I think there is potential in representing the island landings, the game sure has (some of) the mechanics for it. But I kinda doubt the developers will go for it, it feels like too much of a gamble for them.
@@Hexaboo The devs said on steam community hub that they are definitely going to do a dlc on the eastern front, and there's recently been a eastern-europe map teaser on their facebook page

I got a free review copy from the devs (full disclosure) so that I could get the first video by release, and only checked the DLC's Steam profile last week, expecting it to cost like 13-15 euros, and was really stunned at seeing 8.19! 2x2 really deserve more for the amount of content they've stuffed into the expansion by any measure, let's hope they earn enough to continue working on the game. :)

150% worth it, 2x2 clearly aren't just sitting on their butts and waiting for the money to come.
