So while there isn't any clear set of guidelines as to what would be counted as a war crime when it comes to the standards of the Cybertronian race, however we will be judging the actions of the Autobots based on real life human definitions of what truly is considered a war crime. As an autobot pacifist I must disagree most of the points you made are toataly inaccurate and some are agreeable for example the holding of mass destruction its also used by the decepticon like bruticus trypticon and devastator was used to kill and destroy autobot citizens and pillage they're resources Torture and Execution The trial and inprisonment of deception could be devastating to the autobots because the prisoners could sabotage the autobots from the inside Pillaging and Medics While I do agree on the fact that citizens and doctors of war should not be targeted it is a valid point that the decepticon did more or inflict most damage on civilian cities like iacon and other cities Biochemical Weapons It is very terrifying of chemical weapons used but decepticon used cosmic rust to kill autobots in the most painful way possible The slavery and forced labor is more better than being executed or be casted in society because of the horrible actions a decepticon would do after a war think like the decepticon in the comics that are shunned by society in the space station colony

I watched a video recently where a Transformer fan was showing his friends LSOTW, and one of them legitimately went *oh shit* when Prowl mentioned that Pova (the planet the Wreckers fought Squadron X) was a neutral planet
It wouldn't bother me so much if they addressed it in the films. IDW featured several Bots (Prowl, Getaway, Whirl, Impactor, Roadbuster, Hubcap) do some rather shite stuff, but, they were called out for it & received punishment.
In the Transformers Prime episode Partners I'm pretty sure Arcee broke the Geneva constitution when she tried to kill Starscream even forcing him to fight her.

Morals only goes so far in a realistic point of view. It’s like Batman letting joker live just so he can kill more people. There’s no reforming Joker, same with Megatron, there’s no reforming him. If a decepticon wanted to change, he would simply go to autobots and join them. My point is even if the autobots do questionable things morally, they are still here to protect us, the decepticons are not, plain and simple. I can’t believe that these accusations even exists after dotm.
Tf are u talking about cybertronian civilization is formed on classism they didn't care how many of what is now the decepticons died because they they benefit off their labor and move on like it's nothing when they try to rebel for freedom the first ones to actually start the conflict was the Autobots they attacked first then as the war went on the leadership quickly lost its way and evolved into pure evil there are still people that want to live the life they were promised but why would you choose to side with your oppressors because they seem to act less violent we've seen bots brutally murder Conn's on screen like it was nothing cuz they don't care every Autobot give or take a few are privilege and have always lived off the backs of the cons why would you side with someone who's kept you in poverty and pain your entire life even if they are correct once.

I think IDW continuity is one of the most grey morality Transformers continuity with Megatron starting from random mook into fighter for justice and later into crazed warlord.
Also it’s a common mistake to confuse Optimus prime and the rest of the autobots. Optimus is the one that preaches about the moral stuff, however most of them (if not all) don’t really share primes point of view in dealing with both the humans and the decepticons, a lot of autobots have intense hatred for decepticons. Remember they’re not superheroes, they are a faction in a civil war that is just nicer than the other side.
Sideways was fleeing from the N.E.S.T. team and Autobot during the Shanghai Punch-up without participating in the Demolisher fight and burst through the Chinese apartment as a desperation move to escape the bloodthirsty trio of Arcee units… then Sideswipe brutally cut him down with a boastful “Damn, I’m good!”. No you metal asshole… you killed a retreating soldier who wasn’t a threat.

The first 1 is not fair. He didn't stand by, the humans told them to leave and THEN the decepticons took them out. The Xanthium was located at Kennedy Space Center in FLORIDA! FLORIDA to CHICAGO is a long ass drive. The decepticons had ships and had use of the space bridge. That is an over 1000 mile drive from Florida to chicago. Considering the decepticons had a head start on them with their ships and the space Bridge, I think the Autobots did what they could. First 1 is not Vaiable.

