    Really appreciate Hasan for speaking up about a wife's right to her personal space. I wish more people can be as enlightened and open minded as u. Especially in this culture where only a few have the tendency to unlearn the toxic family patterns and relearn. Traumatising your spouse and kids for the rest of their lives because u refuse to give them their rights.

    The best part about fairytale is that it is a sweet young romance, beautiful aesthetics and very natural actors with nothing too made up.Along with that, the subtle messaging of Boys gelling in with in laws is worth appreciating.A good man who loves his wife helps her in career and clears misunderstandings fast.These guys should be actual heros in our plays

    JSA: One of the finest works of Umera Ahmed. There so much astute observation of human psychology and duality. Tabassum’s aukaat and saza was evidence of her self-justification and delusions because she isn’t keen on humiliating Jannat even though she was sent to jail and to do that she is desperate need of some justification and this showed that what she was thinking. Both parallels are so beautiful: Jannat and Tabassum fell into the trap of materialism and greed while their men got ignored. However, where Nauman got jealous and resentful, Farooq never lost hope and brought Tabassum back to her senses. He never felt jealous of her financial success. How men in a woman’s life can change them for good or bad. I agree that the therapist’s dialogues weren’t well-written, however, the est of the scene was so beautiful and tragic coupled by a masterful performance by Kubra. Kubra is the best crier: her devastation, and her despair is so effortlessly conveyed through her acting. A criminally underrated actress.

    How adorable were the past scenes of Kubra and Gohar 😍 this quarter apart from one two dramas had mostly wrong casting which lead to stiffness when it came to creating chemistry or showing a love story, so in contrast this was so cute to watch as you’re so into the story! I’ll miss Jannat se Agey!

    As someone who has been through therapy that scene in jannat sy agy was extremely relatable and real. My observation is a good therapist does talk in a very validating way in the first few sessions and it helps find comfort in them. And then after like 4-5 sessions they start initiating uncomfortable conversations. If they don't push the client then it's very hard to come to a conclusion because the client himself/herself often is not heard in his/her life and maybe that's why they are not direct in explaining what's bothering them. Very well executed scene. I was seeing myself in jannat. The way she started crying hysterically in the first few minutes and the therapist was letting her express herself and offered her water and jannat took a sip probably not because she was thirsty but because she wanted a pause in expressing her vulnerability was just how it was in my case. I found it very real. Even when the therapist said you have everything she didn't say you don't have the right to feel sad. It was just her trying to dig deeper into the issue and she was successful. If I look back at my conversations with my therapist it was the same strategy. And I'm thankful to her for all that.
    I have had different experiences in regards to therapists and invalidation by them exists but it doesn't look like this.

    • @aamnakhan4175
      @aamnakhan4175 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Yes it was a very well executed and very well written scene which reflects the intellegence of a good writer and director unlike the poorly executed therapy session in Mein where the therapist was actually not eager to listen to the problem rather she was giving more fire to her narcissist behaviour
      Umera Ahmed is indeed a very good writer and peeks into the human psychology very well

    Referring to Saturday’s haute bites where they talked about posting on Palestine. Amna called Palestinian issue political . With due apologies, calling Gaza situation a political issue not just trivialises, it actually hurts the cause. The Palestinian, Gaza issue is not political, it is a humanitarian cause, a catastrophe, a collapse of humanity. Politics divides people, you can even stay neutral in political matters, but not when humanity is at stake. Here everyone irrespective of nationality, religion , even Jews are protesting demanding “ Cease fire Now”. It’s Israel that is down playing the genocide by calling it a political issue. Europe, US are censoring , firing, reprimanding those who are raising their voice with the excuse that they are pushing a political view point. The voices are to save humanity, to stop the massacre of children, women, innocent civilians by the Israelis. The issue is of Israeli brutality; there is nothing political about it.

      I felt uncomfortable the way she put it. In politics, people have a choice to take sides, people can stay neutral, but it is not possible for any human being to not feel or speak up when humanity is breaking down, since it’s every human being’s concern. That it what Israel wants and is doing , terming it a political matter and punishing people for taking a certain political stance.

    JSA: I hope Tubassum confesses her thefts too, while telling her story in front of the camera, for she is not that innocent. The dialogue, “ mae ne kabhi apni auqaat se ziyada nahi liya”, was like downplaying chori. Hope they do not justify Tubassum’s thefts.
    Kudos to Kubra and the director for working on the transformation of Jannat, both in looks and personality. She looked young with a slimmer face in flashbacks and in the next scene with the psychiatrist, she had a fuller face, actually looking that some years had gone by. Similarly the change in her personality from a bubbly, happy young wife to the serious mature woman.

