and when looking at basically any of the hiking or camping channels it's basically just a big ad placement. and brands absolutely love it and send them all the shit.
@@crawlspaces That's why I take evrything with a grain of salt. Certain things will not apply to my climate here in Jamaica. We don't have half the real estate to do the type of back packing they do, atleast we don't have dedicated legal hiking trails. We just find some bush and walk through it and call it our trails dwl.

Their MT100 backpack and MT100 puffer jackets, both 99$, are phenomenal value. They could charge double and it would still be worth it in my humble opinion. I've used both for years with 0 issue. I've bought down jackets 3x the price that paled in comparison. ✌
Lmao wtf is going on in the US, I constantly hear this, are there fking men lurking in the woods that you actively have to be careful of? Man that place sucks ass
@@RobertGaron I’ve just had too many bad experiences. From the poles breaking in cold weather, to them just breaking randomly. as well as this one time I took my tent camping in the winter and woke up in the middle of the night too a snowstorm and my tent collapsing on me. Never had an issue with trekking pole tents though. They are as strong as the stakes you put into the ground. So as long as it’s staked down good it’s not gonna break or collapse.
@@WesternBlazer agreed. And tracking pole tents are so much easier to pack and set up because you don’t need to have separate little weak sauce poles that add to the weight.
Brought to you by sea to summit.
The ultralight backpacking influencers are the worst.

Sea to summit is a great all in one company. Supporting small boutique companies helps the community also
What are some examples? I'm new to the club and all I know is S2S, Nemo, Thermarest, REI, etc

They should make their own closed cell foam sleeping pads so you can ditch the Nemo Switchback and go full on Sea To Summit.
I have soooo much sea to summit on my wish list. however, i shall stick to my cozy amazon sleeping bag for now ❤
So you praise your lightest pack but don’t mention their weight. I gotta look up each gear piece manually 😂
Amazing gear
You weren’t bullshittin, you do travel light. Hope you’ve got a side arm or some bear mace, there’s grizzlies and men in those woods. Happy camping!

I do this all over sawtooth and Yellowstone stay safe🖤
What do use the foam pad for
Seat
This is lightweight, but I wouldn’t call any of this gear ultralight. No quilt or sub 2lb tent. The pad passes the test tho
I already push sea to summit to everyone I know how can I be paid to do so so im not doing it for free? Lmao
Lair. Ain't no damn 30 percent off on the website
Helps to be sponsored 🤣
When I heard sea to summit, I thought you were hiking a big mountain by the ocean.
Total weight?
Great info always ❤❤❤
Come to Scotland with this tent..
Why not? I mean its not neccessarily UL but looks solid
It is meant to be 4 season but I don’t own it. Love Scotland though, I live in England boringly but go Scotland tons
I don’t trust tents that have those kind of poles. I only use trekking pole tents now..
Why
