Came across your channel and really enjoyed this video. Been to Yosemite a handful of times and it’s one of my favorite places. Best time to go is spring time, when the snow has melted, and all the wildflowers are blooming! Hope you get to visit Yosemite again- there’s so much more to see!
If you’re still in the area, check to see if highway 120w is open. There are two or three tunnels that you drive through. One of them, has a cave they carved out for ventilation. If headed west it’ll be on your left side, if headed east on your right side. Go to the end and park at the turn out, then walk back to the cave. It leads to a fence that you can climb under and sit on a cliff. Smoked a blunt there as the sun rose and it was one of my most iconic memories at Yosemite. No hike required, but you get an insane view. Perfect for camera.
Great video Jake, you my friend have a great personality. Seems like anyone you come across gets along with you. Already looking forward to the next upload!
Check out Tahoe national Forest! Echo Lake is a great hike and if you keep going, you’ll hit Aloha lake, which is absolutely amazing! And, if you keep driving 80 heading to Nevada desert, it’s absolutely beautiful and undervalued!
God sure has a way of making his country pretty awesome eh. I'm livin the dream through you..thank you for taking me along..a big thumbs up from Ontario,Canada
Wow! So spectacular! It was also so kind and thoughtful to help your neighbor with their fire 🔥 You are a beautiful person ❤️ Yosemite is incredible and the serenity it gives you is absolutely beautiful 💚 The views from this trip was so gorgeous 💙 Mount Shasta is an incredible place to check out as well 🏔️ Many blessings on your travels ❤
Oh man! Yosemite has been on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing! Definitely hit Glacier Park... take more than two days, so many great trails and views....and hit the Logan Pass trail for a SUNRISE hike. You won't be disappointed!
DUDE! You made it!! Video still doesn’t do it justice! Theres Soooo much more to see there. Glacier point. Half Dome Bridalveil Vernal & Nevada falls. You got to go back!! My favorite place!! I used to hike from Mammoth to Yosemite. A week hike!! But incredible!! Touching trees no human has touched before!! AMAZING!!! Glad you got to see it and appreciate it
Wow!! (11:00) that view is majestic! Magnificent! It's heaven on earth ❤😊 it's been year's since I've been to Yosemite but thanks to you i can be reminded of it's beauty...the mountains, the waterfalls, the raging rivers... it's all just magical & spectacular ❤
Sent you a long e-mail regarding information about Alaska! Can't wait to see what adventures you get into up here. Redwood forest is a bucket list trip for me one day! Great video as always, editing has improved 10 fold! Great work man!
What's funny, is those redwoods are tiny. Head north through SF, over the golden gate and go up to the avenue of the giants. those are the big boys. Love your videos, looks like the bed is still an issue. There are bears in California, so be careful.
Those trees he thought were “redwoods” are actually Giant Sequoias which are the tallest trees on earth. Sequoias are in the same family which is why there bark looks similar but are completely different species
This seems like something you will reminisce on when you are old, Y'know? Also, this guy seems to be the calmest individual I have ever laid my eyes on.
So amazing. can't thank you enough for documenting your journey it's been such a joy and a pleasure to follow you as you've traveled along and gone to these amazing places
I came here from TikTok, I’m glad you were able to enjoy Yosemite! It’s truly a magic place. Wish you would’ve entered through Tunnel View entrance. The view is insane
Walmart makes this pre-cooked breakfast hash that comes in a frozen bag. You just heat up in a pan, it’s super quick to cook, crack a couple eggs into it and it’s so tasty!
I saw Bakersfield pop up on your navigation! That’s where I am. I went to Humboldt State University, now Cal Poly Humboldt. If you drive north on the 101 through Eureka and Arcata, make sure to stop at Los Bagels in Arcata. Best bagels I’ve ever had! A stop in Trinidad might be nice too- a little bay there and you can fish off the pier. It might remind you of Massachusetts a little.☺️
This is so cool. Thanks for making this video. I totally hope I get to experience that one day. I've been to a few amazing sights but not Yosemite. Thanks again!
You should visit New Mexico! Desert dwelling isn’t for the faint of heart though so come prepared. The Valles Caldera is starting to thaw and the elk herds will return soon. It’s a prime place to view wildlife and also explore volcanic terrain! We got a bunch of hotsprings here too, just please don’t Geotag them if you visit. Too many non-locals have been coming and ruining our springs.
Ah man! You’re in my backyard and home 😊 And ya, that spot you camped is a very creepy area…weird stuff goes down around there haha Hope you had a wonderful time!
Sorry about Big Sur! You may have seen by now but they’re suffering from another road closure due to weather washing out another part of hwy 1 :/ it’s been hard to get over there for a long time
Nahhh, this doesn’t even look real. I can’t wait to go to Yosemite! Enjoyed watching you get to explore it for a couple days. Another video well done man
I was at the same lower fall a year ago in July. It was dangerous to hike up to the waterfall. I saw adults and kids getting hurt due to slippery rocks. Be safe.
So your in gold country. California motherlode, which extends into the Oregon border near Klamath. Gold is 2300 an ounce. Look in the right spot and you WILL find some... Pans are cheap...
Dude. You added an extra 2 hours to your drive. From San Luis Obispo, you should have taken the 41 highway to the southern entrance into Yosemite National Park.
Speaking of the camera, (just watched the guy ask ya about it) what do you use? I’m trying to get into some more outdoor type videos on my other channel and currently just use my phone.
kamu harus menambahkan sedikit tulisan pada thumbnail video ini agar terlihat lebih menarik, ini hanya sedikit saran dari ku semoga perjalanan ini terus berlanjut 🔥✌️
I think you have a burrito addiction. Do you get withdrawals during the midday when your AM burrito wears off and you haven’t had your PM fix? There’s help out there if you just ask for it.
all i can say is.......wow! what a view! thank you for this video!
This Journey keeps getting better and better 😭
That was a fantastic video to watch Thankyou Jake and the guys to let you tag along with them 🔥🥰🥰