      JSA is truly one of the best drama i have seen in years... The best part about JSA is that even after so many episodes, it's still somehow managed to grab the interest of the audience. Otherwise, in most Pakistan dramas, after 15 or 16 epi drama start losing its charm, and makers are always unable to control the storyline... as far as for tabbasum i don't think so she will accept her thefts... i think all she will say is about how jannat was so good to her and how her greed makes her do some terrible thing to jannat... i think it will somes up all her confession.. i don't think she will straightly confess her thefts...

    Jannat wasn't greedy for luxuries unlike Tabassum but she gradually got carried away with the promotions she was getting at work.

    JSA : They did show that Nouman wasn’t bad in the beginning. He deeply loved her and appreciated her. The writer and the director is reminding us that in this episode also if we notice Jannat’s behaviour from the initial episodes. She became snobbish once she became famous and it took a toll on both of their lives and both her and him transformed in a negative way. Then he also drifted away but of course that doesn’t justify him cheating and stealing. If he didn’t like her behaviour, he shouldn’t have used her for money nor betrayed her, rather could have left her. I loved the fact that Jannat gracefully told him the truth that she found out about him and then she quietly walked away. Totally dynamic ! The writer is teaching us, how fame can destroy lives and make us forget our blessings, sometimes when we don’t appreciate what we truly have. Regarding Tabassum, when she says “Mene apni aukat se qeemti koi shay kabhi nahi churayi hai” … What the hell is that supposed to MEAN! Disgusting way of justifying stealing. When in fact she herself admitted that she would have stolen the jewellery and money too if she stayed there longer. Also, the magic, the lies, the way she insulted everyone and taught Jannat’s kid to lie and all the deception … such cunning and toxic people shouldn’t be glorified anyway nor their acts!! I feel she’ll expose Ayla and talk in favour of Jannat though and admit her mistakes on the show then that would be great ! But if she becomes famous because of that then that would be disappointing honestly. Looking forward to it!

    I like how she stood up for Palestine in last Haute bite saying that celebrities should share about Palestine because they make an impact. I do agree that posting and praying go hand in hand. People would not be praying if they did not see what was going on. Influencers need to be historian, don’t let the victors/oppressors write history, we need to show the world the truth. You must have heard of Megan Rice. She became Muslim because she saw how strong the Palestinian are in their faith. Even after losing everything, they still say ‘Allah is sufficient for them..’ Just like stated in the Quran..
    You know christians shouldn’t be celebrating Christmas this year because Jesus (A.S) was a Palestinian 🇵🇸.
    Also, please do talk about Congo and Sudan too.. Ppl need to stop buying new phones/ laptops every year because you are supporting the slavery/genocide in Congo, children are forced to work in dangerous conditions because of high demand of technology. 😔

    JSA : it's not right to say that Nouman was a good husband, he was actually a husband who liked to provide for her wife, and in response her wife would be happy and this used to give happiness to Nouman ....
    This was the dynamic of their relationship and this is the dynamic of most of the relationships in our culture...... As soon as this dynamic changed Nouman started to feel useless in that relationship, once he also said that "us ne mujhay bus tasweerain banwanay k liay rakha hwa hai" and if we look closely, in the relationship in which he is now happy he has the same dynamic with saboor Aly, he has asked her to leave her job and where saboor cooks for him and he shops for her, on which she gets happy and this gives Nouman happiness.......
    So it's not about good or bad ......
    It's about how he wants his relationships to be, to feel happy......

U can't suppress them ur whole life, then that person becomes baghi aur phir woh bagawat karne lagte hai, they start hating that person and ghar ka environment kharab ho jata hai. Everyone should be independent ofcourse but saying such harsh words and treating ur DIL like that is so wrong.

