Jeff loomis is a beast he plays everything so god damn clean and smooth man. I remember going to some tour at convention hall in asbury park. I was there to see killswitch engage and a few others but nevermore opened. I didn't know what I was in for. I was in the back talking to my friends and then I heard loomis soloing and I ran to the front. Ever since then I've been a fan of his playing and he's definitely underrated. He's an inspiration to me on guitar I've been playing for 20 years. Petrucci, loomis, christopher amott, Alexi Laiho are my idols. Rip to Alexi, has anybody read recently what his ex wife said? About his Australian wife running a go fund me scam for his funeral ? She laid him to rest and none of his family, band members or friends were there! She took credit as his widow. That's so fcking foul, bad enough the grief for the fans of his death but to find out his death was being disrespected like that? Deplorable! Google it, it's on loudwire.com
It's so awesome to watch someone with ungodly talent such as Jeff being so down to earth, just enjoying himself and having fun with it, playing for these people.
I always sense with every single one of his solos, that on the actual record is the worst he ever performs it. Because then every time he plays that solo in the future it just gets tighter and tighter. His playing is so tight in this video it honestly sounds like a guitar pro tab, and I mean that in a good way
I've loved Jeff all along the way...saw nevermore at pain in the grass at seattle center for free???(those were the days)...Jeff's technical mastery is a huge inspiration...
Bald dude headbanging is a champion lol. Jeff feeds off the emotion, he plays the solos a bit faster than normal too and way more attack. I wish you could have uploaded the full thing.
This is such a beautifful video - thank you for sharing this with the world, my friend. It makes me all the more sad that we've lost Warrel and we'll never have a reunion. They were so good together.
La. Partecipazione del pubblico... È meravigliosa... E fa capire quanto amano la musica dei fantastici Nevermore.....che ascolterò fino alla fine dei miei giorni
The fact that the crowd actually sang at the same pitch and octave as Nevermore's vocalist just makes this video my "go to" whenever I wanna plug into Nevermore. Besides, there's no way I could play that perfect in a single take. Loomis is remarkable.
As if Ammott can keep up with Jeff's song writing. haha The guy is at another level. He should just leave ArchEnemy, create a band with Chris Broderick and find a kickass frontman.
I rember when you jammed forbbiden live with them one night in studio 7 I was so impressed nothing personal but you r riffs kick more ass in nevermore than sanctuary. Go Brad Haul . R.i.P. Warren miss he's voice. BUMP OF DEATH
it's a JL-7, Jeff Loomis Signature. In the beginning of the show he said his own guitar is exactly the same as the guitars you can buy in every shop, and they don't come from a different factory.
TheShiAkuma oohh sorry for the mistake !! To complete the question of Justin Beabout, I remember he said that he always use a TS9 in addition with every amp, and this day he use it with this Engl.
@adriguitare he uses an ENGL Special edition head, nothing over the top its simple because if he ever has a blowout he can go into a music store and just pick up the amp though im sure he has countless backups
Jeff is technically amazing, don't get me wrong. But there are plenty of guitarists nowadays who can match his speed (although not necessarily his vibrato and bends). What makes him special are his attention to detail, his amazing melodies and his fucking awesome feel. He definitely wrote some of the best solos in metal as a part of Nevermore.
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of his bands but I had to headband during this, it's not possible to not do so. He's fucking insane. That shit was shmuber fast, the leads.
Keep the likes at 666 please! Love this video to death!
After one more like it'll become 999 bro! Wake up you need to see this scene
Going for 777!
#howtokeepcrossdressershappy/666
Who ever is leading the chorus is kicking ass!!!
Honestly!!! Hell yeah!
I have to agree with this again
RIP Warrel. Hearing the crowd sing along kinda gives me chills..
Same here.
I love how the crowd sings the chorus
Im pretty sure that was one dude, im sure people were singing along too but the main voice was one guy, and he did an amazing fucking job
@@neonblack211 you can see jeff look at the one guy singing just like wardell and jeff is so amazed amd gets into the song eve more
A god among humans and no one has any questions?
This was the end of the show, there was a lot of questions in the beginning and after the show when we had the chance to talk to him.
anthemlog you don't question gods
love it when the crowd sings the chorus :) - incredible playing as usual by jeff
still my all time favorite nevermore song !!!
One of my top 5 guitarist of all time. A master at work! Dominating genius!@!
Audience singing with the songs on a clinic = stupidly cool
Mr. Loomis you are so unbelievably talented ❤

Finally someone who thinks like I do :D couldn't agree more!
I fucking love Jeff Loomis. My absolute #1 inspiration
♫♪♫ Jeff bright as ever. But the crowd singing was amazing!!! \,,/ headbanger command \,,/
One of my fave guitarists...incredible
I've loved Jeff all along the way...saw nevermore at pain in the grass at seattle center for free???(those were the days)...Jeff's technical mastery is a huge inspiration...

