Hey, everybody, it's Mary Cheney, marketing manager here at VoIP Supply, and today we're going to do our product feature video of Yealink's New T44U and T44W. So let's get to it.
Okay, so we are going to actually unbox the T44U here. So, as you can see, you have your quick start guide. Again, these are very important. You want to run through this, gives you kind of recommendations on how to configure the phone, always a nice thing to have. And if you lose it, we post those on the products themselves so you can always refer back to our website for that. Here's the actual phone itself. Here's the handset cord, your ethernet cord. This is your desk stand and we have your handset.
So the major difference between the T44U and the T44W is that the T44W has built-in Bluetooth and built-in wi-fi and the T44U does not. But if it's something that you're going to need down the road, it does support, can use a Bluetooth dongle or a wi-fi dongle and they can be added right here. So if it's something that you need down the road, it is available on the T44U. So let me assemble this.
All right, so we're just going to look at a couple of the basic features of this phone. So you've got your volume. It gets really loud, you can turn it down. You have your speaker. We're not connected. You have your headset, your voicemail, your mute. It also has eight programmable line keys here. You can go into your menu and all of the tools that you'll need to program your phone. A couple of additional features of the T44U. It comes with a 2.8-inch colored screen. As shown before, you have dual USB ports that can be used for a dongle for Bluetooth or wi-fi. You have their Acoustic Shield technology. The T44U and T44W are both wall mountable. The wall mount is sold separately. The dongles for the T44U are also sold separately. Both phones support up to 12 SIP accounts.
So here is the side-by-side of the T44U and T44W. The W has built-in wi-fi and built-in Bluetooth. There are still two USB ports that can be used for a wireless headset or for USB recording or a USB headset. So ultimately they are pretty much the same, again the difference being that the T44W has the built-in Bluetooth and wi-fi. So if you can't have that feature or don't want it right now, then the T44U is going to be your go-to, and again, you could later add those two features through the USB ports and the additional dongles which are sold separately for the T44U.