Some of those do in fact alter the chemical makeup of the target. Just like our skin is biology for us, the metal skin of transformers is biology for them

I'm pretty sure the only tv series where the Autobots DIDN'T execute the Decepticons besides G1 is Animated. Most of the Decepticons were either in custody (i.e Blitzwing, Lugnut, Megatron) or MIA (i.e BlackArachnia, Waspinator, Swindle) by the series finale.

I agree with some of them(The "Let Millions Die To Prove A Point" and the Sideways one for example) I dont with others The Chemical Warfare all the Autobots I know that did that were crewmembers of a Ship called Arclight or something like that so I THINK it was only the other crewmembers that encouraged them to do that but who knows right? No most Autobots are the extremely rich 1% that just live off of all the decepticons suffering at some point in the mines countless cybertronian died a day and they didn't care or try to stop it then when they rebelled and followed Megatron they said they were dirty rebels that needed to be put down the Autobots do a lot of sickening stuff before the decepticons did they started the war by being the first to attack and then they started with chemical weapons and torture.
Ok, for the "pillaging resources" one, to be fair, the Decepticons typically had more Energon than the Autobots. And remember, Cybertronians are POWERED by Energon. If the Autobots hadn't done that at all, they basically would've lost the war due to a lack of Energon to keep them alive. What were they supposed to do? Just give up, let the Decepticons hoard all the Energon to themselves, and eventually die out due to a lack of Energon? Yeah, I don't think so.
oh I don't know maybe give them rights and the thing they ask for which was freedom! I'm pretty sure that argument can't be made for a bunch of high-class people that have never had to struggle a day in their lives.
Something I'm a bit confused about is after the war why aren't any of the autobots labelled as war criminals (I'm not at all defending the decepticons they definitely did far worse than any of the crimes the autobots did but they got imprisoned or executed for them) but most of if not all of the autobots got off and were labelled as heroes, they're crimes were hardly even addressed in most series. The way I see it both sides are just civil wars, with both sides having promising arguements But the decepticons just became more power hungry and destructive and the autobots are the slightly less brutal and more nicer of the factions

When you think about some war crimes in this video, some wouldn't even matter because for sure the Decepticons would have done the same. As for the humans being used as soldiers for the Autobot and Decepticon war, I kinda find it understandable because we literally got invaded by hostile aliens, of course who wouldn't want to defend their world from hostile aliens?

With the movies I don't count either Side as good or bad. The first movie was ok but bay just Kept getting more violent and sexy in every movie no matter how unfitting it was to normal transformers. What nemesis prime? Optimus didn't turn evil in TLK; it was just his character development.

Ahem... Dinobot is poor example here. Mainly because Predacon (Decendent of Decepticon.) he does fight for Maximals. (Decendent of the Autobots) But he really doesn't have their morals. Only far later as character growth does he gain some of the maximal morals. But in your examples that was the early more Predacon Dinobot.

Cliffjumper in g1 uses a glass cannon that turns metal to glass. That should be seen as a bio weapon
Technically, it doesn't affect anything organic, so it's technically not a bio weapon.

Ok, for the "pillaging resources" one, to be fair, the Decepticons typically had more Energon than the Autobots. And remember, Cybertronians are POWERED by Energon. If the Autobots hadn't done that at all, they basically would've lost the war due to a lack of Energon to keep them alive. What were they supposed to do? Just give up, let the Decepticons hoard all the Energon to themselves, and eventually die out due to a lack of Energon? Yeah, I don't think so.

Something I'm a bit confused about is after the war why aren't any of the autobots labelled as war criminals (I'm not at all defending the decepticons they definitely did far worse than any of the crimes the autobots did but they got imprisoned or executed for them) but most of if not all of the autobots got off and were labelled as heroes, they're crimes were hardly even addressed in most series.
The way I see it both sides are just civil wars, with both sides having promising arguements
But the decepticons just became more power hungry and destructive and the autobots are the slightly less brutal and more nicer of the factions
