Annie Walker's final scenes (12 October 1983)

Doris Speed made her final, and somewhat unexpected, appearance as Annie Walker in October 1983. After a newspaper published her real age which greatly upset her, her house being burgled and ill health, Doris quietly left the role that made her a national treasure.
These are her final scenes in the show. I find her final lines very poignant.