That's probably how the bald dude lost his hair. Frantic headbanging must have damaged all the roots!
This is such a beautifful video - thank you for sharing this with the world, my friend. It makes me all the more sad that we've lost Warrel and we'll never have a reunion. They were so good together.
Feel the same here. Nevermore used to be my favourite band for a long time
Jeff is just so so so GOOD!
Jeff Loomis!!! on fire as always, melting everyone's face off!!!!!
I honestly watched this video for like 50 times the last 10 years...
Jeff Loomis is the real deal.
damn that is so badass that the crowd is singin the chorus, jeff is like fuck yeah!
One of the best metal guitarists in the world!
One of the best out there!
La. Partecipazione del pubblico... È meravigliosa... E fa capire quanto amano la musica dei fantastici Nevermore.....che ascolterò fino alla fine dei miei giorni
Man I love our shred community! 🤘
My computer temporarily froze when he was soloing, I don't think it could handle it...
Awesome to see a room full of Nevermore fans \m/
I love this vid wowo amazing
Loomis is just fuckin' awesome!! Period.
Greatest metal player.
great person and great guitar player!!!!!
So awesome that the crowd sings the chorus!
Love it haha when they sang the chorus 🤘🤘🤘
Amazing.
I soooo wish i was there!!!
Une tuerie !!!
He's a killer beast!
Such a badass and seems very cool
good to see some real nevermore fans in the crowd for once, no one seems to sing the lyrics when Warrel tells them to in the live shows.
That is awesome, I wish I could do that.
The fact that the crowd actually sang at the same pitch and octave as Nevermore's vocalist just makes this video my "go to" whenever I wanna plug into Nevermore. Besides, there's no way I could play that perfect in a single take. Loomis is remarkable.
What the fuck did I just watch??
That was some of the coolest shit I've ever seen in a long time!
Jeff seems like a good dude. Great guitarist👍
for sure it was! ;-) very good atmosphere, north of France have a good community of metal fan
I'm not sure Loomis is the reincarnation of Bach or Paganini!
Perhaps both?
We might throw Chopin in there? (MacAlpine might agree)
Great player! & singing
This is awesome, Im sitting here watching him play the same Schecter guitar as I have sitting in front of me...the Schecter Jeff Loomis 7 string.....
I got that guitar and it still the best guitar I own
Dude he is too good
Monster of a guitar player.
I really hope Ammott let's him write more rhythm riffs for the next Arch Enemy album. They could do so much better as a songwriting team.
Amott is a dick, he wont let jeff do anything
@@TheCFW He left Carcass so...
As if Ammott can keep up with Jeff's song writing. haha The guy is at another level. He should just leave ArchEnemy, create a band with Chris Broderick and find a kickass frontman.
Ammott would be a washed up nobody if he didn't flaunt around his lead singer's tits. Sad to see Loomis go to waste in that joke of a band.
@@friedtawilis0741 Yes please!

O cara é monstro
Super 👌
Holy fucksticks!!!! Jeff is SMOKING!!!
Who the fuck would give Loomis a thumbs down?
@Pulsuhundur I think it's the E 670 EL34 version, because the inside light seemed blue.
Loomis is a stud.
Sorry to be a Jeff Loomis fanboy, but he is just a beast. Comes across so down to earth and eager to impart his wisdom.
nevermore funs recomend me the best album of nevermore... i loved it this shit
Those emg pickups are kicken
aww
FUCKING AWESOME
Tru master 🤘🤘🤜🤛
The crowd actually sounded good , that was awsome
I'm fucking impressed.
i need a lesson of his to teach me that second part of the main solo. the 7 fret stretch dimminished thingy
@custommade21 no, its Engl Invader in this vid
4:05 so fucking sickkkk!! just nasty!!!!!! demon twister of a lick!!!!!!
These metal heads really did justice for Warrel on this chorus, I know when this was released it was 9 years before his actual departure but still.
@Mittlefingah yup
R.I.P nevermore
fucking genius!!!! \m/
He's playing an Invader in this video; Just don't know if its a 100 or 150. Great tone!
it's a JL-7, Jeff Loomis Signature. In the beginning of the show he said his own guitar is exactly the same as the guitars you can buy in every shop, and they don't come from a different factory.
MacMarytahu he means the amp, it's an engl invader :D
I heard the invader the first time, it sounds extraordinary *-*
TheShiAkuma oohh sorry for the mistake !! To complete the question of Justin Beabout, I remember he said that he always use a TS9 in addition with every amp, and this day he use it with this Engl.
Der Typ is echt brutal.was der so mit seiner Guitar anstellt is echt extrem....
@adriguitare he uses an ENGL Special edition head, nothing over the top its simple because if he ever has a blowout he can go into a music store and just pick up the amp though im sure he has countless backups
2:40, the moment Jeff realized he was in a room full of friends, not clinic fans.
he really looks like a kind person....sing the chorus plz =)
The one person that disliked this was Chris Broderick lol
3:55 almost melted my face
Pretty cool Jeff. How come you seem to play the same licks from lessons in '88-'89 though?
@schecterftw
Nevermore - Born
the chorus
Fuckin too good
R.I.P nevemore

its his signature guitar. I have the V model, it smokes. I however have Dimarizos in the guitar, no batteries for me.
fuk yeaaa \\m//
"anybody else have any questions?" ok let me just tear it up then. lol
@MegaAztro jeff and van left the band..
finally a "shred" guitar player that actually plays aggressively.
MOSH
1 person is NOT an enemy of reality...
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of his bands but I had to headband during this, it's not possible to not do so. He's fucking insane. That shit was shmuber fast, the leads.
nevermore is never...more
Jeff is a better rhythm/songwriter than a shred God he wants to be. Don't @ me
Dont you love the dive bomb in the beginning of the song??
Haha the crowd is doing a great job on the chrous
@niebieskimazak dude sorry but the band without Jeff or Warrel or actually any of its members isn't Nevermore at all. NM was a unique band. period
All these guys had long hair before, they came to watch him.
