5.5 gram sliders...I have to mess around with the weights. It’s doing 49 @ 9800, I wanna bring the rpms down. Just don’t know if I should go up or down in weight to achieve that. So I’m gonna buy some lighter and heavier ones and experiment.
How was the process for changing the grips?
I actually just got a maddog Icebear
Yours is spectacular!

Did you do a video on how to stretch a Ruckus??
Said it before, say it again, that's a GOOD lookin' Ruckus, brother 😊✌

@@WideOpenThrottle little by little they they done
Yes sir isn’t that the truth.
to me it would look alot better without the plastic floor board
Check out my later videos. I don’t have them anymore
May I ask what stretch kit you're using? And how many inches is the stretch? Appreciate the time
Hey man…Mojo Customs and it’s a 10” stretch
Camo work is so good mate.
Ross Moorhouse thank you sir. Really appreciate it! It’s all cut by me.
@@WideOpenThrottle can you make more and if so, how much? awesome pattern. thx.
Nice bike does that vapor speedo have a gas level indicator on it?
Thanks 🙏...no it doesn’t. I have a new float for the gas tank, I just need to get ahold of a digital gauge. Very hard to get ahold of one these days.
How did you get the Camo sticker kit? That looks awesome.
very nice

I’m sure you have seen the people that cut the top off and keep that. That looks good. Kinda defeats the purpose though you know.
Team floorboard!
Ceasar Jamandre gonna try and keep it as long as I can.
didn't know you had a separate comment account.
Very nice!
Thank you sir appreciate the positive feedback!
Where u get the twilight lowered kit
