Hey everybody, it's Mary Cheney, marketing manager here at VoIP Supply, and today we're going to do a product feature video of two of Grandstream's brand new hotel phones, the GHP630 and the GHP631. They do come in Wi-Fi-enabled models, the GHP630(W), and the GHP631(W). Let's get to it. All right, so let's get to this. Here's the actual phone, the handset cord, the handset, and the mount. Okay, so now I'm going to assemble the GHP630. As a reminder, this does come in black, and that's the GHP631, which we will show you in a little bit here.
So let's assemble this. I do want to note that this does not natively come with the Ethernet cord. There are two other models that I mentioned earlier, which are the GHP631(W), and the GHP630(W). And those models do come with a power adapter. This particular model, the GHP630, and the GHP631 do not come with an Ethernet cord or a power adapter. Okay, so let's get this assembled.
So we've got that in there. We're going to put the handset cord in, and that goes like that. We are going to put the stand on. And again, this is really cool because it does give you the ability to wall mount it, you can see right here. So let's get the handset plugged in and then we'll power this on so that you can see it.
All right, so now I'm just going to point out some of the features of this phone. You have your soft keys up here, you have your standard keypad, you have your flash button, your speaker button, which is right below that. You have your volume down and your volume up. Here, you'll find your message key. This is your mute indicator. If you need to put somebody on hold, you can press this hold button here, and your message waiting indicator is up here and it's up here. So another important thing that people quite frequently come asking us for is the default administrator password. And it's actually located on the backs of these phones. So if you flip them over, you will probably have to remove the stand to get to it, but it is there directly on the phone. And then if you do purchase the GHP630(W) or the GHP631(W), the default Wi-Fi name is wp_master, and then the default password is, wp!987@dimn.
So we've got a front desk, wake-up call, restaurant cleaning service, and your emergency button there. All right, so let's talk about some of the key features and functionalities of both of these phones. The GHP series of hotel phones features the GHP630, the GHP630(W), the GHP631, and the GHP631(W). They are easy-to-use IP phones for any hotel room that can be programmed and customized based on the needs of the hotel and its guests. The GHP630(W) and the GHP631(W) models are equipped with integrated dual-band 802.11ax, and Wi-Fi 6 to support wireless deployments. This series features HD speakers, two SIP accounts, and lines six context-sensitive soft keys, 10-speed dial keys, three-way voice conferencing, supports the full-band, OPUS voice codec, and provides advanced jitter resilience algorithm that tolerates up to 30% packet loss without impacting voice quality.
The GHP series is supported by Grand Stream's Device Management System, GDMS, which provides a centralized interface to configure, provision, manage, and monitor deployments of Grandstream endpoints. The GHP series IP phones can be installed on a desktop or wall-mounted and can be powered by PoE or through a power adapter. Please remember, that the power adapter is only included in the GHP630(W) and the GHP631(W).