They are saying Big Oak Flat Rd is still going to be closed a couple more days between hwy 140 in the park to Foresta Rd due to rockfall.
Great video , I’m very thankful you take us on your journey 🙏🏽
Great video Jake, you my friend have a great personality. Seems like anyone you come across gets along with you. Already looking forward to the next upload!

I live in just south of SF and have seen the old growth redwoods you are referring to and Giant Sequoias are much bigger in comparison
Redwoods only grow 20mi from the coastline and cannot be found in the Sierra
This seems like something you will reminisce on when you are old, Y'know? Also, this guy seems to be the calmest individual I have ever laid my eyes on.
For those cinematic drives into Yosemite and such, a 360 cam mounted on the roof would be sweet.
So amazing. can't thank you enough for documenting your journey it's been such a joy and a pleasure to follow you as you've traveled along and gone to these amazing places

Yosemite was our home away from home when we were younger…I really think we could live there for 1,000 years and it wouldn’t be enough!
If you get to so cal check out Big Bear lake. Holcomb valley campground totally awesome

I love your enthusiasm for simple things such as trees and dirt!! :D Keep it up mate!
My favorite place on earth. So glad you got to experience it. Safe travels, friend!
The tree that looks like it has puzzle pieces on its trunk smells like vanilla when you scratch it. You’ll see lots more of them as you travel north.
stop in Crescent City to see some amazing redwoods on the coast! it’s right before you cross into oregon
It’s been so long since we been there-need to head back and see it again. Sooo beautiful
Go to Lake Tahoe, Kings beach. Granite sand.
This is so cool. Thanks for making this video. I totally hope I get to experience that one day. I've been to a few amazing sights but not Yosemite. Thanks again!
I got stuck at Big Sur when the upper part of hw 1 washed out. Was very pretty but definitely wait till the summer time when it doesn’t rain lol
How appropriate to be listening to the Counting Crows while in CA. 👍
Thanks for taking us with you ❤

In BC Canada theres a place called hells gate just passed hope on highway 1, you should check it out as it's not far off the highway

After help with the fire, I expected her to wake up in the truck next to you in the morning. 😂
I was at the same lower fall a year ago in July. It was dangerous to hike up to the waterfall. I saw adults and kids getting hurt due to slippery rocks. Be safe.
At some point I recommend Yellowstone gotta stop in Cooke city, also Estes park Colorado and take trail ridge road to grand lake epic scenery
I love your content!
What campground did you stay at? Thanks man! Been watching since the first build video, fellow new englander
The ground squirrels are not shy. They will take anything
Mt. Lyell is the tallest mountain in Yosemite at 13,000 + ft and Yosemite covers almost 748,0000 acres, crazy #'s.

You remind me a lot of Mav!! Love your content

Yosemite!!!!! I want a house near there so bad lol
Absolutely stunning scenery. How do you get the long range shots whilst walking ?
"Where'd you find the food, sir?" Best part lolll
Sending love from Fresnoooooo
So your in gold country. California motherlode, which extends into the Oregon border near Klamath. Gold is 2300 an ounce. Look in the right spot and you WILL find some... Pans are cheap...
I should have came and met you, I live in Fresno which is an hour away from Yosemite.
Its probably to late but you should check out kings canyon. Its right around the coner from there.
Which brand of car stereo unit are you using? The screen looks nice.
I don’t understand how someone can see all that beauty and not give an ounce of credit to the creator God.
Love the journey!! How many damn eggs you think you’ve consumed over the last 6 months bruh? Lol!
There was actually part of the highway that washed away on the way to Big Sur on both sides. So it’s probably a good thing you didn’t go
Imagine he steps on one of the rocks that was just a mirror reflection and falls right in the water 😂

Does the park still require reservation?
I'm just trying to see SalvageToScenic go fishing 🎣
If you haven't watch Free Solo you absolutely need to.
100th comment but in Yosemite I live within the park u should try to climb some mountains
What campground? Going to North Pines for a week in a week.
If you don't mind me asking how do you get money we'll on the road?
