    Thank you my friend ! i almost gave up trying to fix my 2000 CRV. i replaced starter, safety sensor and checked all the wires and relays. still did not fixit until i watched you. it was the ground wire. thank you again.

    My starter solenoid ground was the issue. It was so loose you could literally blow air out your mouth and that connector would just come apart so easily. You're that nigga for sure. I changed my thermostat housing which I thought was the problem but once I replaced it I still had issues but that starter solenoid ground was the issue for sure. Ever since I replaced the solenoid ground I've had no issues with starting my car. Thank you my brother

    Saved my ass! Thought the starter was dead, turns out the cable had just been dislodged. Car went right back to moving.

    Thank you 🙏 you ✅you were absolutely right about the ground wire from transmission to chassis, my ground was going to the wrong part of the car, someone ground it to transmission to the bracket that held the oem intake box , when I watched your video I already bought a brand new battery and starter installed it and nothing same no crank issue but when I simply cleaned and replaced the bolts and ground wire with shiny new ones and the ground wire now in the right place the car starts with no issue , thanks again I was one of those ppl that over looked the simple things and went right in to buying parts I didn’t need , I’m gonna return the new stuff and put the old stuff back except the ground wire which was my issue

    Wonder if this is my issue. I thought it was my thermostat housing ground because anytime I moved it it turned on no problem but these past 2 days have the car has been acting up not turning on literally tight after turning it off and driving it. Replaced the battery re grounded all my wires and nothing. Imma check that little piece u mentioned at the beginning tomorrow to see if that fixes my problem.

    The valve cover ground is only good for like if you need to grab anywhere in the back of the car for ground..the transmission ground is good enough for anywhere near for battery ground

    My 92 civic has the motor from a 2000 crv I’m not familiar with these motors I seen this wire ripped off and thought nothing of it because this car had a bunch of unconnected wires but it looks like I found my problem 😂

    Can I get a new connector for a Honda civic??

  • @patrickjoseph1025
    @patrickjoseph1025 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanx man!!, my Honda accord wouldn't crank or start, & it's because of the loose connecter to the starter like you showed.
    How should I fix it?
    Tape?, replace/solder a new connector cable? Squeeze that female connector's probes so it can grab thé pins of thé mâle side better? Something else?

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Normally just squeezing the stock connector to allow better connection. Makes it work fine. Give that a try 1st.

    Could the grounds be the issue if motor turns over but will not run? Ignition, battery and starter all working.

    • @vdittycc
      @vdittycc 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No , it prob a fuel pump or a cam sensor. Best way to rule out fuel problem on any car they crank no start is to spray some starting fluid in throttle body .

    My crx sometimes wont start but if I push start it, it works Everytime. I replaced my starter, dizzy, main relay and battery connections but nothing. It has the clutch bypass so I dont have to push the clutch in. When I turn the key I hear the fuel pump and then I fully turn and hear a small click and nothing. Sometimes it cranks perfect Everytime for a couple weeks then it'll give me a couple weeks of having to push start it every morning. Also seems like It happens a lot more when it's a hot day or the car gets hot from being driven. Any ideas?

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sounds like you did most of the normal things I would say try the ignition switch next.

    Can I get to that connector without taking the intake off? How do I get to it?

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have the stock intake on you will have a hard time reaching it. It's on the side of the starter so you may be about to get it from under the car.

    I'm having this same issue with my 2009 Honda Civic ex. It's been sitting for a month and the first thing i checked was my battery which had no power. Would this connector be a cause for no crank or starting or is it all from the battery?

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best place to start with a no crack issue is the battery. Trying putting a charger on the battery of getting a jump from some and see if you get any cranking by doing that.

  • @ctrldmnz6242

    Hey im having an issue where my car randomly didnt want to crank , i turn the key and nothing happens no clicks lights dont dim , i tried to jump the starter and it just sparked but didnt crank , any idea what it could be?

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Does the engine spin free? I wanna make sure its not the engine locking up first. After that check your engine grounds,the cables corrode bad sometimes not just the ends but the cable its self.

    • @ctrldmnz6242
      @ctrldmnz6242 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes engine spins freely , this happened after the car sat for a few weeks , there was a ground that looked pretty bad that was grounded to the plate thats on the starter ima change it out but im not sure that would be the problem , going to check all the grounds and electrical connections to the battery just to make sure

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the the two main ones ive had issues with are the one on the thermostat its the main ground to the ecu. And the one from the valve cover. If the cable it bolted on to a bolt with a rubber washer (all the main bolts that hold the cover down) then that ground is not working.

    • @ctrldmnz6242
      @ctrldmnz6242 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah i just find it weird that i tried to jump it from the starter solenoid and it just sparked didnt even crank the motor , car was running perfectly fine then left it sitting for a few weeks

    • @rkzperformance8973
      @rkzperformance8973  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean your start solenoid could be sticking/bad. Try tapping it with a hammer n see if it will engage. Have someone try to start it as your tapping on it.
