@neo76201 As it turned out, the motor itself was not seized, but that it was the generator/flywheel. It's compartment had filled with water and the stators rusted to the flywheel. Using a rubber mallet and a small block of wood we tapped on the pistons and it forced the flywheel free.

i just got a 78 400t with a seized motor. how did you go about freeing it up?