    JSA had me crying these last two episodes. Jannat's dialogue of wanting to feel happiness and not being able to do resonated with me. It's such a tricky situation because you're at rock bottom and there is no light. I wonder how she will reconstruct her life as Jannat or moreso how will she find herself again?
    The change in dynamics was interesting to see as Jannat began being a greater provider than her husband. Their relationship became more give and take but also lost its core essence of connection and family. I don't think the writer is shaming Jannat for her ambitions but rather showing how easy it is to lose connection with one self and others the higher you climb. It's rare to be able to do it with a clean heart

  • @ayeshasajid1833
    @ayeshasajid1833 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    I wholeheartedly agree with hasan on the fact that children should be independent as soon as possible. They shouldn’t marry unless they have their own independent personality and decision making capacity. There is no joint family system in Islam. It is a man’s role to balance the rights of his wife and mother. Husband’s parents are his responsibility and wife’s parents are her responsibility. Wife is only obligated to be respectful and courteous towards her inlaws. She is not obligated to be obedient to them or to serve them.
    Yes pakistani women are territorial. So, in order to avoid the tug of war between your wife and mother, one should simply move out with dignity. If this is not possible, there should ATLEAST be a personal space for both women where they can do things as they like with no interference from either side. Kitchen atleast separate hona chahiye..
    Kudos to hasan for pointing this out that moving out doesn’t mean that you dont love your parents anymore.
    What amna is talking about is a very ideal case scenario in which mother in law makes the bahu feels welcome and loved. But in majority of the households, this doesnt hold true because of the territorial nature of a middle aged pakistani woman who suffered domination of HER mother in law.

    Rah E Junoon - OMYGOSH. Where do I begin? First off the suicide scene, it seemed believable UNTIL the last scene where they show a WHOLE van full of girls who are literally a few feet away from the hero who was going to commit suicide...I was like it's okay I can watch the next scene, IN the next scene when the heroine calls a COMPLETE STRANGER to help with something the words that came out of my mouth were "Oh my God" out loud and I immediately closed out the TH-cam tab. Ain't nobody got time to watch this absolute disaster. The comments on that drama were all fan boys/fan girls of Danish Taimoor and just signing his praises. WHY oh WHY does Danish choose these dramas? So awful!

    Guys, let's show our support for Palestine by boycotting companies like PepsiCo (including all the softdrinks & Lays), Coca-Cola, L'Oreal, Nestle, & notably, McDonald's. There are more to add to this list, but our focus is on making an impact wherever we can. Remember, even small actions matter in building public and financial pressure on world leaders to end the ongoing genocide. At this stage, when even the smallest efforts are gathered together, they can have a significant global impact. By standing up for the oppressed today, we can hope for support from Allah, when we need it. Also, please continue spreading awareness on social media. It's crucial, as many rely on it for real information about the situation in Palestine, given that mainstream media is often unreliable. Let's keep spreading the truth. May Allah support Palestine and protect us all. Aameen.

    I think the problem with Jeevan Nagar is that the channel is extending the episodes by using extra scenes that wouldn't have made the cut in case it's original pace was maintained... Same thing happened with Kabuli Pulao, you could easily tell that the last 3 episodes of Kabuli Pulao were actually supposed to be 1 episode.. it was obvious because of the next episode teasers...

    I agree with Aamna - I didn't enjoy this weekend's episodes of Fairy Tale as much as I usually do probably because of the lack of Farjad and Umeed scenes. Is it just me or did anyone else notice Farjad's character being kinda annoyed or less affectionate over the past few episodes? We wanna see him as lovey dovey as Umeed! An underrated character that I really like is Mimi! She's not just beautiful but is always giving sensible advice to all her family members, and I was happy to hear about her job acceptance lol. Anyone wanna explain what was the point of the scene where Farjad gets locked in his bathroom? I want to applaud Haya for being in med school or preparing for it but also having the time to work at the Cafe at night! Next, Pasha House kinda seemed messy and off (like the room where Farjad was staying in) and I was grossed to see a bathroom in the dining room. Lastly, the girls' spa day was goals for me. I know the name of this drama is 'Fairy Tale' but these were some things that I didn't get.

      Fairy tail is fairy tail... obviously we all watch it for farmeed.as you think ke farjaad ko Thora ignore Kiya ja raha he i would suggest you to wait for a couple of episodes kyun ke story he or sari stories foran hi nahi explain hoti eventually Kahani he Apne poori woh Karke hi ikhtatam par pohanche gi.as you said Mimi is just adorable and pretty .the next bathroom scene ... according to me it felt cute that she asks for a sorry first .the makers have just created an opportunity for umeed to achieve (umeed's desire) what she wanted.i will not talk about haya but I think ke yawr parh parh ke Banda paghal hojata he Kuch toh different chahiye hota he as a student and it was not bathroom or it can be but it was kitchen because chachu ne dikhaya tha.i hope now you get it and that's all .but no last thing fairy tail is not a judgemental show for me agr Kuch nagawar lagta he I just ignore it because after all the tiring week it is like a medicine that fixes everything.the best thing is that it doesn't consist any toxicity
