Hi Tash does Ecotree usually fit battery solar & charging units ? Did fitting take long to complete & can I ask price for the job ? My arm battery just doesn’t seem to hold up that well so also thinking of upgrade. Thanks for any advice at all. Davie
Hi!! Yes they can fit them at Oaktree Motorhomes, that’s where mine was fitted! I left my van with them for a couple of weeks as we were away but I don’t think the turn around is too long, depends how booked up they are. Price wise, it’s best to get in contact with them to figure out what you need as the retail of what my install would be would be will differ from what someone else needs, it’s not a set package (charge controller, panel, shunt etc). Give Rob and the team a call and they will be more than happy to chat to you! My personal experience is that the difference was amazing after having a new solar panel and lithium fitted, I haven’t worried about power since. I knew lithium would be good because we have 2 of them in the Motorhome (unbranded ones we had fitted down south 2 years ago before we moved back in)

We swear by our Lithiums. Got our two fitted as soon as we possibly could after buying our Motorhome. Bloody expensive mind, but well worth it for the convenience. I think the prices have dropped a bit now though since we paid over £2000 for our two. 🤨

Great to see you again guys, although I just saw you Tash on one of Dazzlers recent uploads! Cracking video that, I enjoyed it. Some awesome scenery. Lithium is 💯% the way forward, I work for a lighting manufacturer and we are implementing this on all our emergency lighting ranges. That’s why manufacturers now can provide 6 year warranty periods as it is not so harsh on components. Have a great Christmas and all the best for 2022 both.

Lithiums are so much better, and the cost is coming down too, probably why other sectors are using them more now plus they are more reliable.
