We first visited in April 2022 and are having our third stay at the Bosrijk next month. You’ll have a great time. British tourists are the fastest-growing market for Efteling but we’re still greatly outnumbered by tourists from Germany and Belgium (and Netherlands, obviously). And I like the fact that it feels like a little secret. Taking travel into consideration, a four day family holiday at Efteling costs less than a four day stay at a British CenterParcs. They give you so much food in your breakfast baskets that we were using butter and jam from Efteling at home, weeks after our return. The shops at Efteling are reasonably priced for shops with a captive audience but there’s an Albert Heijn supermarket half a mile away, so it pays to do a detour there and stock up (if you’re self-catering).
What an awesome making off! The best one yet I think! I love seeing the inside of the gildenhuys, and am very exited for a new charlatans show! I don’t trust Virginie either xD
I think the ride will open significantly before October, on a soft launch. There are two clues: you mentioned in another vlog that the Efteling is already advertising for DM crew and the blockwork paving is already in place. Now Efteling does things its own way but blockwork is usually the last thing you put in place because it means there’s no more heavy plant crossing the site. This would suggest that much of the ride machinery is also in situ. Clearly they have themed the exterior in parallel with the construction. Also there are two roofs: an internal roof which has guttering in place, and a decorative roof. I infer from this that the interior is already weather sealed. Sadly I don’t think there’s a chance the ride will be operating when I visit in the weeks’ time. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s taking guests by late summer.
We are not that sure that it will be significantly before October. The blockwork can be placed in Huyverwoud because most of the ride system will be placed in the building throug an opening in the building that is placed in the back, visible from Fabula. You can see this door very well in the making of itself. Therefore we can't confirm your assumption that most of the ride is already is in place. Because this will be a world's first there will be a lot of training and testing before they can open up the ride for a soft opening. But let's hope you're right!
So exciting! I want to work making all the amazing things, what a exciting job! I want gargoyle merchandise when it opens!
Yes that is such a cool job ❤️❤️ and we’re hoping for cool merchandise 🤞
love your Vlogs. I'm coming over from the UK in December to stay at Efteling getting very excited especially for this ride. x
So great that you will be able to ride Danse Macabre when you visit. Will this be your first visit?

Yes also comparing to other theme parks Efteling is great value for money ❤️
@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL Went to Plopsaland just after Christmas. €95 for a hooded top?! €5 for a stubby bottle of water?!
@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL yes first visit never been this part of the world before x

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL I realised just after posting that we’re seeing the public facing end of the ride, not the business end 😂
1:16 My birthday is October 10th so it sounds like it could open the day after my birthday this year!
Maybe, would be cool right?!
@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL It would be a nice birthday present for sure, haha!
