I think I might literally be the very first person who ordered this and I can't even tell you how jazzed I am about it. I've been looking for a room box for my "explorer's study" for months and this is *EXACTLY* what I've dreamed about.

Just saw you at the show and bought this in 1:12 scale. I'm excited to start this project. It's hard to decide how I want to decorate it, so I'm sure it will take awhile. It was quite lovely to meet you at the show. I was shy about talking because, well I guess because I'm shy sometimes. So excited! This is one of the things I ordered tonight after finding your shop! It occurs to me, after watching this, that a tiny hole in the base of the fireplace with one of those flickering tea lights (maybe a flap in the back to access it for changing) would be quite cool with some cellophane (and maybe resin pieces) fire!. All sorts of possibilities here! And I'll be watching for more things available in 1:24 size, as that's the main size I'm interested in.

Love it Ara, I missed out this time but my arm is still broken so I couldnt have done it now anyway. I look forward to the rerelease of these. Theyre gorgeous and look really versatile. Best of luck in this new venture but I am sure everyone will love them just as much!

Since this is my first year as a vendor I wanted to just focus on that and not get too overwhelmed. If all goes well and smooth this year I hope to do a class next year also!

So sorry about that! I need to be more vocal about it but I also don't want my viewers to feel like I am constantly trying to sell things to them. I will definitely ship to the UK but its a bit expensive. I am hoping to offer up the SVG's too after its been in the store for a while. Kind of like a file retirement system ;)

No photos currently but I know several people are working on them right now. I hope to do a customer finished project section on my website soon to see all the ideas!

Love the look of this. But.... there is no way I can afford to order the kit, shipping to Canada is just way too much. I wish you'd make this also available as a pdf or svg file so that I can use my own dozens of cardboard boxes to make this, or use my Cricut Maker to make the 24 scale one.
I totally understand that! I wish the shipping was not so much! I plan to do a 'retirement' system for my files where they will be just available as kit form in my store for a while and then after a while they will be also available as SVG :) I have a couple other files I plan to do this with soon as kind of a way to dip my toe into the SVG selling world!
What types of weights are those? Been looking for something like those ones for crafting, I ordered the 1/24 scale one

Question: will NOT installing the fireplace affect the stability of the whole structure? I want the raised platform to be for Queen Elizabeth I throne (chair).
If the stability is going to be an issue I will probably just enlarge the firebox opening to fit the throne. (when I can find one. Lol)
The ceiling stretches all the way to the back of the room so I feel like it should be fine without the fireplace structure if you want to remove it. If you do find that it feels a little weak in that area you can probably insert a couple hand-cut columns out of the remaining pieces that will be less intrusive on the spaces but still provide support. I hope that helps!

There is a limit because of the amount of material I purchased to make the kits. I have more on order now but I don't want to put them back in the store until I have the material on hand! I will announce on my social media as soon as I have the new cardboard in stock and it's back in my store!

I just saw your email about making 1:6 scale. I have thought about it but haven't had time to source materials to see if it would even work for me. Hopefully in the future!
@@BentleyHouseKits hopefully it is similar to the 1/12 with cardboard. At least that’s what @myfroggystuff does plus she uses foam board but that’s not as stable as cardboard. I think only difference might be things to reinforce walls. Or double up and triple up (where you have double) I have wondered if you can use cheap metal straight pins like nails.
Might you sell this as a digital template/plans for those of us in Europe?? 😉🤞🏻🙏

Question if you do the room box why can't you use the plaster technique that you did on the cardboard house
You definitely can do it that way too! The chipboard strips are for those that don't have any plaster since I can send anything like that with the kit itself. Anyway you want to finish it is up to you!

To Bentley house minis I’m watching the uncle nick nack video again still cool oh on the leather it’s called foe leather or imitation leather which means it wasn’t made of animal hide like what they make purses out of.
